Worst urgent care ever !!!!!!!! Waited forever for simple work related test. Didn't even bother waiting

That's not one star. That's a NEGATIVE star for the ladies at the front desk! I asked for a doc note, you know, like verification that I was really there. That sort of thing- not trying to ask for time off or anything... even a simple signature with the date and time on their business card would have been perfect! And I was more than willing to wait until they had a free moment. Their response (in a very rude tone): "uh, we don't have anything like that." Worst customer service! So sad. When I was here I received quick and friendly service. The staff was well trained, attentive, and the facility was very clean.

It took over an hour and fifteen minutes to be called back for my 1:00 appointment. Yes, I said 1:15 past or 2:15. If I had missed my appointment or been an hour late, they would charge me. So, where's MY $50? There was only one walk-in and they were more concerned about his pee test than his injury. After called back it took about 30 minutes for a physical and drug test. Not too bad. The doctor was thorough, but the nurse had to stick me in both arms for blood, not good. Also forgot his gloves and I had to remind him. POOR sanitary condition there. Otherwise, if I wasn't a healthcare professional (Admin) I might not be so critical. read more

She hands me some metal thing says you known what to do with this I could barely hold anything. Then she goes to tell me rate my pain 1 to 10. I said 10 she said like your dying take you to Hospitol. I know at Urgent Care Clinics people should expect to wait. When I arrived with my boyfriend, we asked how long the wait would be and the receptionist said the wait would be no more than an hour. As we sat in the waiting room, people who came in after us were called back before we were. I had the joy of watching two and a half movies before my boyfriend was called back (over three hours). We would have gone to a different urgent care if we knew the wait would be THAT long. Also, the clinic is not very receptive to customer service. While my boyfriend went back, I was stuck waiting in the lobby and they did not allow me back with him, even per his request. All other urgent cares I have been to allowed me to bring my boyfriend back with me while I have been seen. Maybe their medicinal practices are subpar so they don't want any extra people back there? I find it extremely shady and rude. Overall, we did not enjoy their services at any point and will not return. Doctor's Express down the street is so much better and we will be going there for our urgent clinical needs instead. read more

Seriously, the worst medical facility I've visited. I went there for a work-related injury. After 1 1/2 hours of waiting, I finally asked how much longer it was going to be. She said it was still going to be a while. The person ahead of me had been waiting 2 1/2 hrs and still hadn't been called back. I waited a little longer and then got up and told them I was leaving. "Will you be coming back another time?" Yeah, right... The place is dirty and smells like cigarettes. Most people are there to do a drug test from the looks of it. They need to separate the workman's comp visits from the druggie visits or somehow organize it. There has to be a better way to run a business than what is happening now. This place sucks! My first visit a few days ago I was there for 2.5 hrs. The PA was the most sarcastic person I had ever met. Her answer to my every answer was "interesting" The PA needs to take sensitivity training. The staff in the back seem to be having a lot of fun while we waited and waited to be seen. Well, today was even worse... When I was called back in, the medical assistant mispronounced my name & last name. I corrected her softly. She uttered JESUSCRIST!!!! I said that is inappropriate... "You are giving me attitude so I'm giving it back to you. I said you are still being inappropriate. Please give me my paperwork so I can leave. I had to ask her twice before she (Angela) rudely gave me my paperwork. "Feel free to leave a comment right here" I can't believe that they are allowed to behave in this manner. With all of the one star reviews, this business does not care about their ratings. "EMANUEL V" was the Medical Asst that did my pre-employment tests and was extremely rude and even argued with me that he wasn't rude. Emanuel continually mumbled and expected that I knew what he was saying - so I said something g and obvious he did not like my comment! A little customer service is always appreciated- try having a conversation, ask how your client is doing...enjoy your job! Even if the mask hides your face - people can hear your smile. Waited 50 minutes this morning to get a TB test, regardless of getting there as soon as they opened (7am). So understandably, I'm frustrated. I don't really appreciate the office staff making a face at the doctor once I left. Maybe they should figure out a better system. C) The people behind the desk were clueless and blamed me for the information they didn't know!!! Worst urgent care facility ever even if you make an appointment you are essentially a walk in. For a simple drug screen will take you easily more than 2 hours. The front desk is ran by 4+ people but operates at a snails pace. read more

One of the most recent times this person told me to come back the next day before 4 for physical then when I came back the next day a girl name Kim told.me they cant and sent me to the kearny office. Went for a TB test. Place is really clean and people are friendly. Did not have to wait too long for them to see me, when I went in it was a 5 minute thing. One complaint I have is the gentleman at the front, Adrian, to say the least he doesn't know what he is doing. I see everyone working around him and helping him out even with simple answers as to how much a TB test is or how to find patient results or even answer the phone. If I was only rating that I would gladly give one star, but this is a business review and overall a pleasant visit. One small thing, they forgot to fax over my paperwork to the other Concentra so I could get the test read on a weekend, lucky for me the ladies over there at Ruffin Rd. are amazing and went ahead and reviewed my test without paperwork since it was obvious where test was done in forearm. I was refused service because they didn't have my medical records. Isn't this an urgent care? My medical records are at their Kearny mesa office, they made a call and said everyone is out to lunch. I asked if could be seen as an emergency walk in and they said no. Just no compassion or effort from the front desk staff. If I could give them zero star for their dysfunctional appointment system and the crappy customer service I totally would. I walked in at 9am with an appointment but had to wait 2.5 hours??! What's the point to even set up for an appointment? The system's down so I have to pay in cash only?! The front-desk receptionists working that day were not one of the most welcoming or friendly people that are fit for even working in a customer service position. After my visit, no one followed up with me at all... Whenever I called, the receptionist couldn't give me a definite answer about my physical results. You make an appointment and still end up waiting 2 hours to be called back and then you wait almost another 45 minutes to be seen by the doctor to do the examine. If I could give this place negative stars I would. Who waits over 2hrs to be seen when the staff is doing absolutely nothing to help and are so very rude. I will never ever go here again or recommend this place to anyone. The staff breeched HIPPA protocol twice in the 3 hrs I waited. I'm pretty sure the DR. Misdiagnosed me as well as over charging me for my copay. There are so many things wrong with this place starting with the unsanitary waiting room, bathroom not to mention the Lack of customer service, waiting times are ridiculous.
