Food was delicious! The banana daiquiri was to die for. The atmosphere was quite joyful with people dancing, and singing along to the live band. We were sat in the back of the restaurant where we had a view of the waterfront, the hostess was a gem I asked if we could wait for the table with the view and she cleaned the table than and there for us. Shrimp was a tad bid dry and overcooked but the scallops were great, risotto was also delicious. The Trinidad was just the right amount of Caribbean spice. First time here and super happy! Huge patio section and parking but they are making it even bigger! Not sure when the construction will be done but I'd expect within the year. Starting with drinks, that mango daiquiri is awesome! Creamy, tropical, boozy, all the good things. Then the complimentary banana and cornbread...wow! And we got it fresh and warm! We each got the chowders and both were very good. Not the best New England clam chowder but very solid. Conch chowder was a pleasant surprise and highly recommend. Then Fish tacos and jerked mahi sandwich were really great. Good cut of fish, not the tail or small part, very nice and cooked well. Fresh green beans and rice with beans for sides which were great. We wanted to treat out of town guests at a restaurant we believed to be a great experience. After being seated the wait staff took our drink order, served our water and bread. We were ignored from that point forward. People seated after our order was placed were served their beverage orders while ours sat on the bar. Brought a relative here last Easter Sunday (2024). I was embarrassed and extremely disappointed in the 3 dinners that were served to us. I ordered fish & chips and was served 3 subpar fish sticks (similar to Van De Camps frozen fish sticks from Walmart). I can't eat fries, and asked for Cole Slaw as a substitute. Fried shrimp dinner included 6 small-sized shrimp, also leaving an unsatisfied feeling. My dinner came out with 2 tiny cups of cole slaw. If you have an appetite, I wouldn't recommend this place. You're just paying for the view of the water, not the food. Needless to say, I was very hungry leaving the restaurant and had to make dinner for myself when I got home. It's way overpriced for what you receive. I will never return!! The other 2 dinners were nothing special either. I can do better at home. Regrettably, it all turned out to be unacceptable and I wish I had made Easter reservations ahead of time and landed at a higher-quality restaurant. My favorite place of all times!! This place doesn't matter how many years have passed or how many expansions/remodel they do, they are still sooo Amazing! I recently revisit for a girls night out and it was Friday night! We discovered Conchy Joe's on a recent Jensen Beach vacation. It's a very popular place on Saturday nights so the wait to get a table was over an hour (there is a way you can make reservations on line, but we didn't know about it). Luckily, they have an extremely large bar, so we ate dinner in there. My husband and I both ordered the conch sliders with apple plantains as our side. The meal was absolutely delicious. The conch was tender and cooked perfectly. I absolutely love plantains and these were even better with the mangos. The bartenders gave great service to everyone in spite of it being so busy. I wish we lived nearby so we could enjoy Conchy Joe's meals regularly. read more

