I've been a House Seats member for about a year on a 2-year membership, and for the most part it's been a good deal. I've seen 2-3 shows so far and the membership pays for itself, the shows aren't big-name productions, but they're fun and entertaining enough for a great night out. Most recently, we went to see the Australian Bee Gees tribute show at Excalibur, and the performance was fun, better to those from that era. What put a damper on the evening was Excalibur charging $30 for parking because the Golden Knights were playing at T-Mobile Arena that same night. The frustrating part? That surcharge applied to everyone no matter which venue you were heading to. As a paying member who had already committed to tickets, that felt like an unfair surprise. House Seats itself is still a solid membership for entertainment value in Las Vegas. Just think ahead when shows coincide with major nearby events, so you can plan for parking alternatives ahead of time or choose other shows away from hotels within T-Mobile proximity. I became a member about a month ago and in one or two shows this membership has paid for itself! I love the option to see new shows and to do so affordably. You never know what's gonna be available so check often for updates up to seven days prior to the day you want to see a show. I do see many comedy shows available, thunder down under, lots of cover shows, magic, impressionists, carrot top, etc. there's always something to see:) Definitely a great way to see shows for a great one time membership fee. I've had House Seats on and off for several years now. Even if you only go to a show now and then it pays for itself. Most recently I got HS for a bachelorette party and went to see a Sexy Male Dancer show with the girls. Yeah the selection overall is for B shows and repetitive but it's easy to pick something to do every now and then while supporting local talent. Like others have mentioned here, House Seats was once a great service. We have seen quite a few great shows and concerts (Roger Waters, Bon Jovi, The Cult, Bryan Adams, The Eagles, Cirque du Soleil and more) through House Seats, but that hasn't happened in quite a while. I'm always hopeful, so I renewed yet again, but this is the last time. There honestly hasn't been anything worthwhile for us in over 2 years, so House Seats membership is a waste of money for us. I'm thinking somewhere around 2020 or 2021 House Seats lost it's connection to 1st rate shows at major venues. No more concerts at T-Mobile Arena or Allegiant Stadium. We have been very happy with our subscription and have renewed. We even convinced a couple of friends to sign up, too. Others may not have had the same luck as we do/did, but one has to consistently check in to see what's available. Thus far, we were lucky to have gone to some terrific shows --- but once they are posted, they are gone lickety-split. We were surprised when recently we saw tickets to Carrie Underwood, Back to the Future Musical at Smith Center, ZZ Top at Primm, Wow Spectacular at the Rio. Once, we even got to see Derek Hough (from Dancing with the Stars). From time to time, they also have JOI Jazz Orchestra at Notoriety. We also scored tickets to Frank Marino's Divas. For us, the best deal is seeing Menopause the Musical at Harrah's. We have enjoyed this so much that we've taken visiting friends to see it, and they all roared with laughter too. Some local services even posted on House Seats --- so I've had a free manicure/pedicure and a haircut through them. Just seeing one or two really good shows makes our subscription oh, so very much worth it! read more

They've had a two year for the price of one when I've purchased, so I figured why not. It ended up being a great investment! Pre-Covid there were tons of opportunities, such as Carrot Top or Donny Osmond, and once we were offered the opportunity to be seat fillers for a music video! It's since shriveled down to relatively unknown stand-up comedians and small self-produced shows at one-off venues. Just went first time last night to Kimmel's club and it was fantastic! Kimmel gets all the comics I like-Josh Wolfe, Steve Byrne, Michael Yo. It is often difficult to get tickets. Sometimes they come to email, other times pick up at box office, occasionally you get to the venue and the show is canceled. Then they sold me House-Eats and I lost all my $$$. The excuse was Covid. We'll still nothing for my $$$. read more

