As far as drug screening places go, it was fine. Small but fast and efficient for my visit. 5 people in front of me and I was in and out in 20 minutes. The office is split and you don't need an appt for drug test side, just walk in. For everyone complaining about wait time you need to understand this is a walk-in clinic and they are always busy. (No half-star option) Initially provider documented cellulitis and possible venus stasis; failed to correctly document my workplace injury to my right ankle; she mis-read the area of injury on the intake sheet as "LL" (lower left leg). I pointed out the error to the site manager; she said the PA had already left for the day, and would have her correct the error the following day. That was 27 March 2019; as of 27 June 2019 the error continues to prevent L & I from processing the compensation claim. L & I has informed the site manager and PA of the need for clarification each month for the last three month by physical letter - are they incompetent? They were paid by L & I, so they *are ignoring* further responsibilities. Check-in was fast and the wait-time brief for a walk-in. There remains confusion in the documentation (injury was to the lower right leg, the PA wrote lower right leg). The encounter summary printed out in 10-pt. was really hard to read (structured writing techniques will improve patient understanding, compliance, outcome and satisfaction. OTC dosing was not defined even though the OTC was "recommended." While acute treatment was efficiently provided, preventive / self-care education / actions were not even mentioned. read more

Drove my buddy to this place for a walk-in physical at 9 in the morning. We ended up waiting five hours in the lobby, when an employee finally called his name to be seen he ended up waiting in the exam room for an additional 2 hours. I do not recommend this place at all unless you're willing to spend all day here. Another guy had an appointment at 9 in the morning and didn't even get seen until three hours after his scheduled appointment. What's the purpose in scheduling an appointment if you're not going to be seen at your scheduled time, extremely unprofessional. These employees need to start doing better and step it up. Heard people outside the room constantly asking about my room waiting so long and why I had been skipped so often. This place is a joke. I went her for a work injury and will never go back. Six hours is a ridiculous amount of time to wait to be seen for literally a tetanus shot. While the nurses and receptionists were kind, the wait was way too long. I assumed one or two hours at most, but I completely missed my ENTIRE shift at my second job. The doctor wanted me to come back the next day to check for infection but I had work from 8:00-4:30. I lost over $60 by waiting around when I am dependent on my funds for bills. The doctor proceeded to say "Well I'm sure you could figure something out with your employer". So no. Short version: Waited an hour and a half with an appointment and with only two people ahead of me- one person already with the doctor, one other person in the waiting room. I came in on a Saturday. I had a 1:30 appointment for a pre-hire drug screen and fit test. I came in at 1:00 (too early, I know). The place was empty, but for one patient in the waiting room. Per the receptionist, there was one patient in with the CMA and that one patient ahead of me in the waiting room. Two people. After waiting for over an hour I checked to see when they'd be ready for me, as two the patients ahead of me had been seen and left, and I *really* had to pee. Per the woman at the desk, there was only one CMA on staff, and he was working on something else. But clearly not with a patient. There were no patients back there. Even when there are no patients in there, you have to wait. They don't mind making you wait because they know you have no choice. I wasn't seen until 2:21. I don't know why employers choose US Healthworks to get these pre-hire credentials done, but they are grossly and purposefully inefficient. I get that these reviews are pointless because most people have no choice but to come here, but maybe if we ask our employers to do these pre-hire things (UAs, TB tests, physicals, etc) elsewhere, that will make a difference in the way approach patient care. Maybe they won't be so bogged down with patients, and they'll be able to see actual urgent care patients with greater ease. I guess my advice would be not to come early to appointments. It makes absolutely no difference whatsoever. If you're going for a urinalysis/drug screen, don't bother drinking water ahead of time, because you will have an uncomfortably long wait ahead of you. read more

Frustrating because I came ready to pee and having to wait so long for a pee test is crazy! To be honest the place isn't busy and there are 2 people who have been waiting longer! Not very efficient. Came here first visit for a simple test needed by my new employer, second step TB. Front staff seem to not have anything together. I was waiting for 45 minutes. Came in for a Physical examination to satisfy DOT requirements for a new job. This location doesn't accept appointments as most Urgen Cares don't. Not an issue. After filling out forms in the lobby, I'm waiting here for 2 hours in this same lobby. After eventually getting moved into the back to begin the process, I'm moved into a room to wait for another 45 minutes without any update. Meanwhile they need rooms to put other patients in. The issue could be understaffed. Regardless, this is ridiculous. I've had a dozen physicals in my life and it has NEVER taken 3+ hours. Unacceptable. Us healthworks was just down the street from my office so I stopped in for an evaluation for an eye infection, their office was in disrepair, dirty, with exposed electrical switches. The doctor saw me for a couple minutes and simply said "you have an eye infection and we'll prescribe you some medication eye drop and let us know in a couple days if it isn't getting better." After three day my vision worsened and I call back to Ushealthworks and was transferred to a line which rang for 5 minutes without pickup. I hung up and called back and the front desk said the doctor was very busy and she would take a message.. Two hours later with no call back I drove to the clinic to seek advice from the doctor and was told I'd have to sign up to be see as a patient albeit I was seen days ago. Upon explaining the condition of my eye and loss of sight the doctors assistant told me they couldn't do anything for me and I would have to go to the emergency room. Now here I am at Allenmore hospital wishing I would have came here first. Don't waste your time and compromise your health by going to Ushealthworks!!! read more

I waited over an hour to get a TB test and when I came back, I waited over an hour for the lady to call me up and tell me that my TB test was no longer valid bc it was 5 days since I got the shot. (On the third day, there was a fire at the urgent care and on the fourth day, they were still closed so I had no option but to come on the fifth day.) I understand that the fire wasn't their fault, but to make me wait an hour just to tell me that my test was invalid? I even went up to the front desk lady to ask her how long the wait time would be and all she said was "You're just gonna have to sit down and wait." All the times I've come here for my TB test, people who have come after me got treated before me and left after me. Dr Hoang the resident physician the day I had come in to renew my DOT med cert, had horrible bedside manner. I had been going through MultiCare all these years to renew my med cert and after a year at my new place of employment, Concentra is who they go through for such things. upon my first visit here I was asked do you have your sleep compliance info, i stated no, she proceeded to look at me and said "Is this your first DOT physical" I said no, and she says, "well then you should've known right?" first of all Multicare's system is all linked so I never had to take anything with me. she proceeded to be very short and cold during the rest of my visit. Recently, I went to Concentra for a DOT mandated physical. In general my contact with all aspects of Concentra was excellent. Front office staff listened courteously, spoke and explained requirements clearly, and seemed to understand that no one wants to wait unnecessarily. Technical staff were efficient and innovative in getting routine matters completed. The physician was respectful and thoughtful. She considered my words and did not complete my thoughts for me. While the visit took longer than was ideal, I have never had an employer mandated occupational physical that was as competently done and managed. Highly recommended. read more
