I was "gifted" the opportunity to see this show just the other day…read more My first show since becoming a Las Vegas resident. Damned if we didn't get Front Row & Center seating!! It's in the V Theater. Located in the Miracle Mall at Planet Hollywood. Just an fyi, even with what looks like a lot of construction in that general vicinity, getting in and out was a cinch. And this was a 5:30 showing. I was blown away. This was a great show. And a new(er) cast from what I understand. The 5 players had a great chemistry, and it poured into the audience. I'm just glad they didn't come to drag me up on stage like some. (be warned). One act I thought was funny as hell. Four players are doing all of the background music with one who is seated as the solo vocalist. After a minute into the song an easel backed sign slides onto the stage. "This song is heard entirely in English" it says. I laughed, wtf? After a bit, one of the four replaces a stick on sign that read as "English" replaced it with "French". So the vocalist then proceeds. Beautiful. Then the stick on gets changed to Korean, then Japanese, and closes out the song in "Pig Latin". The whole place busted out laughing, as did the cast. They genuinely looked like they had fun. As they should. If this was a new cast, it could only get better I'd assume. So if you find yourself needing an "affordable" (easy for me to say) show of caliber but without the crowd of an A-List Las Vegas act. Toxic Audio should make your short list. 4 stars? Toxic Audio is a high energy group of 5 really talented performers that will simply astound you…read more They perform a huge number of songs in a nonstop show without any musical instruments - they do everything with their voices. This show like the Blue Man Group is hard to describe to someone. Once you see it and hear it ... you will go WOW !!! I saw their show a couple of years ago at the Luxor and they have just gotten better and better. The show has a great deal of humor and beautiful music. Before they bring the audience to their feet for a standing ovation with their final number "Turn the Beat Around," they perform "Stand By Me" In Stand By Me - they move out into the audience and just let their voices blend in beautiful harmony. It is breathtaking..... a super exerience. Their last number by The Miami Sound Machine features their percussion vocalist and when the song Lyrics get to " love to hear percussion" he does a terrific job ending with a back flip.. You have to see this group to believe the sounds you are hearing ... Amazing .......... and totally worth the price of admission.

Eric Jordan Young Shakin' Review 10/14/14…read more I went to this show expecting another Las Vegas retro old school review targeted toward older tourists. The showtime at 5:30 suggested a low energy show customary to other similar entertainment on the strip at that hour. I grew up in NYC and have seen countless shows on Broadway as well as Vegas, but I was shocked at what transpired (and I have seen it all in Las Vegas): A world class exhibition of showmanship by Mr. Young. His singing was rich, powerful and pitch perfect without going over the top (in a modest venue) as many performers do. His dancing was dazzling and equally great showing pedigree and the laser precision of a pro. Here in the self proclaimed Entertainment Capital of the World (try to disprove it) you will not find a more talented performer. Eric is a morph of Sammy Davis Jr. and Micheal Jackson combining old and new school with aplomb. His choice of music is superb and shifts seamlessly between classic and modern pop. The dancing certainly deserve praise as they attain the same high level of craft. I have seen lead dancer Claudia Mitria all over the strip playing currently in Pin Up. She also dances in the bursting-with-talent group BBR's punk rock opera "Alice" (a must see). Claudia is a special artist and you will have a hard time keeping your eyes away from her energy. For a show to attain this height, you must have a live band. Beware of cost cutting shows that pose. This band rocks and is a show unto themselves. Roll it all together and you have everything you could hope for without the distraction of neon clad spandex people twirling from the ceiling.

The only reason I am not rating this five stars is because of the venue, but the performer himself would definitely warrant all five stars, and he honestly deserves to be performing in a better place than Hooters. I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. This show was awesome. Todd Paul's show isn't well known like other Vegas shows, isn't advertised like other Vegas shows, and sadly isn't as appreciated as other Vegas shows. But after tonight, I can safely say that I want to go back, and I'd even pay to see him again, which is something I can't say about a lot of the big Vegas shows, and I've seen a lot of them (Viva Elvis, I'm looking at you!). Todd Paul isn't flashy or gimmicky, but instead relies on raw talent to entertain the audience. I'll admit that at the beginning of the show I had no idea where he was going with his mocking of strip magicians (Hi Criss Angel), but the show as a whole had a sense of continuity which was really surprising and impressive. Without spoiling anything, Todd Paul managed to tie everything together from his first act to the very last piece. The show was small and intimate, and because it was a comedy show he did have a major heckler. But he handled it really well, and included the heckler throughout the show. He even gave her a hug at the end, and everyone was really in to it and enjoyed it, despite the horrible things she said. I also loved the parts where he talked about how he came to Las Vegas, from his origins as a street performer in San Francisco performing cheap tricks, to moving up to having his own showroom. He really seemed to appreciate where he was, even if it was a tiny converted conference room in a sub-par casino-hotel. If you're looking to see a really great performer for a cheap price, and are willing to trek through the horrible Hooters casino to see him, I absolutely recommend Todd Paul. Unlike a lot of what you'll see in Vegas, Todd Paul is pure, raw talent, and extremely funny. Todd Paul is also a member of "The Dirty Jokes Show.," which my husband and I will be seeing on Sunday because we liked this performance so much. If you have time, and the chance, go see him. You will not be disappointed. Todd Paul is absolutely, genuinely talented and funny. Go see him! Hooters passes out a coupon for 8 bucks for tickets, plus a free drink during the show. And, when you get your ticket there is a free coupon drink from the crappy bar/nightclub downstairs.

I take my vacation to go 2 weeks in the US, I visit LA, I do some road trip visits and I attend Viva. Probably the best event of its kind. Well I'll need to attend all of them to make sure but I'm pretty sure it will win the first prize. During 4 days, it's all about the rockabilly scene. Music, fashion, old cars, tattoos, burlesque and ton of pinups everywhere. I have so much fun every time, I never get to do all the cool stuffs that's happening and I meet new friend every year. There's also a bunch of competition that are fun to enter like the pin-up competition or the vintage swimsuit competition. For the perfect Viva expérience don't forget to do some shopping, to attend the car show on Saturday, to enjoy the pool during one of the pool parties, to see some burlesque shows and get a tattoo ! The best souvenir ever I honestly have absolutely nothing wrong to say about this event. It's always perfectly organized. And I just can't wait to attend the next one in 2021 Who cares to join ? Viva Las Vegas !

We go to as many car shows in Vegas as possible including not in Vegas (Hot August Nights in Reno)…read more We enjoy them all but nothing really compares to this. Although our car isn't old enough to qualify to get in (64 or old and ours is a 67') we still manage to go to the Orleans and park in the normal area with our car and a lot of others that either can't get in or didn't want to pay the extra fee. Once you get in though it is people and car watching GALORE! They have amazing rat rods, classics, bikes and live music. The Orleans casino does a great job of this show. I've been attending for many years and remember the old days when this was at the Gold Coast. Orleans is a much bigger and nicer venue and can accommodate the masses of people coming to check everything out. If your a car enthusiast and like to see good looking men and women with awesome tattoos then this is your thing.

It basically showcases the history of Las Vegas through dancing and singing, sprinkled with a hula hoop act which was actually very entertaining, and a duo acrobat act. I would give the live band, background settings, stage production, costumes, and dancers 4 1/2 stars. However, I have to give the singers only 3 1/2 stars. This averages out to an overall 4 stars. If you are looking to be entertained, and it was entertaining, by a reasonably priced show, this is it.

The choreography is wonderful and the dancers are spot on. I usually fall asleep during shows but this one kept my attention and I would reccommend.
