TLDR; iTWorks is incompetent…read more I've been a Mac person my entire life, but about four years ago, I built my first Windows gaming PC by following a YouTube video. I know just enough about hardware to be dangerous. The PC ran more or less flawlessly until a couple weeks ago, when in the middle of moving into a new house, the PC refused to boot up. I tried power cycling the system about a dozen times, and checked the connections. Nothing worked, so I took it to iTWorks to have it diagnosed, since I was too busy with moving to deal with it any further. The person I spoke with said that they usually deal with laptops, which typically take 3-5 business days to diagnose. With full-on PCs, it could take a bit longer. They charged me $80 up front, and I left the PC with them. Six days later, I got a call from them. They said they had narrowed the problem down to either the video card or the motherboard. They had ordered some kind of diagnostic tool that would zero in on the culprit, and it would be just another day or so before it would be ready to pick up. Four days later, I hadn't gotten any further calls from them, so I called back, and they said they're still waiting on that part. It should be in today, maybe tomorrow. Three days later, I checked in again, and was given the same status. Don't call us; we'll call you. A full week later, I ran out of patience and stopped by to pick up the PC, since at this point I had more time to fiddle with it. They brought it out, no questions asked, and said I was good to go. I thought it was rather odd that they let it go without even mentioning that their diagnosis was incomplete. As soon as I left the shop, I got an email saying "We are pleased to inform you that your repair is complete and your device is now ready for pickup." Again, odd. When I got it home, the PC was still not working, which I expected. I swapped the video card out for another one, but it didn't help. So I decided to replace the motherboard with a cheap used one from eBay. I found one made by a different manufacturer that looked like it would be comparable. Just to be sure it would work, I checked out the manufacturer's website. Scrolling down the page, I noticed that one of the features of this motherboard is a set of 4 LED diagnostic lights that indicate problems with the CPU, RAM, video card, and boot device. Huh. I wondered if my motherboard had the same feature. It did. I powered the computer on, and the LED for the RAM stayed lit. Huh. I hadn't checked the RAM before. I pulled the chips out and rebooted. Same problem. So I put them back in, swapping their positions. It booted up like nothing was ever wrong. So the problem was probably just that the RAM chips weren't properly seated. Shame on you, iTWorks. I didn't know about the existence of the four diagnostic LEDs, but once I did, it took me under a minute to fix the problem. You're the IT professionals, so you should have known about those lights, since it turns out it's a pretty standard feature on motherboards. And then to keep me waiting for three weeks with no resolution in sight! I think I deserve a refund.

I then brought my phone to batteries plus bulbs. They changed out the earpiece speaker and got my phone working again for 40$. A simple google search of my phone's symptoms told me that it was the earpiece speaker. I would highly recommend taking your devices to batteries plus bulbs instead of these guys.

It features everything a LAN center should. As you walk in, you see an arrangement of computers to play on, and a help desk. There are posters everywhere and 104.7 is playing in the background. The people working there are hilarious, and actually know a ton about computers. The store even repairs computers and sells them on occasion. They have a lot of computer parts to buy also, so Krazee Zeeks becomes an all around computer oasis. They do tournaments often, and they are a lot of fun. People have teams they make, they match clothing, and there is great prizes like gift cards and cash. The computer rate is great compared to its previous competitors at 3$ an hour. The gaming section is split into 2 sections. The first section is in the area where the door and front counter are, and they are visible right when you walk in. The computers are spread out a good amount but they are organized to help groups stay close and communicate better. The second section in the back, and it is dark with glow lights, and the keyboards are all lit up in different colors. The owner is a great guy, and he plays most of the games that people in his store play. One tournament my friends and I went to was hosted by the owner, and we all wore the same T shirts with a joke on the back. He gave us free snacks for it. Krazee Zeeks is a great replacement for the old LAN centers and it should satisfy all of the lonesome gamers.
