I called Brandon not quite sure what to expect cost wise to set up the cameras, whether there would be a monthly cost, etc. Once I contacted Brandon, he was out to the house immediately. He was very thorough, explained the system to me and explained there is no monthly subscription fee as the system I have records to a DVR. He helped set up the app on both mine and my wife's cell phone and walked us through how to snip videos and put them on a USB. At this point, I was very satisfied with Brandon's response and professionalism while at the house, and the price was extremely fair as well. A couple of days after the system was set up I began to have an issue viewing the cameras. I contacted Brandon once again and he walked me through the steps to diagnose the issue over the phone. Turns out the hard drive went bad, so he told me which one to order on Amazon. It came in, and being busy with the move I wasn't able to contact him again to install it until 9:30PM on a Sunday night. Amazingly, he called right away and walked me entirely through the setup of the new hard drive. Again, at 9:30PM on a SUNDAY night, Brandon called me back right away after contacting him and walked me through all steps necessary and didn't even charge me. Brandon is very responsive to customer needs and goes out of his way to make sure everything is correct. I will never use anyone again for home security install and I recommend you don't either. THE PRODUCT - Macbook Pro 13" 2015 Retina D.A. Most importantly, **this screen is cased in plastic.** Even though their website specifically guarantees a "Metal Display Housing Cover". I really hope they didn't skimp on all the other key materials, but who can say. If you'd like to be able to pass your mac off as a mac again, this isn't the screen for you. That said, the screen is **working well** - I'm not noticing any issues with wifi, or anything else so far (one week in). The camera is pretty low quality, but since I haven't used the original Apple camera in months - because of this experience, see below - I can't really compare the two. I am no screen engineer or designer, so I can't speak to the color balance or anything like that. THE EXPERIENCE If I sound upset or downright fried, it's because I am. My original Apple screen started glitching on December 23rd. I asked my brother for help - he's a mechanical and electrical engineer, so it's his forte. He found this replacement part and felt pretty good about it, so we decided to replace it ourselves instead of paying probably north of $1k at the genius bar. The screen was out of stock at the time, so we waited until it was available again. On February 3rd, we were finally able to place the order for the replacement screen. **My credit card was charged immediately, and I received an email that the order was processed.** Their website said that they'd have "nothing [shipped] until the 14th due to the lunar new year", even though it also said they were in stock. Fine, we waited, and the lunar new year came and went. It was shipping flat rate, so I figured I'd give it the 10 business days to arrive. Nothing. On March 2nd, I wrote to the customer support email to ask what happened. On March 6th, I called and left a voicemail requesting a call back urgently. When I finally got a call back from Ron, I was pretty upset about the whole thing. To add fuel to the fire, **Ron immediately accused me of fraud.** Excellent. Ron said he must have emailed me back the week prior - but he definitely did not. He tells me that my order looked fraudulent, so they didn't ship the screen. I asked him why I didn't receive an email letting ME know about this? How on earth is it okay to take my $350 and send me nothing? Who's really the fraud here? I said that I completely understood if his company is dealing with a fraud attack, as he claimed, and I that would figure out a way to change my payment information and/or delivery address to look less fraudulent - my new mailing address is a PO Box and I had to leave my laptop with my brother in a different state at Christmas because of the shipping delays. I understand where he was coming from, but where was the communication????? He was sitting on my money and communicating nothing! So Ron is finally convinced that I'm not fraudulent, and **promises** to ship me my screen immediately. He says he'll hand-ship it himself that evening - sounds impressive, right? No. That was Wednesday, March 6th, and I heard nothing at all. One week later, I called Ron back to asked for a tracking number on that shipment. Ron got upset with me, said package thefts are a huge problem, and it must have been stolen, that he was out $350 bucks, yada yada, fraud, etc. (My brother works from home - in a residential neighborhood with houses far apart - and knows the delivery guys personally. He answers the doorbell for the packages. There's no way.) He said there was no tracking number because he went over to Fedex himself and shipped it with cash out-of-pocket. He sounded pissed, like it was my fault he's in this mess. I couldn't believe my ears. By the way, paying out of pocket to ship my package is absurd, the company should pay, and I would have preferred the proper channels, where I could get a shipping confirmation email and track my package. Ron says that he searched his whole