Had dinner here for my husband's birthday and it was on point! We were seated immediately without a reservation. The restaurant was busy, but still had excellent service. Seafood was fresh and delicious! Loved that we could also walk out by the water after eating and check out all the fish and the stunning view of the bridge at night. We visited Jensen Beach to go to a couple mall stores and while there visited Joe's. First, very popular place. It was about 4:00 pm and the place was so busy. It's a great looking spot right on the water. Hard to really get any better than that. And inside was appropriately themed, with simple decorating. Staff was very attentive and efficient. They knew the menu well, came by to check on food and drink and was not pushy. Collectively we had a Buffalo chicken sandwich, conch fritters, Caesar salad and mussels. Everything was okay. That's the best we could say about it. Nothing was wrong. Food was prepared well and presented nicely. Just a little bland we thought overall. Yet, try it for yourself. We are just two people. Loved this place on my vacation! Wonderful fresh fish with sweet potato & honey butter coating. I highly recommend that and the conch stuffed shrimp. Another person in my party had the Conch chowder and I regret not getting that. I had the clam chowder, which was good, but tasted her Conch chowder and was blown away at the flavors. We also shared a dozen oysters. Only downfall was the cocktail sauce... slightly bland for me, so I added hot sauce. They were not served with crackers, my table-mates had to request those. The half pound peel and eat shrimp were huge, which is lovely! The cornbread and banana bread were served up hot and so moist and delicious. Service was excellent and willingly took a group photo for us. They had a live band in the bar area, but it was far enough from the dining that we enjoyed it. One of my fav restaurants on the planet. Not because the food will blow you away every time. It will, but maybe not every time. It is just the coolest place in the world. Literally. Been coming here for many many years. 10+ lost track. Live music. Fresh seafood. On the water. 2 big bars. Ring toss game outside while you wait like 10 mins max for a table, with a drink. A picture of many naked women on the wall of the men's room, riding bicycles :)) Great people, everybody's having fun. It's almost like if Pinocchio went to a casual seafood bar/restaurant in a mellow town in Florida, instead of the Island of Ill Repute, he would've come here. And PS, you will always leave full and satisfied with your meal. Some of the standouts include: Peel & eat shrimp - warm or cold (always warm duh) Clams, any way you like It's all great. Cheerful service. The calamari was really tasty. My sister's fish was perfectly done. Unfortunately I was served rock hard, over fried coconut shrimp with over salted fries. I struggled to salvage tidbits of meat from the coating. The manager was very apologetic and removed this from the bill. I should have spoken up sooner. Good ol' Conchy Joe's! I've been loving this place since I was a kid, back to when I danced all night long as a five year old to the awesome live music they always offer. It was a no brainer to come here again on our recent vacation to Jensen Beach. Not at all to our surprise, it was really busy on Friday night. We planned to arrive early, put our name in, and hang by the riverside while we waited for a table. We did just that. And lucky us, we actually got seated near the water on their patio area! It's a great ambiance overall, with the tiki-esque restaurant being all open-aired, lots of palms, and a view of the island across the river. Everyone was quick to order margaritas, in which they even made me a refreshing virgin version. My dad insisted we put in an order of the alligator bites as an app as well. Can't say I was a fan, a bit too chewy for my taste, but the rest of the table cleaned up the plate! For dinner my husband and I decided to split two entrees: the cuban sandwich and a mahi mahi sandwich. The cuban was delicious! A great combo of black forest ham and mojo pork, plus melty swiss cheese, mustard and my fave - dill pickles. I ended up eating the majority of it because the mahi just wasn't doing it for me. We ordered it jerked (per my husband's request) and I think that's what threw me off, but hey personal preference because he enjoyed it. The best was the mango glazed plantains that come as a side. Oh my goodness, give me more! Around 8pm the live music kicked off. An awesome three-piece band played island jams and oldies classics that got half the restaurant up dancing and singing. Great vibes here for sure! As for covid precautions, the staff are all in masks but that's about the extent of it. Social distancing not much enforced and most folks dining in weren't masked. This place caught my eye while driving and I had to stop and check out. The atmosphere here is great. I liked the island music playing. It's a nice chill restaurant. We sat outside. It was a beautiful day. The area overlooked the ocean it was nice. It had a narrow bridge outside that was nice to walk on. They brought us banana bread and good cornbread. They both tasted freshly made. My favorite was the banana bread it was delicious. The conch chowder was nice and chunky. It had a lot of flavor to it. To my surprise, the waitress brought a bottle of cherry over and suggested adding some to the chowder. Well, that seemed different But the Sherry was a perfect complement to the chowder. It enhanced the tomato flavor in a good way. (not a tomato lover) it was very good. It was a great suggestion. The Jerk Plantains tasted good. The chicken was delicious and a little bit spicy. I liked this appetizer. The staff was so friendly and nice. I wish I had more space in my stomach to try the fresh seafood this place is known for because I felt like I missed out on a good thing. The only thing going for this restaurant is the view. The food is mediocre and overpriced. They did not expand their kitchen when they added what is a beautiful addition with a stage for live music so they cannot even come close to keep up with the demand. The manager has entirely failed to take this into account with staffing and food preparation. Every single aspect of what was supposed to be a nice Mother's Day luncheon was delayed and ultimately became an almost 3 hour ordeal. We had a 1:30 reservation and did not get say until 2:10. Our food did not come for an hour after we sat. It took 30 minutes just to get corn bread and we were told that it was too hot to serve. When our food came most of it was cold meaning it sat - they don't appear to have any or certainly not enough food runners. They should have only allowed reservations and scheduled them so they could provide good service but no, they don't care about ruining the one day of the year that Mothers get celebrated. Enduring this torture with a hungry 5 year old only made it more of a nightmare. Not sure we will ever go back. We are locals. Take your business to Waterfront or Tide House or Hudson's or Dolphin Bar. The food is similarly priced and way better. read more

