I had such a positive experience with this physical therapy office, and I especially want to recognize Claudia at the front desk. She went above and beyond to help me. When I accidentally missed my appointment, Claudia was kind enough to call and check on me instead of just marking it as a no-show. She quickly got me rescheduled for the very next day, which I truly appreciated. Expect 1-2 hours minimum even if you have an appointment. So inefficient. Doc also tried to get me to get other unrelated medical procedures done while there since it was "on employers dime." Unethical and a waste of a lot of time. After over an hour wait, the doctor came in to tell me that I was scheduled a month early and need to come back next month instead. I came in as a walk-in for a pre-employment physical. I expected a bit of a wait, but not hours. Checking in was easy, and the medical assistants were polite. Once I was finally called back, the provider walked in with a stank attitude. She didn't introduce herself, barely acknowledged me, and rushed through the entire exam. She looked so annoyed. She asked what kind of job I was being hired for, had me do a few bends and basic stretches, and that was it. No thorough physical, no real engagement--just in and out. After she abruptly left the room, I waited another five minutes until an MA came in and told me I was done. As someone who's worked in the healthcare field for 7 years, primarily in Work Comp/Physical Exams, this experience was honestly disappointing. I've heard negative things about Concentra before, and now I see why. This review is mostly directed to the providers. read more

From what I've gleaned, there is limited staff today, but I was literally the first to check in for a third part of a preventative vaccine series and it's been 40 minutes. I did not have an appt, so it was a walk in but it is still kind of a long wait. I would rate the service quality 5 stars but the wait as 2 stars. Both are extremely important. Hello This is by far the best Urgent Care you can go to within North County and in my opinion all of San Diego county. Next to the hospital emergency rooms this clinic maintains a very courteous and professional staff. The facilities are immaculate. I have utilized this facility as an employer to take injured employees and also to treat personal injuries. The Administrative Manager is outstanding, the medical staff is excellent and the physical therapy staff is exemplary. I have no problem sending negative reviews for places when it's my opinion and I also want to convey positive opinions when I experience them. Terrible service. They do not check you in until after you have completed your check in paperwork, rather than when you actually get there. In essence, your wait time doesn't start until THEY complete your paperwork. Wait times can be 10x longer than other, more efficient locations. This is by far the slowest Concentra available. The front desk staff are very nice, however, every single visit, you will spend a minimum of 1.5 hours there. The PA (Sue Radoff) walks in, spends 2 minutes with you, encourages you to lie about how you are feeling, is condescending, doesn't listen to a word you say, argues with patients, let's her ego become involved in making decisions, thinks medicine is a one size fits all approach, and genuinely acts like she doesn't care. It feels like the type of environment where they only care about how many patients they see so they get paid the maximum amount per day. The physical therapy staff are ALL amazing and spend the dedicated time to truly help you heal and also educate you. I made the mistake of not listening to friends and family when they told me not to go to a workers comp facility because all they care about is treating every patient with the same protocol and then discharging you without regard to how you are actually doing overall. Lesson learned, but fair warning to others, take your business elsewhere! read more

Susan Radoff has no business seeing patients. The fact that she dismissed my husbands concerns regarding toxic inhalation, due to a workman's comp issue is BEYOND my comprehension. She basically told him that his symptoms are not valid and he should go home and take Tylenol . When he asked for a second opinion she denied it and stated, "I'm closing this case because this is not a valid reason to be here". She also lied on the documents and wrote a false date for the date of incident as 7-10-2001 and then asked why he waited so long to be seen stating " These symptoms are now bothering you. Why the hell would he be presenting to her office after 23 years for this. It wasn't until he started to complain, and called his HR Representative from the exam room , was when she was replaced by a much kinder and helpful provider. This provider listened and even expressed how this was not the first complaint that Susan Radoff has had and continued to apologize for the poor care she was giving. If Susan is not going to give Quality Customer Care and Quality Patient Care then WHAT IS SHE DOING AS A WORKMAN'S COMP PHYSICAN ASSISTANT! Clearly, all the bad reviews that I have seen below about her backdating to 2021, don't phase Concentra Urgent Care!! The past few times I've been here were for employment screenings. It was very easy. I came right when the door opened and there were a few people before me. I had to wait an hour just for a pee test. I just have a pet peeve when people are helped before me, when they have arrived after me. Besides that the process is simple, but the wait it long. They may be understaffed or just always backed up, either way it's an urgent care so it is expected. So if you for get you have to drive out there to get a reminder. If you call and leave a voice mail trying to cancel your next appointment they won't check it or give a call back. My wife went to the San Marcos facility as she began experiencing back pain and simply did not feel well. She thought she might have a urinary infection. They saw her, did not much to verify her what might be wrong with her and they prescribed medication for a kidney infection. They also prescribed a second medication for pain while peeing. She told them she did not have this symptom, so they said she didn't have to take it. After calling her primary physician, he advised her to take a Covid test. Sure enough, that's what she had, not a urinary infection. She only took one pill which would have resulted in other complications had she not found out it was Covid. This facility is useless and dangerous. I would advise no one to go there as they can kill you. How these places can be allowed to exist is beyond me. read more

You can hear the nurses talking bad about you and making fun of you while you're waiting to be seen by the doctor. Workers here do not know how to comprehend professional language and in turn treat you like you're the dumb one. They also don't respect your time. You'll be here for an appointment and wait 40min to be take back, have your vitals taken, and then wait another 45 min to see the doctor. Then your paperwork will not have accurate time stamps. This place is terrible. I went 9 days ago for pre-employment drug testing, labs, and physical. I walked in and was told it would be 3-4 hrs for everything. I didn't have the time that day to wait that long so I asked if I could make an appointment to reschedule the physical portion, which I was told should be an hour with an appointment. Great! I scheduled that appointment for two days ago at noon, and they didn't call me back until 2:45 pm. I also had another appointment at 3 pm because I thought 3 hrs was plenty of time for a SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. Wrong. Now today, I called them because my employer is still waiting on my TB blood test results, which I thought was odd since it has been 9 days and everything else I got done there has been resulted. First person to answer told me she was with a patient but if I could hold she could look into it because 9 days is a long time, which I agreed to. Same person answers the phone again and once I restate what information I need she says "I am still checking on it" and then hangs up on me! I call back again and a second person answers. I explain that I just called and got hung up on but I need an update on my test results. This person got attitude with me saying their system has been down so they can't check and it's been like this for the past 4 days. Weird how they were still able to upload my other results.. Our insurance company only gives out 2 cards, so my son (away for college) has been using a picture or photocopy of our family cards for all his appointments. This office turned him away because their protocols mandate that a physical card be scanned into the system--they cannot see a human without running a physical card through a scanner. I called to see if there is any possible way around this, but their hands are tied--no card to scan, no visit. To top it off, the next nearest center our insurance covers is over an hour away. I got a job from the retirement place, they ask me to go to the clinic to get TB, drug test and physical check. Ngl it looks sketchy af when I arrived early in the morning waiting the clinic to be open. After waiting, the clinic opened I entered and they asked if i made an appointment, I stated ''no'' and she gave me application forms to filled it in, I have to take the questionnaire on my phone, and i have to wait again. I felt like it been an hour or more of waiting. Then, they finally called my name, took both drug test and physical check. I had go to different room waited for more than 25 min, I got so bored and sleepy.