DON'T BY THEIR TEXT ALERT SERVICE. It sounds good to be notfied when a new in demand show comes up. Here is the problem. They oversell the service so when they do send out a text message alert, about once a month, they send it to so many subscrbers that the site crashes and you are unable to login. I'm happy with my subscription. I went into it knowing it wouldn't be a lot of top acts. I've seen some really great shows nonetheless! I actually bought it right before a magician I really liked was coming to town, hoping that he might come up on their list. And he did! So the first performance basically paid for the year subscription. I had an issue once, wondering why I kept seeing just 1 ticket on this show. Within minutes they called me to assist! House Seats is a great website based company to get tickets to all sorts of events from concerts to comedy shows to magic and special events. Here's how it works. You select either the two ticket or 4 ticket package yearly membership. You check the website for listings of what shows are available and reserve. Most shows you go to the will call ticket office of the venue to claim your reserved tickets up to an hour advanced before the actual show starting time. Just print out your confirmation or do what I do and save trees by just showing your ID. Attend and enjoy! Of course the catches are that you have to be a local, person picking up the tickets is the same person on the account, and actually have to pick up the tix you reserved or you will be charged a 20 dollar fee per ticket. That is understandable because heck if everybody reserved and not pick up then the people that actually want to go couldnt because there are no more tix to reserve. Accountability is a must. Just recently they have added an option for an extra fee if you want to get notified by text if tickets to a certain show has become available. I have heard of nothing but complaints since its inception. Mainly because when you get the text, accessing the website is next to impossible for everybody that got the text is trying to access the website but it cant handle the heavy flow of traffic so that crashes and times out. In closing, I used to think having an account was awesome but with the new feature, it has kind of been annoying. House seats USE to be really awesome. I know businesses took a hit because of Covid, but this is literally ridiculous. I've been looking daily since I bought another membership in August. All the time there are comedy shows that have awful ratings, and many burlesque tape shows which are either your thing or not your thing. I've seen carrot top on there a couple of times. An additional update. Over last last month, House Seats implemented a $49 membership upgrade fee in addition to their normal cost. If you upgrade, you'll supposedly get text messages of new shows available before anyone else. This is unacceptable. It basically makes my membership worthless. I already paid for my membership and now they are making it much more difficult for me to get notified of good shows. It's like they are extorting us to pay the additional fee. I refuse to pay this $49 fee. Too bad I cannot cancel my membership and get a refund. I will not be renewing when my current membership ends. Showtickets4locals has a membership upgrade fee. I'm a brand new customer and I tried to get 2 Opium tickets for tonight and while the tickets were in my cart and i pressed next, I got an error message letting me know that there weren't any tickets. Also, if theres any problems or questions, they have great customer service! In order to get the big shows you need to constantly check the site. After reading the negative comments, it's clear that many purchased this membership with no real idea how it works and/or they had unrealistic expectations. My experience has been exemplary and I have seen MANY amazing shows and events. Those include Donny Osmand, Alannis Morrisette, Professional Bull Riding, college basketball, professional wrestling, several TOP known comics, Academy of Country Music Awards, Piff the Magic Dragon, Carrot Top, Blue Man Group, Rich Little and many others. It should be obvious the amount I paid for my membership was covered in just one of this big events. Here is the simply guide to success in the utilization of the membership. The big shows pop up on the website and due to the limit of tickets they have available, they often disappear quickly. The best way to success is to FREQUENTLY check the website. I use my computer a lot and run the website in the background to check the updated list. If you are one to say, "I don't have time to watch the website", I understand. But you can't expect to score top notch shows if you don't have time to monitor it. Unfortunately, if you want to maximize the benefits, this is the only way to do it. They offer a text notification for major events but I do not subscribe to it since I have the time to check the website frequently. I have attended many of the "B List Shows" people mentioned and found them to be very entertaining. You might be surprised at these productions and you can alway Google the show or performer to see if it might be for you. I have to date, NEVER had a problem with tickets not arriving before the show or being available to pick up. That is a big factor as time is valuable and don't want it wasted. I joined this in 2019 and was not all that impressed with the seats I was able to get via this app, and only got two grade C shows, but they did cover my investment ,so I did rejoin, hoping it would improve. An announcement came out that they would be offering a similar program for restaurants, called House Eats and I paid and joined that, too. HouseEats was to open in April, 2020 and then the pandemic hit. I was notified that they would extend my House Seats membership in 2021(they didn't have any good shows) and never heard a word or got a refund for HouseEats. I would never recommend this company.
