We were looking for a place to eat near SoFi Stadium that wasn't overly priced and was popular with locals, and Con Huevos Cafe kept coming up--so we decided to try it, and we're so glad we did. The location is very convenient, especially if you're heading to or from the stadium. Despite it being a busy weekend, we were impressed with how quickly we were seated. The service was efficient and welcoming from the start. I ordered the Mole Chilaquiles, which had the perfect balance of sweetness with a nice kick of spice--I absolutely loved them. We also shared the Gorditas de Chicharrón, which were delicious, slightly spicy, and came with a side of salsa. My boyfriend says those were his favorite dish. He also ordered the Norteño Eggs and was really impressed. The chorizo added a great twist, and we appreciated that they used pieces of queso fresco instead of just shredding it on top--it made the dish feel more authentic and thoughtfully prepared. Overall, a great spot with amazing food, fair prices, and a convenient location. We'd definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting the area

Went here for brunch and enjoyed it very much. The food was delicious. I had the Vuelve A La Vide plate (with added steak) which had everything I wanted and more. It was so flavorable and cooked exactly how I wanted. My boyfriend had Chilaquiles. He thought they were pretty good but could've been spicier! The green sauce on top had a little too much lime as well. Horchata came in a small glass for the price but very tasty. For being lunch hour, the service was a little slow, I think the waitresses need a hostess seating people to take the pressure off of the orders. Overall, I would definitely recommend and will be coming here again!

We ordered 2 types of the chilaquiles red and green the green one came out dry Server had ask if we wanted natural orange juice or jug orange juice and we had ordered and paid for natural orange juice and it tastes it mixed with orange juice from jug and pulp from the orange natural juice".we tried the "iced coffee she offered us de la holla" or regular coffee and we said regular coffee and basically is coffee with ice no flavor,and they bring you the creamer it taste disgusting, it's only one server so she gets busy and plain she doesn't smile [[HIGHLIGHT]]the place looks clean spacious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Really enjoyed my breakfast here! [[HIGHLIGHT]]As soon as we walked in, I noticed the awesome ambiance from the huge tv screen on the wall, the colorful papel picado hanging from the ceiling, and the neon signs lit up on the walls.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was pretty busy but we put our names on the list and got seated within 5 minutes. Our waiter gave us a heads up that they had a few large groups that morning. He actually let us know that he put in our order before theirs just so the kitchen can knock ours out real quick first. Thought that was really cool of them to do. I saw the chilaquiles torta on the menu and had to try it. It was pretty spicy but was so good. I also ordered an iced cafe de la olla which wasn't bad. Honestly, I wish I had ordered more just to try other things on the menu but the portion sizes were already good. I'll definitely be coming back!

This is my second time coming here. The service is good and fast. The food is good, we got chilaquiles Rojos, Sopes de Carne Asada, and Chicken Enchiladas. Everything was good. We also got two Cafe De Olla, they were pretty sweet. My mom got a Regular Coffee. The ambience is very cute, it's decorated with a lot of Mexican decor and the music is good.

Come early Friday morning and it was pretty empty. The chilaquiles were good. The chips I wish were fresher but they were still good. The green sauce I wish I could have taken home. We went here for a work breakfast. Parking was super easy at 8 am on a Friday which isn't the case in LA, so I already knew the vibes were good going in. The restaurant was large and empty (we got there super early) but the decor felt warm and inviting, although a bit mix matched. We ordered an assortment of plates, and I got the chilaquiles torta. My dish was the last to arrive at our table of seven, because they apparently make the bread from scratch? I don't know, but the food coming 10-15 mins later than the rest of my team was kinda awkward Anywho, the food was okay. Not the best chilaquiles I've had, but the bread was definitely the best part of my meal. Service was.... slow, but I'm sure running the front alone is tough!

A Hidden Gem Near LAX! I stopped in for brunch the food was delicious and flavorful. The prices were more than fair for the quality. I had the Divorced eggs, and it hit the spot perfectly. Service was equally impressive friendly, attentive, and fast, even during the morning rush. You can tell the staff really cares about your experience. Overall, a fantastic spot I'll definitely return to whenever I'm near LAX. Highly recommended!

