He asked How did I manage to rupture a bicep tendon like he said it's not like you're into sports like a baseball pitcher or weight lifter That's more likely when you would see that type of injury Rotator cuff's are common but he somehow he changed my mood maybe I felt a I was in the hands of another Awesome Dr. With a great sense of Humor can't explain but I was ok He said let's go and look and see these injuries as you can't go more than a certain amount of days or there's a chance the Dr. Cannot fix it So he scheduled for surgery ASAP. I had surgery done. He explained to me that there was a little bit left and they put a button in and I had read up on that Drs, use buttons for a much stronger hold Drs. put that in for athletes or weightlifter's but he put it in me because I had very little tendon left. Can't say enough about him. I recovered very quickly. I am having issues with my elbow. I need to see him when I fell,if my elbow is in a certain position for more than 10 minutes I literally have to lift my arm I made a full recovery from his Surgery Now need him to tell me hopefully my Elbow is just a sprain I did hit the pavement hard But I will only go to Florida Orthopedic 's in Brandon on Lakewood Dr. I can only imagine the look on his face when he sees me walk in he has such a good personality he's so upbeat I've been treated by two incredible surgeons at Florida Orthopedics, and Brandon. I could not possibly go any place else and feel as comfortable as they make me feel even though the news may not be what I wanted to be they have a way in this goes for Dr. Loewy my foot Dr that's how I heard about Dr.Loewy neither Dr. let me down they gave me hope, and they gave me some confidence of my As I'm sure they give you every patient 100% percent I am Thankful to Both Drs. Made an appointment with Dr Michael Miranda at FOI's facility on Lakewood in Brandon. We had met Dr Miranda at a knee replacement seminar he gave a while back. I knew he was thr Doctor I wanted to see. As it turns out it was nothing serious just a flare up. I was given some exercises and if it continued give him a call back. I have to say #1 Lakewood is a beautiful facility. Everyone was super nice and caring from check in to xray. Dr Miranda and his staff took good care of me, giving my knee a thorough exam and explaining my xrays. Interedting to see what looked like from the inside. As I said there nothing wrong and no prescriptions which is ok with me. I can't imagine seeing anyone else but Dr Miranda. I totally trust him and other doctors I have seen st FOI. I'm setting at home in major pain, this is not the FOI that i was first in counter in 1998, FOI…read moreoffice on Fletcher Ave, the care i got there was outstanding, went to the Brandon office out of convenience, i visited on 6/20/24 got xray no meds, was to follow up with therapy, how ever my pain level elevated over the weekend, back in the office on Monday morning 6/24/24, got injection in lower back and methpredisone packet and muscle relaxer, MRI schedule for 6/27/24, unable to complete due to me not able to lie flat, on 6/24 Dr. try to examine me on table and i was unable to lie flat at that time, so why do you schedule a patient for a MRI that require one to lie flat. I call there Brandon office today 7/1/24 and all i got was the number for the Dr. Administrative assistant with no voice mail. I am a nurse and FOI does not deserve a one STAR, but that the only way it would post this review

Both my husband and I have come here out of convenience to see an orthopedoc doctor for sports…read moreinjuries relating to running - the office is closest to our house and only one of a few Ortho docs in the area. ** We've had bad experiences every time we've come here ** 1) Each time we've both waited almost an hour and a half or more just to be seen - I understand waiting at the doctor's office, but going on lunch break or before or after work it's not feasible to get in at the time appointments are made 2) While waiting, we just hear the staff is right outside of our door chatting about. There's no one checking in on you, they bring you into a room, tell you to wait and you're in there..for a while. While you hear them outside just talking about their weekends and other nonsense. 3) The Doctors we've seen aren't geniune or friendly. They're very straight forward and want to see you repeatedly to eat up your insurance. Even when there's no need, they recommend PT at their partner office instead of working through self care. 4) The front staff is clueless about insurance benefits and I've seen them use a 'cheat sheet' for reference - they go back and forth asking others questions instead of knowing how to process payment 5) Surgery is always encouraged here. I've been for a cyst on my food where surgery was my 'only option' for relief, when I ended up having it go away on its own eventually and with self care. My husband had 1 surgery, no proper care or follow up afterwards, and ended up needing a second surgery to get him to running again. It took almost 2 years total. I am definitely going to another to orthopedic doc going forward. I'm currently marathon training and will need care ongoing - but want to find a trustworthy doctor. I'd would rather drive farther to see a better doctor.

Just started physical therapy for my shoulder. Parking lot gets busy but I always find a handicap…read morespot. Building is clean and airy. PTis on the 3rd floor and has windows looking outside across the north wall so it's a nice view while going through the exercises. The receptionist, Natalie is very nice and friendly. There are a handful of therapists on staff who look like they all work together well in sync. My therapist Mike is knowledgable, patient and listens to my concerns. Much better experience her than i Have had in the past at another facility. Looking forward to seeing improvement in my shoulder and a reduction in pain.

Dr. Dennis is super down to earth, but really professional. The space is immaculate, and each session includes a thorough walkthrough of all stretching and exercise routines. It's right across from the orthopedic doctor's office on the third floor, which makes it even more convenient & easy to find. Appointments typically last about an hour, and while some exercises are challenging, they're designed to truly benefit your recovery. Hoping to see what the next few months have in store for me!
