Super straight-forward and honest service. I will never go back to the Apple Store and wait in those long lines. They are an Apple-Registered business and these guys are Apple experts. Horrible customer service... I highly and I am not bs when I say DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE‼. I came to get my Mac fixed first because of a display issue. I knew that they couldn't fix so they would have to send it off to Apple. I asked the guy helping me to help me factory reset my computer because I don't want my information all on display while it's getting fixed at Apple. This man turns around and tries to charge me $65 to do a factory that anybody with a brain and a phone could easily google and do themselves. Mind you I have apple care and he still tries to charge me it up front. Like what the point of AppleCare then....Like are you serious right now like is this how you treat you customers. This guy also had a attitude for no reason and I didn't feel welcomed into the atmosphere there and I didn't even get a simple "hello" when I entered the store. This store lacks a lot in customer service skills. How dare you walk around like you know how to do your job and you can barely do the basics of customer service. So I start doing the factory reset myself and he tells me I can't use their WiFi to reset it. Next I get upset because clearly they don't know how to do their job and he couldn't even just guide me through the process because I was already frustrated that I was seeing purple vertical lines on my screen. I storm out of the store and contacted Apple support and let them know what's going on and Apple sent me the repair box the next day. And my computer was fixed and repaired the day after they got it. Moral of the story is screw this company and it crappy workers. Take your computers, phones, etc, straight to Apple. Never do business with this company because they are a scam and don't know how to do their jobs but want to charge high prices to do the simplest things. I came in with an issue that would have cost me $500 to resolve with Apple, and instead he helped me avoid that and gave me an alternative "loophole" solution to my problem that completely fixed my computer at almost no cost at all. Broke my iPhone XS Max screen and Apple customer support scheduled me to go in to computer village for a screen replacement since they didn't have immediate availability at their store. Went in a little late for the appointment but was not an issue, impressions of the place were great as it is very clean and organized. They were able to take care of me right away even tho I was late for my appointment. The best thing was they fixed my phone super quick even tho they had asked for 1-2 hours with the phone they did it in about 25 minutes. The tech also told me I don't need an appointment for future visits and I could come in at my convenience for service on anything Mac. Definitely recommend this place. read more

I had been going to Computer Village for years for my Mac issues. They had always been great. Pedro is super knowledgeable and helpful. So I took my ipad there for repairs. The glass had broken. They tried to fix it three times...actually damaged the ipad while trying to fix it...and then would not refund my money. Instead, they made up some story that I had dropped the ipad (which I absolutely did not!) and that's what had broken the ipad. I never write bad reviews on any business...but I felt so betrayed and victimized that I felt compelled to. I WILL NEVER EVER RETURN THERE and have made it a point of telling my story to everyone so they don't get screwed like I did. I am out an ipad and $200 for the repair. The worst customer service ever by the manager. Save your money and your time. Go elsewhere. You'll thank me. read more

These people are NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!!! I went in with my dead iPad and they offered me two alternatives: buy a new iPad for $700+ or refurbish for $200+! My grandson told me to hold the start button and the home button at the same time for 10 seconds and the problem was solved. They made NO attempt to solve the problem!! read more

I feel ripped off! My Apple MAC was having problems so I googled Apple Stores by my house in order to get my Mac repaired. This Village store popped up near me so I made an appointment. When I arrived I knew right away that it was not an Apple store. When I walked in there was maybe 1 other customer there. The person at the front has zero customer service skills. I explained what was wrong with the computer and he wrote it all down and told me that I needed to pay 79 dollars for the diagnostic. I asked him if I took the lap top to a real Apple store would they charge me for a diagnostic and he said that he didn't know. YEA RIGHT! Since time was of the essence I reluctantly left the laptop with this guy who seemed to just want me to drop off the laptop and leave. Every question that I asked him seemed to be bothering him. I left the store with a bad feeling. Well 2 days later I got a call from them. When I spoke to the tech he told me that the repair was gonna cost me 700 dollars and asked if I wanted him to repair it. I asked him if in his expert opinion he thought it would be a good deal to repair it or just buy another. He actually did tell me that buying a new one was probably a better option, which I appreciated. I then asked him not to fix it. Then he asked me if I wanted to back up my pictures and told me that it would cost me 170 dollars to do that. I told him that price was ridiculous and he actually agreed with me. He then Compared it to a car mechanic saying that since he doesn't know about cars he has to pay whatever they say. Once they have you on the hook for the 75 dollars then u are at their mercy. My biggest problem is that I googled Apple Stores near me and this rip off store came up. After the fact I called Apple and asked them if they charge for a diagnostic and they told me that they normally do not. Do yourselves a favor and STAY AWAY from this store! read more

