I understand that Concentra does not tolerate aggressive behavior, and I completely respect that. However, even when you raise a legitimate concern or point out an error, the way you are treated is unacceptable. Yesterday, the doctor who saw me forgot to include my work restrictions on the note I needed to submit to my employer. Because of that mistake, my employer expected me to perform duties I physically could not do. When I called Concentra to explain, the receptionist told me I had to return in person--another 45-minute drive each way despite my pain. When I arrived, they placed me in a room and left me there for over an hour. Only when I complained did the doctor finally come in. She typed a corrected note in about 3-5 minutes and handed it to me. No exam, no questions--she had just seen me less than 18 hours earlier. This is just one example of poor treatment. They did not provide a cane or crutches, so I had to buy my own. They advised me to purchase cooling pads instead of supplying basic medical support. Physical therapy felt like a checklist--they follow a script instead of adjusting to the actual injury. And they delay MRIs as long as possible, wasting weeks of time and the employer's money before taking injuries seriously. Employers should really reconsider partnering with Concentra. The level of inconvenience, inefficiency, and lack of patient care is unacceptable. My experience felt like a waste of time, money, and energy--at the expense of my health. read more

I had to go into this Urgent Care for a sprained ankle today. They take walk-ins from 8am-4pm, and I was in around 1. It takes a while to fill out the 4 pages of paperwork, and then to get called back. This was significantly shorter of a wait than I've experienced at home in Vegas, maybe 20 minutes. Once back, they took my vitals. Waited around 10 minutes for the doctor, then another 10 for an ankle wrap, then ~5 for my outbound papers. It was a decently quick visit, given Urgent Care's usually take a while. The staff was super kind to me, and very professional. The clinic was very clean. As far as price, I'm not sure since it should be covered by my insurance. The only downside is the limited Open hours. read more

Came in here for a Drug screen and physical. These guys used an at-home blood pressure kit to take blood pressure on my forearm. They got three different results inconsistent, and then the girl in physical therapy went back to talk to the doctor and came back and told me that I wouldn't be seen for the physical assessment part. I never saw the doctor and the doctor never evaluated me. I asked that they take it with a normal cuff and they got all rude with me and then when they did they were like it doesn't change the results. These guys probably cost me a job due to their lack of professionalism and misdiagnosis. I went home and checked on my home blood pressure machine, and boom 120/80. Consistent with what I saw with my primary care the week beforehand. I have been to the doctor many times and instantly realized that they were not doing it correctly. I really wish I had another option because this facility is about as bad as you can get. While it looks great on the outside, the staff is insufficiently trained, not very friendly. I was diagnosed with Strep by another urgent care and my wife chose this place to get seen as she was under the weather severely as well. Her experience ended in that she decided she would go where I go from now on LOL...Back to the review... The dr was an older man who had to take his hearing aids out to listen to her breathing and refused to acknowledge that she is married...to a woman. Now, I know people have the right to accept it or not but how rude and disrespectful for you to blatantly disregard our marriage by calling her spouse (me) a FRIEND...anyway, they were open until 6pm but anytime anyone came in after 5 the front desk lady would say it would be "up to 4 hours to be seen"--that's a lie we were in and out within the hour...NOONE else was waiting and my wife confirmed there were only a few (2) people n the back rooms...they just didn't want to work My advice--if it's not yet obvious--go somewhere else for your urgent care needs. read more

Terrible place that shouldn't serve this community. Arrived after a recommendation from my VA telehealth appointment for symptoms resembling a sinus infection. Once I arrived no vitals were taken and I received a call from working doctor who explained they can do little if anything for me since I have a cough. Even though no formal check up was done not even a temp check or an actual check up from a nurse or doctor and made it very clear my visit was an inconvenience to them. Went to another urgent care that participates in the mission act. If you're looking to feel worse on top of not feeling well physically this is the place for you if not go just about anywhere else. read more

If I could give them a ZERO rating I would. Dr Joseph Alvarado is the worst doctor I have ever experienced! He should have his license revoked! I torn my meniscus at work and this less than human said I had a contusion of my knee. When I asked about x rays, and I was denied as he said it wouldn't show up. I asked about an MRI with a big NO, stating all I had was a contusion. I was sent for PT which didn't do anything. In fact at his facility the PT took my information and the told me I was good to go. My second visit was with a different person. He also spent about 10 minutes with me and ended the session. I went to doctor visit after doctor visit while he got paid I continued to suffer. I was required to wear a knee brace that only caused my knee and leg to atrophy creating a painful limp I still have 11 months later. The receptionist gave me someone else's medical records! I moved to another Concentra, it was a tiny bit better. At least this place finally decided to give me an MRI and found the tear through the notes, never looking at the MRI disc. I was moved to another Concentra. Two months later I was approved for surgery, but they never scheduled me. When I called to schedule for surgery I was met with a voicemail that stated, to leave my information, don't call back and don't fax! I eventually got a call back a month later leaving me a message saying they didn't know who I was or what I wanted! I ended up leaving them altogether and going else where for the surgery. My boyfriend and I came in for a physical, he had his appointment at 1pm literally scheduled it a week before coming into concentra, we literally had been having for more than an hour to get called the front desk ladies are not super friendly, I believe in your going to work in a place that requires front desk ladies they should at last me friendly and answer question correctly when asked. I honestly think there's better place where you can't be attend with better service. read more

