Love the fresh produce selection - both fruits and vegetables - being offered at this market. And keep your eyes peeled for some good deals. I got some huge mangoes for $1 each and they were sweet, juicy, and delicious. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful - when I asked about a particular item that I saw an ad for at the front of the store, they helped look for it for me. I was quite impressed at their service. I would definitely go back to this store to get more fruits and veggies for sure. The store was a bit tight to maneuver around but it wasn't a bother for me.

    Concord Produce - July 2020

*****Customer Experience During the COVID-19 Pandemic***** Concord Produce Market has been around for a long time. It's located at the corner of Monument Boulevard and Detroit Avenue, across the street from Costco. Since the beginning of the pandemic, I've been doing all the grocery shopping for my mother. I know it's an oxymoron, but she's what I called a "meat-eating vegetarian". She loves her fresh fruits and vegetables and usually is not satisfied with the ordinary stuff. After doing some research, I added this place to my shopping rotation because of its convenient location and large selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. I usually come here early in the morning to avoid the crowd. If you decide to visit here during peak time, be prepared to get in line. Depending on staffing, you may see someone cleaning the shopping carts and control the number of people entering. The interior is pretty small so social distancing can be a problem sometimes. Fruits and vegetables are on display inside and outside the market in a small covered area. I find the selection here to be larger than most supermarkets and wholesale warehouses. Pricing is extremely reasonable. Aside from the usual fare, you will also find a good selection of exotic items available. I particularly love their Asian vegetables (bok choy, choy sum, Napa cabbage etc). They are a lot fresher than the stuff you find at 99 Ranch. They also have a small fish section inside the market. It's clean and well organized. The staff here is always polite and helpful. Overall, this is a great place to shop for fresh fruits and vegetables! BONUS MATERIAL: - Major credit cards accepted. - Small parking lot on site.

I had just left Costco, and the prices advertised outside Concord Produce Market as I drove by made me decide to make an extra stop before heading home. Unfortunately, most of what I bought badly missed the mark. This visit was Friday, March 4, and as you can see from the photo of the bananas, they are still green -- nine days later. (They were also not cheap like most of the other fruit.) The pineapples had some sweet parts, but that didn't make up for the rotten parts. The blueberries were very disappointing. The only decent items I bought were the tomatoes and avocados.

Selling old corn that's great. Terrible! Be careful buying produce from this place. I have tried a few times. Produce old and dried up.

Looks great, tasted rotten, bad shrimp.

Do they have fruits and vegetables... sure. Are they cheaper than say, Safeway... yeap. Is it worth the lower cost... nope, not for me. I got there close to closing, they were packing up for the night. Outside an older female customer had several packages of strawberries open as she picked through them to create her "perfect" package. GROSS. The lady picking through the packages... not their fault. The 3 employees packing up stuff around her and not saying anything, 100% on them. Hello COVID? They were cleaning the floor with something that smelled like bleach, while customers were still in the store. Really? Look around, the wood bins and crates are just dirty. How do you sanitize wood? You can't and they obviously don't. How does a store have produce in cardboard bins that stay out overnight only surrounded by a wire fence. Hello mice and creatures? Anyways... I went there for shrimp, figured they were on ice , they have to be fine. I bought a pound. The next day I peeled the shrimp, they were just slightly slimy when I peeled them but they smelled OK. I cooked to perfection... the first bite... clearly they were NO good. They tasted rotten. Tried a 2nd one...nope. Full pound in the trash. This place leaves a bad taste in my mouth...literally. There are too many cleaner, better run places to get produce and fish. Hello Sprouts!

The store lacks hygiene and the staff were rude. Much better options in the local area.
