Hidden at the back of a lawndale shopping center is a hidden gem, a crepe shop! Was craving a sweet treat and stumbled apon this place after doing a yelp search for desserts. I looove a crepe and can be a bit picky as some places make then too dry or too wet. This crepe was perfection, and still kept its crispy texture. I ordered a strawberry crepe and it came out soo pretty looking. The service was quick and friendly. One women working the counter and quickly whipped up my crepe. The place is huuuge and yhe perfect place to study at,they do have reported free wifi. I will definitely come back to study here as the music is low and the vibes are calm. My go to place if I ever crave a crepe :)

This place is such a treat and a hidden gem tucked away in a small plaza corner. I've been coming here for years and I just came by again today. They've invested into this place with more seating and a minimal but welcoming vibe. The younger guy and lady working here make the best crepes!

My daughter woke up craving a crepe and found this place on Yelp. The crepe was so delicious, fresh and well made, it did take about 15-20 min for our crepe to be ready but honestly I don't mind the place is very nice. Place is really clean, outside the tables are shaded and the sitting is comfortable. I'm just debating if I would be back because when we walked in we weren't greeted EVER! We looked at the menu for a bit and when we were ready to order a guy just walked up to the register, no hi, no good morning, just looked at me even after I said good morning he didn't reply. Put our order in, again no thank you no nothing he didn't even ask if it was for here or to go. No smile nothing!! After waiting for our crepe I realized he never asked if it was for here or to go so I walked up to the lady making them to let her know and she was very nice. Again I'm so conflicted about the service because everything else was very good

Portions are amazing! Flavor is delightful!

This place is a hidden gem right in my backyard. Cute vibe inside and plenty of seating. Sweet and savory crepe options with a host of other things to try. I can not wait to go back and bring more of family. Simply delicious. Fresh ingredients, and packed with flavor!

Delicious! We tried their Nutella and Strawberry Crepe and I really have no complaints. I'm on a sugar hiatus at the moment, but hope to visit again soon.

what a hidden gem this place is. Im surprised it doesn't have more patrons. It opens early and closest late. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seatings with ample and relaxed environment. The joy critique would be, they should wipe down the patio seatings on a daily basis. The order was placed at the counter. The order was made freshly from scratch, which it could take slightly longer to prepare. The food was brought to the table utensils. The presentation of the crepe was beautiful. And it tasted scrumptious. I really enjoyed their side salad along with the crepe. Their house espresso was very good too. Definitely try it out. The music level is medium low, presented a very relaxed dining experience. And a good place to chill with friends or study alone. This place gets a 4.7 out of 5. Will visit again!

Great family owned business with delicious crepes. I went on Friday night and it was very empty. The owners were so gracious and thankful that we were there. I will definitely be back for dessert more often. There are plenty of tables and it is very quiet inside.

I understand that with new business there will be new challenges. I love the new ambiance. However this place has turned into a to go spot in my opinion. Unfortunately they don't have enough people working to get the job done after a holiday. Additionally the eggs were over cooked in my crepe and it was t as expected. I'm not sure if I can go back, I didn't feel like my strawberry banana had enough bananas as well. I really wanted to continue to like the food and service but not the same with and higher prices

DELICIOUS FOOD!! Amazing service and a cozy, quiet ambiance. I came here yesterday and I'm already back again today. My boyfriend and I love coming here to study -- it's seriously the perfect spot. The two ladies working were very sweet and welcoming, and they offer free Wi-Fi, which is a huge plus. Okay, now let's talk about the crepes Yesterday we tried the Fresh Apples & Cinnamon crepe, and it was soooo good. The perfect amount of sweet. I honestly thought it might be a little dry, but trust me -- it's not at all. There's a cinnamon sauce inside that makes it perfect. You have to try it. The fruit was super fresh and great quality. Today we tried the Chicken Pesto crepe, and this was my first time ever having a savory crepe... SO GOOD. It comes with cheese, grilled chicken, and pesto, plus a side spinach salad with feta, tomatoes, and dressing. The chicken was very well cooked -- moist, tender, and not dry at all -- which honestly made the whole dish even better. Everything tasted fresh, and the portion was super filling. I was really impressed. I don't know why this place isn't busier because the food is amazing!!I'll definitely keep coming back to study and enjoy some really good food. 10/10 recommend -- you need to try this place.

So glad we ran across this crepe place! We ordered two crepes, one savory and one sweet to go. The service was excellent, crepes delicious, and the atmosphere was inviting and esthetically pleasing. It's so nice that my daughter decided to hold her bridesmaid luncheon there.

Cool little spot with affordable crepes, I got my lady a crepe and it was very nicely decorated and well made very fancy, got myself an avocado and egg sandwich with multiple choices for bread. The restaurant is overall very clean, organized and has a very relaxed and bright vibe inside or outside. The workers are very kind and make sure to take care of you.

