We have an old gas fired boiler that dates back to the 1950's, serving 14 radiators at our house. The unit works beautifully and they are as proud to keep it going strong as I am of their dependable service, keeping it maintained and always leaving me with the same comment "when you need to replace it we'll let you know "and that's been the case for over 20 years!" Truly, these guys know what they are doing : They take the time to explain with care and respect for property. I would welcome them and trust them in our home honestly..."Day & NIght" Hands down....the best! 5 Plus stars!

They installed and serviced our current…read moreboiler and high-velocity AC system, which is why I am disappointed to be updating my review. In Summer 2025, I called because my AC system was no longer performing normally. It would run continuously during 80-degree weather and could not keep up during 90-degree weather. I have lived in this home since the system was installed and knew that airflow from the vents was significantly lower than it had been in prior years. Because the high-velocity system and ductwork are located in the attic, I specifically requested that the attic ductwork be inspected. During both the original visit and a follow-up visit, I was told the airflow was acceptable, but the attic ductwork was not inspected. Instead, I was advised that poor insulation was likely the reason the system was struggling. After adding insulation, the problem became much worse. When I started the system the following spring, some vents had little or no airflow at all. A different Day & Night technician visited in Spring 2026 and found loose duct connections, which he fixed, and that significantly improved airflow in part of the house. However, the other half of the house still had very poor airflow. I was told that follow-up service could be performed later that week if additional issues remained. The issues did remain, but no call was received and no follow-up service was performed. I contacted the office multiple times over the next two weeks. Each time I was led to believe that service would be scheduled, but it never occurred despite several cool days that were suitable for attic work. After waiting approximately two weeks, I contacted another HVAC company. They inspected the attic ductwork on their first visit and found a compressed duct and a disconnected duct. The repairs were completed during that same visit, at approximately half the cost of Day & Night's most recent service charge. Airflow in the affected area of the home is now dramatically improved and significantly better than it was when I first reported the problem in 2025. Mechanical issues happen, and even experienced technicians can miss a diagnosis. My disappointment is that repeated requests to inspect the attic ductwork were not acted upon, follow-up service that was discussed never occurred, and I ultimately had to hire another company to identify and resolve the remaining problem. Based on this experience, I can no longer recommend Day & Night.

I explained to him that my unit occasionally turns off and then back on in very short intervals. He wasn't able to offer any thoughts as to why that might be happening other than my unit is old. Fast forward 2 weeks. Today, I had a different company come out. Within 30 seconds of him taking off the same exact shield on the back of my A/C unit, he saw a frayed wire. Within 5 minutes he had replaced the wire and the problem was solved. One would think that the kid from Comfort Zone would have noticed it. The guy who was here today showed me the wire, it was RIGHT in front of exactly where the Comfort Zone kid hooked up the same diagnostic tools. If I'm paying to have my unit inspected, I'd think a company is actually INSPECTING the unit. I'm tempted to report this to the BBB. What a complete and utter rip off!!!

I used the project quote function on Yelp to snag some pricing and info from local plumbers. In chatting with Al over yelp, he had me send some pictures and gave me a general idea of pricing. Unfortunately for me, my setup is non-compliant with current code specs. Fortunately for me, Al was able to come check it out in person the next day. He was then able to get back to me and upgrade my system, install a new water heater, and take the old one out... all within 72 hours of my original request. Some of the larger companies in the area were a week or more out before even willing to come give me an estimate. Can't say enough positive things about Breyer's. From start to finish it was a friendly, professional, and well done project. If i need a plumber in the future, they'll be my first call.

They replied to my request for the price for a visit within a few hours of initial communication, and Al came the next day . He explained everything as he examined the A/C, fan and motor. It was a motor/fan problem for AC and furnace. Since my furnace was 13 years old and had a few hiccups last winter already, i asked them to replace with brand new one. Today (next day) D'Artagnon and his colleague came @8 am to replace my old furnace. They even made a few updates on pipes for drainage (so that water goes into the drain directly without spilling). Now my AC is blowing nice cold air and I don't have to worry about the furnace for at least another 10 years (that comes with 10 year warranty). The price for this installation was reasonable, as it was a bit lower than my old furnace. They did all within 3.5 hours. Al followed up with a call to make sure I was satisfied with their work within 30 min. I felt they were thorough and very professional, and honest and do care about their customers.

They were here within the first hour. Took a look and diagnosed it fast enough. Charged us $200 charge for a visit and the diagnostics. It will cost us $2,500 or so for a new compressor and installation, that seems like a lot for a compressor. The unit is big, it's on the roof of the shopping plaza. Would take over a week to get the new compressor. AC works but weakly, but nothing significant to make you feel cool at all. May be caused from lightning or nature, since the AC is on the roof of the building. We received a call the Friday before the scheduled install after about 2 weeks. No parts still. Parts won't come in until middle of the following week or so. They came to install the new compressor. What toasty weeks we have had while having to wait a 2-3 weeks for the compressor to come in. The job took a full day and a couple of hours the next day. It cost a little less than $3k, not cheap. The AC is back to good at least. Only took a little over 2.5 weeks to get it fixed.