I couldn't find anything negative to say about this place. Finally came in to try it. Brought my 90 year old mom. We both ordered chilaquiles. Hers with red sauce, my order with green sauce and without crema and cheese. One order could feed at least 2 people. The young lady that served us was sweet and polite. Parking was easy. For a Monday morning around 8:30, it had a good amount of customers. Bonus, clean bathroom! read more

I use to come here twice month. But lately quality of food has been going down. Today we spent $120 for 5 meals. However, the rice was bad. I took it to the server so she can smell it. She even knew it was bad. For rice to be bad, it must been 1 week old. Also the chicken was not cooked today, must have been 2 days. To top it off, i went myself for chilaquiles. The bottom of my plate was the crumbs. It used to be good. There are some days that are good but today was all bad. They didnt even apologize or try to offer a discount. Our server said we were the only one to complain. But its not even a complaint. Its about quality food if one is paying close to $20 per meal. I hope the owner reads this as i know he values his customer feedback for his business. If you decide to eat, just double check your meal, make sure its not spoil. ( ps. The food was great, delicious and tasty. We came here for brunch, there was 2 other tables filled so it was not busy. It was only one waitress and she did her job. Not everyone makes cafe de la holla that great so we asked for a sample, and she had a hesitation... not like, let me see, or one sec she just walked away. She brought the cutest little taza, but No oomph to her service but she took our order, brought the food took our plates and brought the bill. So we got things done. The chilaquiles were not spicy but had a good taste. My mom was able to eat them and she does not do spicy at all. The tres leches was not overpowering with sweetness. Food portioning was very small, it also did not match the price for amount of food you receive. We also came in on a mother's day, and we barely saw the waiter, nor were they attentive to our table. Finally a place in the area like this! They just opened up 2 weeks ago and I love how the community is backing this business up! The name is catchy and the vibes is hip AND the food backs it up. First your greeted with self seating and then a nice bowl of homemade chips and beans. If a place greets you with beans then you know you've hit a home spot! Here the staff wears multiple roles and that shows humbleness and hustle! We love how they would ask how was everything and would ensure we were enjoying it. It's as if they gave them more energy ! So enjoy time with your company while things come to your table, that's what we were able to do and it was great ! The chilaquiles is what you can tell they are known for so I of course got the red ones. The textures was soft but crunchy, not drowned in salsa with 2 perfectly over easy eggs. It was well balanced My husband had El Classico with 2 eggs any style with fresh fruit, 1 sausage, 1 bacon, French toast and house potatoes. Their house potatoes are traditional papas Mexicana, with red salsa tossed and onion VERY well made! And the fruit so fresh! Their cafe de olla is well balanced of the traditional way. Sweet and light, you can ask for creamer if you like. They are open M+ T 8:30 am -4pm and TH-SUN 8 am-4pm! Perfect! We can't wait to come back and keep trying the menu read more

Food was ok. Had the chilaquiles & coffee. Small Portion of beans. Service was off, they have a sign upfront that says please wait to be seated. I waited like 10 Minutes, waitress and girl At bar booth looked at me gave no acknowledgement, continued waiting till finally some guy cane and sat me in one of the tables. The place has been open for a few months now however it seems they're still on step 1. Not enough signage that location is open. Walking in seems like a huge cafeteria with a lot of empty space. Staff: only 1 man serving. No smile. No, thank you for being here, No, I will be with you in a minute. Food: No sizzle ... No smoke. I ordered the Classic, Bacon prob cooked prior. Potatoes not my liking. Eggs overly cooked. Plate is not even big however portions are small. I only ate the egg and sausage. For breakfast, I was pretty annoyed with the pop music being so loud. You'll be disappointed with the food and then you'll be on Yelp giving your bad review once you get the bill. The location is right. It's on a main Street and parking was not a problem. The interior is nicely decorated, modern and spacious. The music was not too loud that you can't hear yourselves speak. It was set just right and has variety. So there's potential here for a good time. The menu has catchy names for the food and the food items seem promising. The food, however was very "blah" if that were a flavor. It was nothing special and certainly didn't merit that gourmet price tag. We had breakfast here for 4. The food isn't bad, but it isn't great either. It's edible. Hubby added steak (arrachera) and they gave him ground beef. I had machaca and eggs. I think I don't know what I are because it certainly wasn't machaca. The flour tortillas are those "mission" flour tortillas. They give you two and more is extra. A regular cup of black coffee is $4. The French toast was chewy and bland. No butter or flavor. Just dry yellow bread with confectioners sugar. You'll leave unsatisfied. As for the service, it's like the food. Which is too bad because you'll want to like the place. Not worth a return for us read more