We've been going to Conchy Joes for years. The last two times we were there have not been good. Since they expanded their service and food has plummeted. On a weekend early evening we went there with family. I ordered the risotto. It was shameful. It has always been my favorite dish. My guest and I got 4 small parts of a scallop, the shrimp was overcooked to the point it was dry. The bottom of the risotto was brown and crispy as if it was heated in a pan and was left in it for too long. Plus, the portion was a lot smaller. Our waitress took a while to greet us. She never smiled once and when we asked for the cornbread (which used to be automatic) she seemed annoyed. She rarely checked on us, left our dirty dishes in front of us and did not offer refills. She didn't ask if we'd like anything else either. She spent her time over by the waitress station talking to another waitress. The ONLY time she smiled and seemed to care was when she handed us our bill. I'm really hoping Conch Joes is just going through growing pains and gets their act together soon. I'm not the only one that is disappointed here. Not going to be back or recommend you if there isn't a notable change. What a HUGE disappointment. read more

I've eaten here before and I always love it! I love the drive to the restaurant because it's a perfectly beach town with cute homes, restaurants and tranquil scenery. This restaurant looks smaller from the outside but inside it's a big sprawling building with different kinds of seating areas, a pub, the space where the live bands play, and the space where you can sit with a beautiful view of the water. I always love to sit near the water so that I can hear my conversations over the band! Our waitress was super attentive and sweet and amazing. My appetizer was the fried calamari's, it seemed a little underseasoned but the marinara sauce and tartar-like sauce they gave me made it perfect. I also got mahi tacos which were AMAZING, and the best loaded baked potato ever, and my mom got a coconut shrimp taco dinner with mango plantains (don't know those existed but they were tasty)! I'm always excited to eat here especially for the atmosphere and already looking forward to returning. Plus you can walk out to the dock after dinner and the view is insane. read more

Sad that they advertise fresh fish. They cooked it until it was dry and chewy. I guess if you're going to serve fish super thin, you should learn how to not overcook it. Not worth the $26 they charged. We were with a group so did not want to spoil everyone's afternoon by complaining and sending it back. Just a suggestion, do not order fresh fish at this restaurant. The hamburger looked good and the coconut shrimp looked good if you're not allergic to breading. I had a taste of the peanut butter pie which was delicious. After 18 spring breaks in a row spending time with my retired parents on Hutchinson Island we stopped coming to Fl until we retired and haven't been to Jensen Beach in twenty years. As a hoot we scored a condo here for a nostalgic visit to what were once our spring break stomping grounds and we were delighted to find Conchy Joes not only still here but greatly expanded. The happy hour, service and food are still legend and we were delighted to share the yellow tail snapper and shrimp tacos. Both were excellently prepared and delightfully presented. Highly recommend you take the time to enjoy this classic Florida tiki bar and restaurant. We are happy to report that sometimes you can go back and have a great meal. read more

Great spot on the Indian River with a tucked away vibe. Sat outside on the deck. Great views of the water. Staff was very friendly and the service was on the spot. We ordered the peel n eat (steamed) to start. They were little over done but that's OK. Not the first time that's ever happened. They come seasoned so ask for plain if you want to season them yourself. The server brought a basket with fresh, warm banana bread and cornbread. OMG it was good. We had the mahi tacos and fresh catch (yellowtail) sandwich. Really good. With fresh catch fish, you can't go wrong. Love this place! We'll be back. read more

Hi I'm Tony, we had dinner , just my wife and I. We have been here several times and always a joy. I loved coming on a Thursday night one time to hear the steel drums and Reggae music. The food is always amazing. Service exceptional and afterwards watching the catfish lol. We like it so much that we are having guest from West Palm and Melbourne visit and will be taking them for lunch at 12:30. I know we will enjoy our visit. As it is we live in Delaware and always come here, GiGi's and Chucks just because of the food and ambience. Never in the 20 years we lived here have we been disappointed.
