I've been reading the reviews and I can't see how it takes 2 1/2 hours to be seen by these people. I went there yesterday and a woman was telling me she got there on time but had been waiting 4 hours and she was livid. Does anyone now why the wait is so long. My Workmans Comp. Adjuster told me I had to come to this location to start my claim. Is there any time that is best to walk in like first thing in the morning or right before they closing? The clinic has an urgent care sign in front. We do not recommend this clinic for any urgent medical needs! Went there with a family member who inhaled toxins when opening a box of chlorine. Front desk asked us for the issues, advised there was a problem breathing and bad coughing from this incident. After filling out forms for about 15 minutes (unbelievable lengthy of time considering a breathing issue), he was called back for vitals, I was told I could not accompany him. He never saw a doctor! The nurse "consulted the doctor who said she couldn't do anything and to go to the ER. Bottom line, don't waste your time for any urgent medical issues. Go to the Doctors Express in Santee, they are professional and competent. read more

Right before I went in I called about wait time they said less than an hour,I showed up 5 minutes later to wait 2 hours while multiple people came and went. I went here for some mandated pre-employment testing. The employer set up the testing location so I didn't have a choice. I will first say that the customer service here is some of the best I have seen at a clinic. The ladies at the front counter were always friendly and professional. As the wait in the lobby dragged on a staff member brought snacks and bottled water for everyone. All of the staff, nurses and doctors treated me with great respect and were very professional and friendly. The big issue I had was the extremely long wait. I checked in at 10:40 a.m. for an 11:00 appointment. When 11:45 a.m. rolled around I asked for an update, I was told they would find someone to see me. At 12:30 p.m., a full 90 minutes after my scheduled appointment, I was finally called back. I can't help but think that I would have waited longer had I not said something. Everyone was polite and very apologetic for the wait but that did not change the fact that I had to wait for so long. read more

Every time I come here I leave angry. They keep you waiting for unacceptable amounts of time. It doesn't matter if you have an appointment or not. I waited 1 hour and 30 minutes past my appointment time just to get in and start the tests. Plus the people working do not care that they are keeping you waiting. It's really nothing against any employees but whoever is in MANAGEMENT please READ. 2-3 hour wait time for a vaccine. I'm not sure what the solution is but that makes no sense. I've worked at many offices, clinics , etc and I'm just surprised they don't have a system to streamline quick appointments. I felt bad for the front desk lady who has no authority to think smarter not harder out of fear of reprimand. Worst Clinic ever!!!! My husband waited 3 hrs before being seen and he was in tremendous pain. Definitely will never be going there again. And they tried to tell him he would be charged $50 of $2500 WTH. Lets hope I don't receive a bill for this piss pour service. read more

I wish I could give half a star only. Pathetic service from day one was the beginning of a 2 3/4 year nightmare for myself. I was sent there by my previous employer after a workplace injury. The first doctor told me I strained or sprained my upper back. He handed me 2 bottles of drugs. The very first dose is what started my horrible experience. I suffered a massive seizure. That, along with their doctor sending me to their in-house chiropractor so he could adjust my sprain or strain???... I experienced severe pain during "adjustment" #1. Immediately, I had to curl my spine and pull up my knees to take the pressure the area of injury off so I could breathe. I still have to live with a lot of pain today in my upper back. My original doctor was confused, he had no answer for me, so he passed me to another doctor at their facility (a specialist I was told). This man was cartoonish. He'd walk in looking like he had been popping qualudes all morning. He'd put his hands on my back for a few seconds and just say, oh yeah, your still very stiff, see you in 6 weeks. I'd tell him every time, hey doc, my injury is up between my shoulder blades (he'd always have his hands down near my tailbone....). He never asked any questions about how it feels, is it causing you any problems, etc. When I called to cancel my next appointment, the receptionist who answered seemed to already know why I was calling, she finished my sentence for me and didn't seem surprised at all, or try to talk me into giving them just one more chance. She asked me if I had hired a lawyer....she must be used to this. read more

I am writing this review for your office in Santee (9745 Prospect Ave, Santee, CA 92071), I called prior to arrival to try to make an appointment but the receptionist told me on the phone that an appointment is not necessary due to your establishment is an 'urgent' healthcare so I came in at 9:15 AM. After an hour an half of waiting, I informed the receptionist that I have to go back to work by noon, she assures me that I will be seen soon, I waited until 11:20 AM and still was not seen. I notified the receptionist to refund my charges and she did, she also stated that I shouldn't have to wait that long to be seen. Prior to my departure from the clinic I attempted to make an appointment for the nest day, however, I was told by the receptionist that an appointment is not possible due to this is an 'urgent' healthcare facility. I am highly disappointed in your services and needless to say, I will not return for any future care/treatment. Hopefully, you will take this complaint and improve your services for future patient/client, it would be good if a patient can make an appointment and would not have to waste (yours & mine) valuable time. read more