This location is the best in Tucson. The office is clean and professional in appearance. I was more than pleased with the great customer service and professionalism I received at the Broadway & Kolb location. My wait time was short and thorough. The front desk staff and radiology technician that worked on 11/25/2017 were fantastic. The service that I needed was completed quickly and priced affordably. I will continue to return here whenever I need thier services. I definitely recommend this location to anyone wanting services that are executed with professionalism. For a scheduled appointment that had to be rescheduled since the previous appointment the doctor called out, been waiting over four hours to be seen. This is ridiculous for a scheduled appointment. If you can go to another place, I highly recommend doing that. read more

First off, Very friendly front staff with a clean admission area. Once admitted the techs in the back kept me up to date on my position in Que to see the doc and the anticipated wait time. All the equipment was clean and modern and I felt they were very well organized and well staffed. The doctor was super friendly and knowledgable and made my procedure fast and virtually painless. The wait time is egregious. The staff is inconsiderate, unorganized and slow. There is nothing urgent about this urgent care facility, but apparently they are funny because there was a whole lot of laughter. If you want to waste your entire day then come here. I left after 2 and a half hours of not being seen, and I was told "it will be another 30-40 minutes before somebody sees you". If I could give less than 1 star I would. This is the epitome of what it's like when you don't pay for the healthcare you want and somebody else has a say over who you see. read more

Every time I've come here I've had to wait for hours and hours even with an appointment they send a different doctor in every single time so no one ever knows what's going on or the severity of the issue the doctors also downplayed my pain and said I didn't hurt that bad and I'd be fine and I'm just impatient and complaining and everyone has a bad attitude and gives you sass I hurt my back at work and these doctors have done the absolute minimum help me get better and force me to take medicine that has no effect on my back or does not help the pain in anyway I only come here because I absolutely have to due to workers comp I would not recommend this place to anyone who has a choice of where they go if you actually want help and to get better stay far away from this place it is absolutely horrible. read more

I only went there for a DOT Physical screening but I was very impressed by the great attitude of the staff, everyone was extremely upbeat and friendly and they kept me posted on how long the process was going to take. Due to another appointment I was unable to stay to see the doctor, but the staff was great about working with me and I was able to pick right up where I left off when I was able to return in about 2 hours. My experience with medical facilities in the past has been generally unimpressive, but I was extremely impressed with my visit to Concentra! read more

WORST MEDICAL EXPIERIENCE EEVER! Be it, I have had to wait for hours at other medical establishments, been seen by people with no bedside manner but, this place takes the cake!!I was told that Concentra was the place to go for an on the job injury...well let me tell you that they are NOT EVEN CLOSE to being decent. The front receptionist was rude 99% of the time!!! The physical therapist thought he was a doctor and tried to pop my thumb back in place!!!! Aside from that, he had at least 4 patients at a time and I don't believe he knew what he was doing!! Last but not least, if you ever need something done by a deadline, don't hold your breath. I called at least 6 times to get updated documentation that I needed to get my work related injury taken care by my place of employment, I was put on hold all 6 times, the phone would start ringing to no end (it eventually hangs its self up). You would think that would be the end of it, I left my number and asked to have the doctor call me, 3 weeks later I am still waiting. I finally called a 7th time and asked not to be placed on hold. I was told they could not help me because the doctor needed more info. You think they could have told me this at least two weeks later!!! I was told I could have my MRI done on my own and then come back. NO WAY!! I will have the MRI done but, I will never go back. By the way my paperwork is past its deadline! After being turned away from an UrgentCare, I found Concentra. They provided excellent, friendly service. The young man at the desk filled out my paperwork since my hand was cut and bleeding. I was seen very quickly which I'm sure is unusual. The doc who saw me was personable and he made sure my cut was cleaned, there wasn't glass in it, nerves and tendons were intact, and he glued it and bandaged me up. They were wonderful and I will go there from now on in the event I need immediate attention. read more

I was having some discomfort with my breathing. The staff was nice. They did an X-Ray and an EKG. The doctor told me my ekg was abnormal and that there was a dark spot on my heart . He said I should get it checked out. I told him I had a doctors appointment in 2 days to which he said that I may not have 2 days. He told me that I had signs of a pulmonary embolism and regaled me with a tail of a female basketball player who dropped dead during a game. Needless to say I left there very freaked out. My wife and I headed to the emergency room where we spent the next 4 hours having test run. EKG: normal, X-Ray: normal, blood pressure: normal, oxygen levels: normal and blood tests: normal. I have a chest cold, that's it. Did they just do all the tests wrong? A waste of time and a waste of money. Can't even imagine how much this will end up costing me! I am truly upset and I feel like my wife and I were put through a lot. If there was an option for zero stars I would have used it. read more
