Been coming here off and on and when they are open the bartenders have been great. However, the owner can't figure out when to open or when to staff so it's randomly closed with no notice. I was recently there on a Friday night after work around 3 and, as previous mentioned, the bartender working was amazing. Nothing but sweet, attentive, and made good drinks. But the night ended on a bad note when the owner came in and started reprimanding her in front of guests with no regard and then continued to belittle her and say how he was shutting down to rearrange for the club Hispanic night that he paid $15,000 for the band. He made sure to say how much he paid in front of the guests and called his bartender a child. We then overheard a not private conversation, after he told us we had to leave because he needed to set up for the club night, between him and another customer saying he wasn't running a charity and wouldn't do any less no matter the story to rent a couch for the club night. The bar is great when it's open, the bartenders are awesome, but the owner really thinks highly of himself and his LA days of owning nightclubs and doesn't care about his staff or any patron that doesn't pay a cover charge to see the bands he books. To add salt to the wound to his claim of saying he can't wait to clear staff in front of us, and his awesome bartender, he parked in the handicap spot and couldn't care less. I have encountered a lot of bad places over the years, and only one other place has led me to write a bad review and that was when the waitstaffs boyfriend and friends tried physically fighting my friends. This industry is hard and i understand that being having been involved in it for years, but this made my skin crawl. Love the staff here but I will never give this guy another penny for how he treats them and how he could care less about his daily customers.

The boast the best Bloody Mary and we had to give them a try. The Bloodies are amazing! So much flavor and spice. Delish! This dive bar has great customer service and was actually pretty quiet when we went. I didn't get a chance to try any food off the menu but will when we go again. Like karaoke? They have that too. Cool little bar and a fantastic Bloody Mary!

For those that have givin negative reviews, good luck in your millennial inflated life, your the reason for rise of costs because you want a silver spoon everytime. Get with reality. This bar is perfect do not change it. Great live band, Food is on point, quality cook.

Had to fix the owner's spelling, bartenders are awesome but it's like sitting in a airport lounge with really really bad karaoke singers.

Is there still karaoke Friday nights?

Yes, karaoke every Friday going from 8pm until close. On very rare occasions (and -as of Dec '17- I think that it's been over a year since last), they'll have a live band on a Friday night.

I can proudly say I have tried quite a few things on the menu already and have not been disappointed. I'd say at this point my brother and I have been here over 5 times. We even brought our parents here twice already. Once for dinner and once for breakfast. My brother and I have done breakfast, lunch and dinner at this point. The first item I tried was the Sun-Dried Tomato Rigatoni. This was so creamy and delicious (later found out you cam add another meat). Which my mom tried her first time around with Salmon. She said it was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. From that first pasta, I tried the March Month Special, I got the chopped cheese with no cheese (lactose intolerant) but man did I devour it so fast!! There tater tots never miss btw ALWAYS crispy. The Grilled Chicken Sando, mannn was thay superr good too. Chicken was juicy and always love me some avocado. I told my brother I am going to make it a priority to try everything I cam here. Also, the presentation on the plates ESPECIALLY the Fresno 1/2 Chicken *chefs kiss* The service is NEVER misses. Soo attentive no matter the time of day. Tony's drinks are UH-MAY-ZING. We had Mckellen as our server and he was great. The biggest shoutout to James (the owner) seems like he knows how to create a phenomenal work environment and keeps his people happy. We've seen him walk around often and checking in. You can definitely see thay he cares. I HIGHLY recommend coming here if you have the chance. Also, try the Espresso Martini my brother who is far from a coffee drinker even loves it!!

It was busy during lunch but we were lucky and snagged a booth. The menu offers classic diner fare - all day breakfast items, burgers, sandwiches, soups, and salads. First off, Im 100% sure the owner here uses ChatGPT to answer all negative yelp reviews. Any business owner worth their weight is able to think for themselves and use their brain to answer unless they're completely illiterate or too incompetent to think of a good response. Second off, are they even a brewery? I see cans and taps of their own beer, but looking into the business, I dont think they own a brewery at all. This is more along the lines of a taphouse/pub. THAT BEING SAID, the food is quite nice. I think the pizza is great and it feels like they make and roll their own dough which is respectable and ambitious for a random little spot like this. But It is quiet...too quiet. The beer tender would constantly hangout at the handicap table talking to any co-worker with free time on their hands for a long time. Seems like a cushy job honestly. I'm assuming they would hold conversation with customers, but unfortunately There were no customers... its a ghost town, and i left thinking, "This place is creepy." Because Draft Republic is a rough place to quantify. The food is pretty good; if going off that alone, this place would easily be four stars in my eyes. But, it's not ... Draft Republic is trying to be a bit closer to like a mini Dave & Buster's (a place I have come pretty close to loathing). With an arcade, a bowling alley, a golfing simulator, a full bar, pretty extensive menu, good music, and a fantastic staff, they really have a lot going for them with a little something to make anyone happy. My own issue deals solely with the cost. Came here with my son, all we did was eat two entrees and an appetizer between us, and did nothing else. With drink and after tax and tip, the cost was well over $90. No games, no play, just burgers (plus fries and poke tacos) for two, costs as much as many Californian's net after a full day of work. When you're used to feeding the whole family for about half as much when going out (or a little more when eating sushi), that price was a bit rough. Still, the food is very good. My son and I each ate The Draft Republic Burger. It was perfectly cooked, juicy, very flavorful, and the toppings were high quality. The fries were crisp and salted well. And the side salad wasn't too bad. Both of us ate our entrees and gave it high marks. We had started with the Tres Poke Tacos, where the Tuna was very tasty, steeped in a flavorful marinade, and felt nice and fresh. Definitely a good starter. And the restaurant itself is gorgeous. A lot of space, beautifully furnished, kind of industrial meets art deco with some new age greenery architecture thrown in. I like it a lot. But, as an aging Gen-X'er, who used to go to arcades back in the day, and hates what new arcades have become, the amenities are under appreciated by me. All of that pads the price tag a bit out of what I am willing to pay just for dinner. Which may not be fair to Draft Republic, but that's where it left me.

We found free parking on the street a block or two down from the restaurant. Service (4/5): You order at the counter and then they bring your food to you. A couple of things stand out to me about their service. I was looking at the menu and was about to order. Someone behind me cut in line without asking if I was ready to order. The lady working noticed this and asked me to order first. Humanity still exists! They also check on your periodically even though this isn't true table service which is a nice touch. On the flip side, they did try and upsell me to add bacon bits to my dish which I was all for until I saw it was a $3.50 upcharge. I asked them to remove it. A little too steep. Ambiance (4/5): My type of restaurant. Casual with some charm. We sat at a table across from the bar. They have some cool decor, too. No complaints. Drinks (4/5): I had a beer flight because I often can't say no to a flight. I love the variety and being able to try new beers, especially when I'm traveling. While they don't have a huge selection, they had just enough beers that were interesting for me to take the plunge. Food (4/5): I did the country poutine which comes with fries, gravy, fried chicken bites, and green onions. I'm a sucker for loaded fries so I couldn't say no. Especially for this twist on a classic poutine. Generous portion size as I had hoped. A little more chicken would have been nice, but outside of that, very solid.
