    Pupusas De Queso Con Chicharron

Hands down, the best pupusas I have ever tasted! I love coming here for quality pupusas. They are big and stuffed with whatever it is you want them with. I always ask for the pupusas to be made a bit more crispy and thick, which they never fail to do. They always serve me fresh, hot, cheesy pupusas, wether I am eating in or calling ahead to order a take out order. The wait time is usually about 15-20 minutes when calling and ordering ahead and about 10-15 minutes when eating inside the restaurant. There is not restaurant parking and the restaurant is located on a busy street, so it is quite difficult to find street parking in front of the restaurant at night

La sopa de patas y 7 mares están riquísimas. La gente es muy amable. Recomiendo llamar en adelantado si quiere ordenar para llevar

Really just the best pupusas on the planet. I heard of Conchitas via word of mouth at family dinners and really has to go in and check it out for myself. Located in the Salvadorian Corridor of LA, park on Pico & go right in. Conchitas is unassuming and modest, no thrills here. Staff is super sweet but their English is limited so be sure to know the key Spanish words you care to use! I had a large, family sized order which took about 45 mins to make including cheese and pork pupusas, plus arroz en leche and had an ensalada de fruitas to drink while waiting (yum). Each pupusa cost about $2.30, so for a party of five, was only about $34! With the order, corrtido was included which is like a pickled coleslaw. I also purchased the arroz en leche, which is so sweet and yummy with the cinnamon sticks mixed in. Always a family favorite, we'll be back. One star off for interior aesthetic but minor detail as long as it's clean. Lots of families were in and out.

Very authentic Salvadoran food. Hands down best pupusas I've had in the US. Service was very nice and friendly. I would know a little Spanish if I were u but the menu had translations I think. Overall I would 1000% come again. I got the black beans, cheese, and loroco pupusa with a chicken tamale.

The food is pretty good, however cleanliness isn't their strong suit. Roaches can be seen running around the dinning area.

Las pupusas ya no saben bien; son pura masa dura sin sabor. La espera para que sirvan la comida, como siempre es eterna.

We came a couple of months ago and had their loaded yucca fries with carne asada as well as some pupusas. The meat on our fries felt really low quality-- the best way I could describe it was it tasting like frozen hamburger meat-- and gave us indigestion for the rest of the night, which was really disappointing to experience. Today we unfortunately experienced some really rude service. My bf ordered a plain water and we were given a fresco ensalada (no big deal, he likes it) We don't eat pork and ordered fried yucca on its own, just yucca frita. We were given a plate of yucca con chicharron :( I told the service we just ordered yucca frita and we were told that we did not specify that for her. I explained that we don't eat pork so we sent it back and were met with a displeasing look. I said we didn't want to yucca anymore since we had a lot of food already and she said "the kitchen already made it." So I said it was fine but just the yucca this time and she came back with the same exact plate just without the chicharron-- no visible plate change. Needless to say for the price, decline in food quality, and rude service, it's not worth coming back. At least not for a while.

We started with the ensalada, which was refreshing and had just the right amount of sweetness. For pupusas, we ordered the revueltas, loroco con queso, and frijol con queso. We tried both corn and rice dough, and honestly, both were delicious. My personal favorite was the frijol con queso with the rice dough- so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The yuca frita was exactly how it should be: crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. The chicharrón was cooked perfectly as well, and the homemade green salsa that the sweet lady helping us made was the perfect addition. She was so kind, welcoming, and always had a friendly smile, which made the experience even better. Another thing that really stood out was how clean the restaurant is. It's spacious, with plenty of seating whether you're coming with a large group, your family, or just stopping by for a meal on your own. We absolutely loved this place and will definitely be back. Next time we're bringing my Salvadoran in-laws- I have a feeling this place will get their authenticity approval too! Spanish!

So many five star reviews, I'm here to add another!…read more Ordered online, picked up for lunch, what a treat! I got 3 pupusas revueltas to go. Service was quick, there is a big dining room with plenty of seating in case you want to dine in, looked very clean. Massive pupusas with a lot of filling, not one of those restaurants that give you nothing but masa, these pupusas were legit. They come with Curtido and the usual salsa roja. So much flavor packed into these things, these are some of the best pupusas I've ever had, good size and they do not cheap us out on filling. Definitely try em if you're in the area! Parking on the street, or in the back very limited in the alley.