Great experience with Computer Village - not because of anything special, but because everything was exactly as they said it would be. It seems like they are so comfortable with who they are and what they do, they don't need pretense. Not cocky, either, by the way. They are an Apple/Mac product store - buying from them is exactly the same as purchasing direct from Apple. The only thing that has high frustration potential is the horrible parking situation. I'm not sure if you can park in the Starbucks lot or not, but if not, and their lot (if you can call it that - but not their fault) is full, it would be easy to blow off the visit. my macbook died and it was obsolete as Apple tends to do, so i swung by computer village. They confirmed the bad news that the computer was unsalvageable, and steered me in the right direction for a great replacement. Jose helped me out And transferred everything from one computer to the other for a fair price , and kept me posted every step of the way. This store was recommended to me by my company IT department, so I was expecting good service. Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow, of poor quality and generally unfriendly. I brought my new ipad in for replacement of a cracked screen and was told I'd have it back within 3 days. The repair actually took two weeks (nobody called to say they weren't on schedule. I only found out by making a wasted trip to pick up the ipad when it was originally supposed to be ready). Worse, when i did get the ipad back, the screen was not working properly. I had to take it back to be replaced again. Ultimately, it took 4 weeks to have the screen replaced, and the service guys seemed annoyed that they had to do the extra work. I was given a small discount for the extra time that it took, but only because I insisted. They gave the discount reluctantly. Just poor service. If they wanted to keep a customer, they should deliver what they promise within the timeframe they promise. If they can't deliver -- and that happens sometimes, of course -- they should at least acknowledge as much and apologize for the inconvenience. I will not go back and would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I was so excited to get my laptop fixed by these guys after the apple store referred me to them due to their inability to fix my vintage macbook (2010). I called in earlier that AM to ask them if they can do it (already diagnosed problem). I was advised that they could. Got off work early just to handle this. Because I need this done before next semester. I walk in to be greeted by a man at the front desk. I had to squeeze between two socializing women sitting at their reception area to take out my laptop and advise them it has already been diagnosed. I wasn't interested in some $65 diagnostic fee when I already had a long genuis bar visit the day before. (They do apply it towards the repair.) He immediately told me he can sell me a battery, and charger but cannot fix my inverter cables due to "apple not manufacturing the parts anymore." Meanwhile they are online all for under $20. Then he advised me that I can leave my macbook for three days while they try to pull parts from older models that theyre about to "trash." And fixing mine would cost around $400 for everything. I thought to myself, "why so pricey for used materials?"All within less than 5mins I got the message loud & clear. That I need to throw away my laptop and buy a new one. And he proceeded to help people browsing their floor models. I know my computer is an older model but it always got repairs, updates, refurbished, etc. It is annoying feeling like your device is considered crap. Plus maybe I could have been convinced to get a newer model if I got better service. Trying elsewhere tomorrow. read more

So this is my first review ever on Yelp... I felt the need to write one about this store and the gentleman who helped me.. Kevin. After being told at Best Buy and the Apple Store they could do nothing for me, I arrived here. My computer would not turn on. And with about ten years of my children's lives in photos inside of it and no back up I was literally dying inside. As soon as I walked in I met Kevin.