No free refills on the cafe de olla it's ok though food was good. It's best to go early in the morning ... it starts getting busier at 9am . We got there at 8:30am. First time in the Greater LA area. I found this place on here (Yelp), and I'm glad we tried it. The food was great, a little on the spicy side but great. The Cafe de Olla is delicious. Prices are fair. Our server was also great; was very friendly, patient and welcoming. He recommended a few other places for dinner around the area. I decided to give it a second chance to this restaurant since last bad visit, well unfortunately this is one of the worst food I had in a long time way over priced very little portions and food was cold like icebreaker, I won't ever come back or recommend it to any body Norms restaurant is 200% way better and less expensive and better service, And sad that when you let the team members know of the situation t she got defensive and said to me I am just the server. Food was great. My friend ordered the chilaquiles and I had the torta de chilaquiles. The torta was a game changer for me since I never had anything like that. Usually it's with carne asada, but this was chilaquiles so good. Flavor was there for sure. I would order it again. We both enjoyed our dish. The service was alright. I ordered the Best Avocado Toast, and while it wasn't bad, it's hard to justify the price. At the end of the day, it's avocado on toast, and I've honestly had more flavorful versions elsewhere for less money. The smoked salmon toast was also underwhelming. The salmon surprisingly lacked much of that smoky flavor, and the bread felt thicker than the toppings themselves, making the balance a little off. The shrimp Tom Yum soup was probably my biggest disappointment. At $14, I expected something with bold, authentic flavors. Instead, it tasted fairly basic. It had the citrusy notes you'd expect, but it was sweeter than I prefer, likely because of the amount of cherry tomatoes used. The service is where things became frustrating. We waited around 20 minutes before our order was taken, then roughly another 30 minutes before food started coming out. What made it more frustrating was that everything arrived at completely different times. The matcha latte came first, then the Tom Yum soup, and it was another 20 minutes before the rest of the entrées arrived. We ended up waiting so everyone could eat together instead of one person eating while everyone else watched. Normally I don't mind waiting if a restaurant is busy, but based on many of the Yelp reviews, this doesn't seem like a one-time occurrence. A common theme is that there's only one server running the dining room. Our waitress was friendly and polite, but she was clearly overwhelmed, juggling six or more tables by herself. I don't blame her--I blame the staffing. At one point I even watched someone wait over 30 minutes for two specialty drinks because the server was busy with other tables. That really summed up the experience. If the food had completely blown me away, I could overlook the long wait. Unfortunately, the flavors were simply average, so the overall experience didn't justify the prices or the time spent waiting. Would I come back? Probably not. I'm glad I gave it a try because it's a nice-looking café, but with average food, premium prices, and consistently slow service, there just wasn't enough to make me want to return.

I'm so glad my husband found Con Huevos! This place is a true neighborhood gem. The name itself is catchy, and the restaurant's decor is a mix of modern style with a nod to classic Mexican culture, featuring vintage film actors and two catrinas. We easily found parking right out front. From the moment we arrived, the service was welcoming and friendly. We were seated promptly, and the atmosphere was perfect--casual, relaxed, and with great Mexican music playing softly in the background. It was just loud enough to set the mood but still allowed for easy conversation. For my meal, I had the churro French toast with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and it was absolutely delicious--incredibly soft and perfectly balanced in sweetness. My husband, who loves a little heat, was thrilled with his huevos rancheros and tamal de elote, both of which were perfectly spicy. Our drinks were just as good: a rich chocomilk and banana licuado for me, and a hot, sweet café de olla for him. The food and drinks came out quickly and were fantastic. I went to this restaurant for the first time on Mexican Mother's Day; unfortunately, my experience was not the best. The restaurant wasn't bustling when I arrived, but I had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated because no one greeted me when I arrived. Once seated, I noticed only two waiters were working for the entire restaurant, which made the service quite slow. I heard great things about the Cafe de Olla, but I found it way too sweet for my taste. I ended up ordering an orange juice. As for the food, it was okay but nothing special or memorable.
