She and her team were absolutely great. I cannot say enough good things about my experience, from the moment I checked in until the moment I checked out. I give them five stars across the board. I was checked in quickly, and in less than ten minutes, the medical team was already caring for me. About a week before becoming sick, I had been exposed to a serious biological health hazard with potentially fatal consequences. Naturally, I was extremely concerned, and my wife was terrified. Dr. Voigt listened carefully, ordered the appropriate tests, and quickly determined my illness was unrelated to that exposure. She assured me I would make a full recovery within a few days. Her reassurance meant more than I can express. Dr. Voigt's calm, compassionate, and confident manner immediately put me at ease, so I was able to call my wife and let her know that I would be okay. She treated me with genuine kindness, respect, and professionalism throughout my visit. I left feeling relieved, encouraged, and truly cared for. I also want to thank the entire staff at Scripps Urgent Care. Everyone I encountered was warm, friendly, compassionate, and professional. From the moment I arrived until I left, every interaction reflected genuine concern and outstanding patient care. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Voigt and the entire team. They didn't just provide excellent medical care, they treated me like a human. Mary Joy at check-in immediately made me feel welcome and made me feel at ease, Karina was wonderful. She took my vitals and clearly explained my discharge instructions before I left. Dr. Andrews was exceptional. She took the time to listen, explained everything thoroughly, and made me feel comfortable and confident throughout my treatment. I was referred to Carlsbad Coastal by a friend and was glad i went. The wait was about 1/2 hour, but once i got into the exam room, everything went quickly. It turns out it wasn't a splinter but a deep thorn about 1/4" in length. There is no way i would have been able to get this thing out on my own. The procedure took about 1/2 hour once he started to numb the toe til the pesky thorn came out, but, no more pain! I highly recommend Carlsbad Coastal and their friendly staff and skilled doctor.

And when he has given a referral his office always check with me to make sure everything went well. All the staff is also wonderful and friendly. Came in as a walk in, and was seen in a good amount of time. Sure there was some wait time but it's not a drive through oil change. The doctor gave me time to ask questions, troubleshoot. Which I hope is what all people get when they see a doctor. She provided me with feedback and we decided what tests to do moving forward. The staff was nice and I felt welcomed there. I don't go to doctors often or have insurance and they were understanding and helped me decide what tests would be best to do first being I'm paying out of pocket. An overall positive experience I'm grateful for.

I went in for vaginal itching on June 30th, 2026. Upon arrival and explaining my symptoms, I had a swab and urine sample taken. PA Megan Hogg told me at my appointment that my urine results were normal; however, when I checked my patient portal after getting home, I saw that I actually had an 'out of range' result that was not discussed during or post care. To make matters worse, it took over a week for my swab results to return. I had to call the front desk multiple times a day, begging someone to discuss my results with me. They made empty promises to follow up with the lab, but they never did. After a week of unnecessary suffering, I finally took it upon myself to call the lab company they claimed to have submitted my swab to. I discovered that they had never even sent my sample--they either completely forgot or lied about it. As a young woman of color, I felt that these 'doctors' neglected my care because they did not value my health. I will never return here. I used to appreciate Carbon Health for its supposed speed , transparency and efficiency, but the front desk staff and the doctors are absolutely incompetent at this location. Save yourself the time and the stress--go elsewhere.