Came for some delicious crepes and was not disappointed. We got both sweet and savory and recommend both. Wife, son and I went on a Saturday afternoon. It was pretty empty with a fair amount of indoor and outdoor seating. We each ordered a savory crepe and we shared a sweet one. It was probably too much food but we almost ate all 4 between the 3 of us. The crepe itself is so light and airy, like a thin buttermilk pancake. A hint of sweetness to it but not actually sweet. The portion sizes are pretty generous and the side salad was nice. All the ingredients tasted super fresh and you can customize your Crepe if you don't like any of the options on the menu. The only downside to our experience was how long it took. The woman at the counter was very sweet, but she was the only one working when we were there. She finished an order for a family of 4 before she even took our order. We waited about 15-20 minutes to finally place our order and then another 20 to get it. Not her fault at all, but whoever staffs may get more customers if they could serve them. Overall enjoyed the experience and would recommend if you're in the mood for crepes, just make sure you have some time nervous Hope you enjoy!

This would have easily been a 5-star review if I hadn't gotten sick the last time I ate here…read more I ordered the vegan breakfast burrito (the Vegana Toast made into a burrito) with vegan bacon, and it was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, about 10 minutes after eating it, I got sick. My guess is that something may have been off with the Just Egg, but I can't say for sure. The mini waffles were a disappointment. They seemed deep-fried, smelled heavily of grease, and weren't soft at all. They even left the bag soaked with grease. On the positive side, the vegan BLT was phenomenal--super flavorful, unique, and one of the best vegan sandwiches I've had. I really want to give this place another chance because the food has so much potential, but I'm honestly still a little hesitant after my last experience.

Finding the entrance was a little confusing because it's very unassuming. I expected it to be on the side of the building facing the street, but it's actually tucked away in the back, facing the parking lot and the Courtyard Marriott. When we walked in, the place was packed. Keep in mind it's a very small café, so with that many people inside, it got pretty warm and felt cramped. We overheard the hostess tell the group ahead of us that the wait would be about 45 minutes. Rather than wait in such a tight space, we decided to order takeout instead. I ordered the Build Your Own Omelette: 3 eggs with spinach, onions, tomatoes, cheese, potatoes, and toast, along with the Golden Milk Latte made with turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, clove, cardamom, nutmeg, black pepper, and their house-made Madagascar vanilla bean syrup. We took our food back to the car and enjoyed breakfast there while the Tesla finished charging. It ended up being much more comfortable than waiting inside. The hostess seemed a bit overwhelmed, but considering how busy it was and how small the restaurant is, it was understandable.

After seeing the great reviews, I decided to give Toast & Thai a try. Unfortunately, my experience…read morewas just okay. I didn't leave disappointed, but I also didn't leave feeling like I'd want to come back. The restaurant itself is clean, modern, and has a nice atmosphere. It feels like one of those places where you'd meet up with friends, relax, and chat for a while. Visually, it makes a great first impression. The food, however, was average. I ordered the Best Avocado Toast, and while it wasn't bad, it's hard to justify the price. At the end of the day, it's avocado on toast, and I've honestly had more flavorful versions elsewhere for less money. The smoked salmon toast was also underwhelming. The salmon surprisingly lacked much of that smoky flavor, and the bread felt thicker than the toppings themselves, making the balance a little off. The shrimp Tom Yum soup was probably my biggest disappointment. At $14, I expected something with bold, authentic flavors. Instead, it tasted fairly basic. It had the citrusy notes you'd expect, but it was sweeter than I prefer, likely because of the amount of cherry tomatoes used. The service is where things became frustrating. We waited around 20 minutes before our order was taken, then roughly another 30 minutes before food started coming out. What made it more frustrating was that everything arrived at completely different times. The matcha latte came first, then the Tom Yum soup, and it was another 20 minutes before the rest of the entrées arrived. We ended up waiting so everyone could eat together instead of one person eating while everyone else watched. Normally I don't mind waiting if a restaurant is busy, but based on many of the Yelp reviews, this doesn't seem like a one-time occurrence. A common theme is that there's only one server running the dining room. Our waitress was friendly and polite, but she was clearly overwhelmed, juggling six or more tables by herself. I don't blame her--I blame the staffing. At one point I even watched someone wait over 30 minutes for two specialty drinks because the server was busy with other tables. That really summed up the experience. If the food had completely blown me away, I could overlook the long wait. Unfortunately, the flavors were simply average, so the overall experience didn't justify the prices or the time spent waiting. Would I come back? Probably not. I'm glad I gave it a try because it's a nice-looking café, but with average food, premium prices, and consistently slow service, there just wasn't enough to make me want to return.

I stopped in on a Tuesday for lunch and knew I was going to get the curry puffs. The last time I ordered these I was with a friend and had to share but not this time. I was on a solo lunch and looking forward to the puffs! To say they are "perfect" seems insufficient. They were fried incredibly well, hot, crunchy, tasty, but never greasy. And these little puffs were filled with minced beef, potatoes, and seasoning! For my main dish, I chose the dragon noodles (pad thai) with chicken. All the veggies in the dish were cooked perfectly, nothing too mushy, just the right amount of crunch/bite to the cabbage, broccoli, and carrots. And the chicken was chunky! And while I loved everything about the dish, the sprinkling of the crushed peanuts was *chef's kiss*. There's no skimping on those peanuts here. As I write this I'm excited for the leftover noodles waiting for me. When you walk into Sausalido you really do feel welcomed. The space is unassuming in the best way possible. Posters of the drinks they offer (coffee, smoothies, boba) adorn the walls, along with pictures of the various food items they have.
