I should of read the reviews before I went there last Saturday. My son had his iPhone 7 repair for a light crack. We just gave them $120.00 for NOTHING. It hasn't even been 7 days and my son's phone looks worse. OR someone doesn't know what they are doing. I've had some other devices screen replace by another company and never seen this issue so bad. I called to see if they would be willing to look at it and re-fix it, all I got was call back to offer me $20.00 off. So I would of been paying $220.00 to fix the screen correctly like it should of been done the first time. No thank you. Obviously good customer service and retaining customers is not their objective. They are using fake and cheap parts to repair the screen. It feels and looks like cheap paper. I have included a screenshot. PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE. Don't even take a chance like we did. It's so bad that now we have to purchase a new iPhone 7 at current retail price . I'm very upset and should not of trusted them with my phone. read more

THOROUGHLY FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE! This was just about the most exasperating customer experience that I've ever had in my life. I brought my laptop in while visiting my brother in Raleigh because upon plugging it in I noticed that the battery icon was reading "battery not detected". I had recently replaced the battery but it had been working just fine for about a week, no problems with battery detection during that time. Then all of a sudden it starts reading battery not detected. So I bring it in there May 28th for (only) a diagnostic because they do free diagnostics and I figured why not I may as well. Well, here we are on June 19th AND I STILL DON'T HAVE MY LAPTOP AND THE PROBLEM STILL HASN'T BEEN RESOLVED. During the diagnostics they had ruled out the battery itself and the charger as potential causes of the problem so they thought it was that the diodes on the motherboard had gone bad. Fine. Do they call me ahead of time to tell me what they thought the problem was and ask if I wanted them to order the part first? No. They go ahead and order the part without my consent, meanwhile I need to be heading back to Boston within the next couple days. Because they had already ordered the part I felt compelled to just leave my laptop down there in order to resolve the issue as quickly as possible (or so I thought). A week passes. Two weeks pass. They still haven't received the diodes. Not necessarily their fault, sure, but they make absolutely no attempt to keep me updated by calling me periodically. Nope, I have to go out of my way to call them at least five or six times over that time period to get an update, and half the time they didn't even know what the status was because my technician wasn't in and apparently they don't communicate with each other very well. They finally get the part in last week, they say they're working on it and will call me back, of course they don't call me back, so I call again on Monday only to learn that they replaced the diodes AND THAT DIDN'T EVEN RESOLVE THE ISSUE. So here we are, three weeks later, and we're back to the drawing board and it's as if I had never brought it in there to begin with (which I now wish I hadn't). I brought it in simply to get a diagnosis of the problem and it turned into this huge painstaking situation. I ended up having to send my brother who lives nearby in there today to rescue my poor laptop and ship it to me himself. It will FINALLY arrive on Saturday, 25 days since I brought it in, AND THE ISSUE STILL HASN'T BEEN RESOLVED. Not only will either of us never go to this place again, but I am also going to be extremely gunshy about taking my laptop ANYWHERE for service ever again. Lesson learned thanks to this absolutely awful experience: troubleshoot as much as you possibly can yourself, then bring your device in somewhere only if you absolutely have to. I can't speak to how this place does with phones but I would STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST anyone bringing their laptop in, because you won't see it anytime soon. I brought my laptop here to check my keyboard & a black mark on my screen. My computer was running fine otherwise. They gave me an estimate of over $400 and said the motherboard needed to be replaced. I declined & took my laptop back. Something else was done to my computer because it has been running really slow ever since. I have been using an external keyboard & it was operating just fine before I took it here. read more

They are selling fake items. I went to change my iphone7 screen because I dropped my phone, it shattered, etc. The screen "didn't fit" for some reason both workers were unable to give me a clear answer for. As soon as I put my sunglasses on I couldn't see the screen. Don't go there. read more

My labtop Lenovo yoga would cut off after using it. I brought it to CRD Friday afternoon and did not hear back from them until Wednesday evening. They told it was the power supply and with 3 hours of labor and parts it would cost me $300. I had no voice but to get it fixed. I brought it home and it still had the same issue. Supposedly repair MacBook Air. Took 4 weeks!! Stopped working 2 days after it was picked up. On a different MacBook Air, ordered 2 different screens and both were bad. I took my reliable but aging Toshiba laptop and brand new HP Laptop to Computer Repair Doctor and asked that the data (email, Word documents, pictures, downloads, contacts, etc) on my old Toshiba be copied to my new HP, and that the Toshiba be returned to me unchanged. Indicating it was a straight forward job, they said, "It'll take one day, maybe two." Nearly two weeks and $680 later, they had made a mess of both laptops. They failed to copy any of my hundreds of essential Word documents, nor any of my 400 contacts to the new laptop! Wouldn't you think they would have checked before they handed it back to me? They didn't. My new computer was returned to me as a complete mess of files and folders, many empty, scattered everywhere. My old reliable Toshiba booted only with error screens. They said the mechanical drive on my brand new computer was unreliable and suggested that I buy a solid state drive from them for $300, which I did. They had my data, so I felt pressured to do as they suggested. They also said the mechanical drive in my older Toshiba was not working properly, which turned out to not be the case. They asked that I bring my old Toshiba (now unbootable) back so they could compare its data, somehow, to what was copied to the HP. At this point, I decided to cut my losses and take both of my laptops to a competitor, which was recommended by a friend. In short order, for $219, their technicians returned my old Toshiba to perfect working order. I can't tell you what a relief it was to see that years of Word docs and Contacts and all the rest of my files (pictures, downloads, email, tec) were made safe and perfectly organized. I bought my laptop in with the main complaint being it was slow and would not maintain the wifi from the next room. I would never go there again. I had to buy a new laptop, after taken it back to them twice more. They told me " Your computer will be like new when you get it back " and it was, the Computer Doctor wiped the hard drive, they did manage to save my documents and my pictures, however they gave the computer back to me with the wrong operating system they had deleted Microsoft 10 which was the upgrade from eight. When I received it back From the Computer Doctor operating system eight was now on the Computer. I had told the technician when I brought it in that the operating system was 10. When they asked when I initially brought it in. I brought it back and they put the operating system 10 back on however it was not a system that worked correctly. The OS wiped out my drivers for the CD DVD player. The driver for the camera also was wiped out. So back my computer goes for the third time. Somehow during the third time all of there was a password put on the FiOS. My understanding from them was that without that password they could not fix it. I did not go into the FiOS and put a password so now I have a computer worthless computer. And having to put out for a new computer. Which was three times the amount of money I paid them to check my system because it was slow to begin with Oh, they were nice enough to give me my money back, but had to spend more to Buy a new computer. read more

I took my computer in for virus/malware/adware removal. I got it back the same day, brought it home, and found it still had all the problems that I brought it in with. For this "service" I paid $100. I finally went on internet/YouTube and figured out how to fix it myself. If they had used my computer and logged onto the internet for even five minutes, they would have seen the pop up ads all over the place.
