We finally bit the bullet and decided to go for it. We spent a couple of months going to a bunch of tile stores looking at flooring and were finally able to agree on 24" x 24" porcelain tiles with a rectified edge. We found a tile that we liked and worked with Clay to order it. Clay came out to our house to measure and we paid a deposit on the tile to get it shipped to their warehouse which took a couple of weeks for the tile to come in. They're really good about working with you if there's a delay and you need to push back a date. Each subcontractor who came out was fantastic. The tile guys did a great job with the install. At the time we were tile shopping, we thought the 24" x 24" tiles were huge, but now that they're in our house, we realize that 36" x 36" wouldn't have looked odd. We paid a little extra for virtually dust free tile removal which was DEFINITELY worth it because we didn't have dust all over our house. I recommend that you get that if you're redoing your tile. The guys who came out to install our baseboards were just as amazing. Nothing in our house is normal and of course the walls are not straight. They made sure that the baseboards looked right. They even put the kick plates and trim back on the bottom of our cabinets. We had a couple of very minor issues which were dealt with professionally and promptly. I would definitely recommend this company if you are redoing your flooring. We now have beautiful floors and are extremely happy customers!

As I have a lot of difficulty with colors, he kindly came to my home and assisted me in my selection. Then, contracted with independent installers who completed the job in a professional workmen like manner which was later inspected by one of the installers supervisors and then again by the representative of Miami Carpet and Tile who had sold me the tile. In all, I was very pleased with my purchase, the assistance that they gave to me and with their overall performance. In later discussing my completed project and in reviewing the work others had had performed by other tile providers, it became evident to me that I was lucky I had had done business with Miami Carpet & Tile rather than those other sources.

I didn't want them to come back and it was right before Christmas. We had a lot of work to do. They didn't even finish the doorways and now a year later the grout is also coming up. This is my 2nd review of Flooring King. Unfortunately, the floors that were originally installed in…read more2020 were ruined by a leak that went through our house. Not all the areas were bad, but we decided to replace all the flooring to avoid the possibility of mold forming. After remediation was done to dry the walls, we coordinated with Alex to pick out the floors. Communication throughout was great and pricing was more than reaaonable. This install was exceptional. Our quote included moving furniture, removing baseboards and flooring and replacing with new, and hauling the removed flooring to the dump. They took their time to make it right, but they worked quickly and even navaigated through some rain that came through. We had an area in our kitchen where the concrete subfloor was raised, and instead of installing the flooring over that area for a surprise broken board later, they showed us the problem and my husband grinded down that area flat. They came back the next day to finish the floors. I will always respect integrity and honesty in any company we hire! If you read reviews about floors cracking or having issues, it is very likely the subfloor had poor prep or a poor surface, so keep that in mind. I do not believe that Flooring King handles floor prep, so if you have a bad subfloor, and don't get it fixed prior to install, you will very likely run into problems as these are floating floors and are only as good as the surface they're laid on. We were very satisfied with the install, the installers, the pricing and Flooring King. They helped to make a stressful situation more manageable!