car and couldn't find the paper receipt anywhere. At this point, I highly doubt he shipped a screen, and I also doubt that there even is a "proper channel" for this business. PS Ron introduces himself as Customer Service on the phone, but according to Yelp, he's really the owner. Who knows. I'm just detailing my experience for y'all at this point. It's been a really long time since I've dealt with anyone or any company this unprofessional, either personally or professionally. Long story short: the screen never arrives, Ron finally refunds my original purchase, uses manipulative language on our phone calls to suggest that he's the victim, only takes responsibility of these errors when he can spin it to come out the savior in the end. I had used truck beds about 2 years ago to move and help me organize two 10x20 storage units. The help I was sent was far above and beyond anything I had ever expected. It only took the young men about 2 hours to complete the task. I was so pleased with their service that I tipped them 100%. So naturally I contacted truck beds again when I needed everything from that storage unit in Denton moved to Fort Worth. Originally I had set it up for monday, September 20th, at 9:00 a.m. in Denton Texas. I had sent Paul the information on where and when to meet. When I got there Monday morning, I texted after waiting for a while and Paul told me he was sorry he did not see the text for the confirmation until Monday morning. He said he could immediately find help for me and get it sent out, but I said no let's start fresh at 9:00 tomorrow morning. Confirmed. I had also told them that we needed to be completely done by 6:00 p.m. that evening because my storage unit in Fort Worth locks up precisely at 6:00 and you cannot get in. The doors are locked. I was there at 9:00 a.m. on tuesday, September 21st, again no show. I texted Paul at 9:30 and he was sorry, said he had spoken with them and they would be there soon. About 10:15 to 10:30 two young men showed up with a 26 ft truck, took a look at the storage unit, and said there was no way the two of them could get it all loaded. So they called Paul and someone named Jonas, and went to get a third man They physically got started at 11:00 a.m. now, this same storage unit that is 10x20 and had been completely packed and organized by my two previous truck buds in 2 hours took them 4 hours to load onto the truck. One piece was left behind in my daughter's storage unit because they could not fit it in. I gave the men the address to the storage unit in Fort Worth and ask them if they had brought lunches. As it was now after 3:00 they said no so I gave them $45 as they said they were going to stop at Subway on the way down. I asked Tyrine to call me when he was about 15 minutes away so I would be sure I was there when they arrived. Tyrine (the lead) called me at 4:15 and told me they were 13 minutes away. They showed up 45 minutes later because they had stopped at QuikTrip for drinks, and apparently took a wrong turn on the street to come to my storage unit. That meant we only had one hour to get it completely unloaded. The manager of the storage unit came out at 5:45 to see how much was left on the truck and said okay she would stay a few minutes longer. They finally finished at 6:15. I will attach pictures at the way they threw things into my storage unit. Keeping in mind that I'm 69 years old, I went in several days after and started rearranging myself. The difference I made myself in 3 hours is astounding compared to what it took them to complete this job. I was in contact with Paul several times during the day of the job. I had been told I would not be charged for the third person. I have been in contact with Paul and told him of my displeasure as well as sending pictures. Several days later as I was working I came across the cedar chest my father gave my mother on their wedding day in 1948, broken into pieces. I know they knew it had happened because all of my furniture had been wrapped in moving blankets and plastic wrap. This time the cedar chest just had one of the storage blankets thrown over it. I again called Paul, left a message and told him I wanted an itemized statement for the $948.75 I was charged. I also sent him pictures of the storage unit, and my mother's cedar chest several times. I gave him what I feel is plenty of time to respond, I have tried to call him again with no answer, so this is my review. I told him I would be reviewing you on Facebook, and contacting the better business bureau. I have many more pictures I can share, including pictures that I took after I had worked in there 3 hours organizing. Incredibly unprofessional…read more I was giving away a furniture on Facebook to two families in need, and Paul (who I believe is the owner) offered on the post to pick it up from me and deliver it to them at no cost to the recipients. He scheduled with me, no-showed at the agreed upon time, rescheduled for the next week (after I'd reached out), and then stood me up again. Both times the woman (a single mother) and I took off work to meet him based on his availability, and he couldn't even give me the courtesy of a call or message letting me know plans had changed on either occasion. This was a week ago, and I've yet to receive an apology, or even a response to my message.
