I'm canceling my membership because of how this situation was handled. I've been a Fast5 Xpress Car Wash member for almost 10 years. After a decade of paying for this service, I expected that when a legitimate concern came up, it would at least be handled professionally and followed through to a conclusion. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at the Costa Mesa location. I went through this car wash, and the following day I noticed a crack in the upper portion of my windshield. I contacted the location and spoke with the manager, Cynthia. She asked me to bring the vehicle in so the damage could be documented. I did exactly that. The vehicle was inspected and an official incident report was completed that specifically lists the incident as "Cracked windshield." I was then told that I would receive a phone call regarding the matter. That call never came. After waiting approximately a week, I contacted the location myself. Rather than receiving an update, I was told I needed to bring the vehicle back again. This was confusing considering I had already made a trip specifically to show them the damage, had an incident report completed, and had been told someone would contact me. Unfortunately, shortly afterward my vehicle experienced an unrelated transmission failure and was undrivable for approximately a month while I waited for the necessary repairs. Once the vehicle was operational again, I returned to the car wash as requested. Cynthia was not there, so I spoke with another employee. Once again, I was told that I would receive a phone call. Once again, nobody called. This is now the second time after a month. At this point, my frustration is less about whether Fast5 ultimately accepts or denies responsibility and more about the complete lack of follow-through. If the company believes it isn't responsible, then tell me that. If the incident requires investigation, then investigate it and communicate the result. What isn't acceptable is asking a customer to make multiple trips, documenting the damage on an incident report, repeatedly promising a follow-up, and then simply not responding at all. The photos attached to this review document the windshield damage from multiple angles, including close-ups from inside and outside the vehicle. I've also included photos from the car wash itself and the incident report completed by the location documenting the cracked windshield. I normally used the Fullerton location, where I originally signed up, and I remained a customer for roughly 10 years. That's what makes this especially disappointing. Fast5 isn't losing a decade-long customer simply because there was a dispute over a windshield. They're losing a decade-long customer because when something went wrong, nobody could be bothered to give that customer an answer. After approximately 10 years of membership, I'm canceling. And based on my experience, if you notice damage after using this location, take pictures immediately, document everything, keep copies of the paperwork, and don't assume that filing an incident report means someone will actually follow up with you. read more

I always go here when I need an express wash and it's never a problem. I normally get their gold wash and I think it's usually $16. The gold wash does have a 3 day guarantee so if you feel like your car didn't stay clean within that window then you can go back and get a free wash as long as you bring your receipt. You may not believe you need a membership but overtime it really comes in handy. The best part is you can purchase one at the kiosk. Afterwards, staff will hand you a card to fill out. First time at Fast5Xpress Car Wash. Right off the bat, the name of this car wash bugs me. Lol What is this the Fast and the Furious car wash?? The name implies "fast" and "express," but unfortunately doesn't really describe the service. It should be called Gone in 20 minutes, because you are gonna wait in slow lines that take forever, just to get up to the wash. The wash itself appears to clean really well and do a good job. We still had spots in the back of my car. My partner took a rag and dried it. They give you wet wipes and air fresheners when you get up to the front. That's a nice touch. If you have a membership, they just check for the sticker. The membership seems like the way to go. The one time pricing isn't worth it. read more

For starters, my car was embarrassingly filthy. Being a dog owner and hosting events puts a lot of wear-and-tear on my vehicle. I was impressed by the efficient and quality wash I received from Fast5Xpress. If there were such thing as a premium drive-through car wash, this would be the place. The drive through process takes less than five minutes - hence the name. They also have a number of upgrades, including options for a deeper wash, dry, or wax. You can even become a member to received unlimited washes per month. Not only is the wash great quality, but the vacuum hoses at Fast5Xpress are exceptional. My machine did a great job sucking up the absurd amount of dog hair scattered throughout my car. They even have metal clips to hold your floor mats down for a deeper clean. One thing that is unique to Fast5Xpress is their product vending machines. They offer additional items for purchase including cleaning rags, interior wipes, and air fresheners. Signed up for the Silver monthly wash. The Quality of this place is going downhill. The workers spray water on only half the car, they don't use full hand or arm motions to direct car into tunnel. Drying machine blows water BACK ONTO the Windshield Then Super Dry Smears the run off onto the windshield, roof and the back window doesn't even get touched. This is how my car looked after. A friendly service attendant helped us pick on of the four service level. We picked the 2nd level for $11. Then, we just had to follow the instructions and go through the tunnel. It was very easy. I bought the platinum car wash for $16 and received a free air freshener. The cashier was quick and friendly and I proceeded around to the entrance of the car wash. The greeter was polite and quickly guided me onto the track and I went through the car wash. The soap was plentiful and they have a lot of dryers! I appreciate that as some car washes only have a couple and your car really doesn't get dry. The vacuum stations are plentiful and clean. The vacuums are pretty powerful as well as the air hose. I will definitely return here as it was great and I love that it's open later, especially on a Saturday. I believe they offer a great value for a quick service wash. read more

Having worked for a car wash for almost 13 years in my younger days, this car wash is totally subpar. Half the time I go through on my membership the foamers are only half working , or weak with not enough soap. Sometimes the mitters aren't working or the wraps aren't working. And the line speed is so freaking slow it's painful waiting in line forever. And my tailgate is never clean. And why do they pre-treat only one side?