After having my new boss go through new paperwork for me, AFTER an injury at work, we finally got in to the Santee office. After sitting there for an hour and watching 6 people who came in after me go ahead of me I walked up to the reception desk and said, "I just want you to know I'm still here." She said the most imbecilic thing I've ever heard, "Yes, there are people with injuries." I guess she thought I was there for shits and giggles. I left after another 1/2 hour. Came home, called my boss and apologized for inconveniencing him re: all the paperwork etc. I will take care of myself from now on or go to an emergency room. read more

The worst service I have ever experienced in my life easily. I went there twice, the first time I made an appointment a week ahead of time for a fasting blood test. I waited 2 hours to be seen even with the appointment even though a good number of people walked in, got seen and left while I was still waiting. I was there for more than a half hour after they called me in and actually passed out by the time they did the blood draw because I had gone so long without eating. After I left they called me back in to redo the tests because they discovered they had done the wrong tests on me. A complete nightmare. I was stupid enough to go back again for a second test a year later just today and it was almost a complete repeat of what happened the first time except I didn't pass out because I asked to lay down in a room after an hour and a half of waiting and they actually did the correct test this time. Either way, this place is a complete joke. I would give it 0 stars if I could. Save yourself the frustration and go to a different clinic. read more

Went for a physical and drug test for employment. Couple of the staff were cool, others not so much. Been over a week and they just keep "forgetting" to call me and employer back. Still battling with it, so far out of work for a week and a half because they can't cooperate and help me. I will hopefully never have to come back here. read more

this is the worst facility my daughter needed to be tested for her child custody case it was imperative she got tested that day. We got there at 430 they did not call us in until 520 and when she could not pee right away in a couple minutes they asked her to leave and assured her there would be no repercussions. She called her social worker and was told her test was considered dirty since she did not pee. Selfish lazy workers liars now our family has to go through more sadness because of their laziness. I have had a very good experience. The longest wait was 15 minutes. That's better than my primary and other urgent cares I have been to. Staff is friendly and able to answer all my questions. I went for doctor visits and physical therapy. With both I have had quality care. I read more

I'm just writing an update to the US health works response. Thank you for taking the time responed to my concerns. I can guarantee you that I'm not the first person to be ask to pee in a cup while waiting outside ,maybe I'm just the first person to yelp about it. Also can you please check the website of hours of operation for this location because on many different websites it states it open till six. If your not going to change the hours of operation on various websites then can you please do a retraining of staff on guest relations between themself and clients. I can tell you I will never again be using your services in the future for anything because of the front office staff, how someone can be so rude is beyound me and yet still be employed is crazy.Yes I know yelp is a place for people to vent and wright experience good and bad. I do my best not to wright such long negative reviews I believe I wright more positive reviews then negative ones. The staff, from the front office to the interior area, at US Health works are WONDERFUL. They have a very difficult job assisting customers sent there for employment screening, drug program testing, worker's compensation, and walk ins with various illness and injuries. The wait at times can seem long but so many factors are to be considered.. Who had an appointment, who walked in, etc. You get excellent care there and I can't express how highly I think of each and every employee there doing their best to assist all the people they see each and every day. read more

My first visit was 4.5 hours long mostly because their staff was incompetent, but also because they decided to call my other dr for delivery of my records, while I wait...I had Dr Hoang who was an absolute joke...he completely didn't listen to a word I said and dismissed any concerns I had...he immediately told me they're is nothing wrong with me...I told him about my intense pain and asked for any help,and he told me, " I don't believe in pain medication after 2 weeks of an injury"..WTF!!! I asked what he expects me to do and he said "deal with it". He did nothing for me except let me deal with intense pain on a daily basis..Every time I was in the office I heard almost every patient complain, either about the wait or treatment...I thankfully switched Dr's and they found a herniated disk and a lower lumbar injury immediately...I felt justified but angry because I had to deal with this pain for a year because of a incompetent Dr who has no business in the medical field..they are without a doubt an insurance Dr's office....stay far away......I am now with Dr. K.
