Roof leak was right above the china cabinet, and the wall was bubbled and cracked all the way down to the floor, so I knew the water was under the cabinet and in the carpet for at least 5 days. All the other HomeAdvisor movers quoted me $250 minimums and UP for this 5 min moving job. When Brandon heard my plight, he too had a minimum, but agreed to send his men after they finished their job, because my house was on their way to go to Tempe. He quoted me $75. I said I'll TAKE IT. I was so relieved someone could come in 1.5 HOURS. Brandon called me later and gave me a better time frame. It was more like 2.5 hours later, but they CAME and in five minutes, moved the cabinet from the water damaged carpet and wall. Cabinet was so damaged that brown "mulch" from the rotten disintegrated particleboard fell from the bottom when they picked the cabinet up. We were all appalled, and were examining how soft and crumbling the saturated particleboard was, but I think it can be fixed. Carpet was all stained brown too, but I know someone who could clean that up too. I am SOOO HAPPY Light Brothers bent his rules to accommodate me and resolve my problem within HOURS, and for $75 cash. Thank you so much Brandon and Travis !

They used the entire 3 hours to not even finish loading a 2br house that was already packed; it just needed to be loaded into the U-haul. One worker got upset at my wife for calling them out for standing around, and said "f**k this we're leaving." I contacted Rico to see what was going on, he said it takes 4 hours to pack a 26ft truck, which is fine. However, that was the only truck available and our stuff only took up a little over half of the actual truck to which I explained that you're basing this off truck size and not the actual items in the truck. We could've fit our stuff in a 15ft truck if we could've gotten one, as you can see in the photo. There were only a couple items left in the storage unit to load when they left. Rico was talking to someone else while on the phone with me and completely ignored the issue. No resolution, no attempt to make this right, he asked if he could call me back cause he was busy...still awaiting that call back. So, we're just stuck with a half packed truck and no workers? Got it. Don't recommend. Hired another company (Smoove Move Movers), they finished loading the truck and unloaded everything to perfection in less than 2 hours.

The most recent quoted move was significantly higher at a flat $500, with an additional $180 charged in 30-minute increments (rounded up) for any time over the agreed period via the Groupon deal. During the most recent interaction, I was charged unexpected extra fees. When I questioned them, the representative hung up on me. I called back to request assistance in recovering funds through Groupon. The representative again stated that Groupon is a third party and not their problem, then hung up on me a second time. Email from Lisa (for reference): "Thank you for sending this over. We have 6/12 arrival 630-7am. For the Groupon we will need the Groupon redemption code and I can send over our contract and payment link for the trip fee $100 + $40 mileage fee and $90 moving supplies that are required to properly protect and handle your belongings (stretch wrap, mattress bags and tape). On the day of service any additional hours are $180 prorated in 30 minute increments rounded up. Please let me know if you have any questions Thank you Lisa" You may verify yourself whether these additional charges are clearly disclosed in the original Groupon description. Edit after laughable response from owner: I have receipts from th bank showing I received a full refund. No need to lie. Service Issues: * First Move: The crew initially performed a walkthrough and appeared professional. However, after the move was completed, they had forgotten one of my televisions. Despite pointing it out, they offered no solution and simply left. I was forced to arrange separate transportation for the large TV myself. While the crew was polite, the lack of accountability after a walkthrough was unacceptable. * Second Move (No-Show): The movers failed to show up entirely. I filed a dispute with my credit card, which resulted in a full refund. Credit Card Refund Confirmation: "We are writing to inform you that a refund has been initiated in connection with your recent transaction with Soft Touch Moving. After reviewing your dispute and the details provided, we have processed a reversal of the applicable charge. The credited amount will be returned to your account ending in **** within 3-5 business days, depending on your financial institution's posting times. No further action is required from you at this time. If you do not see the refund reflected after the stated timeframe, please contact us so we can assist you further. We appreciate your patience while we completed our review." In summary, I would strongly advise others not to waste their time or money with Soft Touch Moving. They were asking to borrow our tools. They were breaking furniture apart like cavemen. They were bumping into our walls all the way down the stairs and out the front door. Blue Guava did about ten times the work (no exaggeration), in only 2.5-3 hours longer for only $250 more than the big company. They brought their own tools and quickly disassembled furniture when necessary. Further, they identified what was donatable, took it to Goodwill, and brought us back receipts for our tax returns. Again, if you need movers, this is the company you want.

Today the movers arrived. They can arrive between 9-11a and came at exactly 9. Both of the men were polite and careful with all my belongings. They took apart my bed from for me and wrapped some fragile things. They were also very quick. I am a single person that was moving from one unit to another in a large complex (so they loaded everything into the truck and then unloaded it). It took them about 1.5 hours (they charge a 2 hour minimum). Overall, great company. I would use them again and recommend them.
