We checked in on a Friday afternoon (bad bunny concert) the staff were very friendly. The elevators were broken which was an issue as I have a bad knee and walking up and down isn't ideal. (Wasn't broken our entire stay, but relevant nonetheless). The room was beautiful and we had a nice ocean view. The housekeeping staff also very friendly. The restaurant in the hotel was mid. And the service was bad. I unrolled a silverware only to find a nice kiss embedded by someone's lipstick. Cute. The infinity pool was nice and warm and they even had a DJ on Saturday afternoon. The outdoor bar staff were attentive and the drinks were good.

Wish I discovered this place earlier, love chilling under the sun here! The coconut mojito is delicious, bartenders are very friendly and nice! It's an adults only hotel so no kids running around the pool.

Condado Ocean Club has a few things going for it: the views, the pool, and the staff. I did not have a bad time but I would not stay here again. It's a small, boutique hotel in Condado. While there is not much in the immediate vicinity, a 10-minute walk can prove fruitful and Ubers are available within minutes. Staff is fantastic. From Andres at check-in to Alfredo (an absolute gem) and Juan (I think) on the pool deck, and everyone else we interacted with, the staff were amazing. So friendly and so helpful. We had an ocean view room and the view was perfect. The beds were OK, not great, and had I realized they were low (I need a high bed), I would not have stayed here. Cleanliness is majorly lacking. There were hairs (not ours) in the bathroom. While I never saw a bug, there was a dead bug on the bathroom door frame. Our room never should have passed inspection. The design, while aesthetically pleasing, is not great from a functional standpoint. The shower is walk-in but the handle is under the showerhead. Also, it's a glass half-door, so water was constantly spilling into the main part of the bathroom when we showered. We went through lots of towels because of that. I was excited because the towel rack looked like a warmer as well, but alas, it was not. The only two hooks were behind the bathroom door, as was the rack, so nothing could dry. Our sink did not have a drain cover, so it was hard to wash our clothes. The hair dryer barely worked yet got so hot that you could smell the plastic burning within minutes. There was one chair for the seating area. A Curio cabinet that hosted the minibar did not close properly and a picture was hung crooked. We did appreciate double luggage racks. However, Condado Ocean Club felt cheap, and I understand that at $350/night, you are only getting a basic hotel and the bare minimum, but I was hoping for a little better. The room was serviced once during our stay and that was a disappointment. No vacuum, no cleaning of the the bathroom/mirror, just trash removal, towel replacement, and beds made. We wanted new sheets and missed that we had to put the placard on the beds, so had to contact housekeeping to get new sheets. Elevators are small and the elevator floors were always dirty. The pool was great. It's an infinity pool overlooking the ocean so we loved it. It was clean (we witnessed morning vacuuming/cleaning of the pool, so that was good). Water was cool so it was refreshing. The food and drink we had from the pool deck were good. However, if you are considering a day pass, don't do it. The cabanas are not worth the price. The cushions/pillows are old and dirty. There was always hair and debris on the deck, even in the cabanas, plus it is super slippery. Ocean Club has very fun vibes. They have events at their restaurant next door, like a rum tasting, and supposedly, a DJ at the pool on weekends. And the staff is great. But I would not return.

I mean overall its cool. There are times where the valet is hard to reach. There are times when no one is at the front desk but overall its good. The staff try hard and the hotel is in a good location. Would I stay again? I would probably go somewhere else to compare but the hotel is clean, nice and modern, not to big. I would recommend since this was my first time coming to the hotel

We were a bit on the fence given some of the reviews, but honestly had a really lovely stay. We were only in town for three nights but the hotel's location allowed us to wander around a good bit. We did not eat at the hotel but did have pool side drinks. Hotel bar price, but they were good pours and well made. The view from the hotel room was ABSOLUTELY the best part. Hotel staff were very pleasant and the gym was not bad. We've had some pretty horrible hotel gym work outs, but really like the brightness of the gym as well as the equipment. Would definitely stay again!

If you want a relaxation day you have to rent a Cabana at the Ocean Club! Beautiful infinity pool overlooking the beach. The food here is good too, I highly recommend the truffle fries. My friend loved the shrimp Caesar salad as well.

For what we are paying the amenities here are low. Three restaurants in the hotel BUT two are only open Fri-Sun. You will not be accommodated if you don't have a reservation because they are full (stares at empty restaurant at 6:30). The room was nice enough but the beds were terrible, just soft and lumpy. There is a minibar with 350 ml wine and liquor for $45/bottle and juice and soda for $15 each. Water bottles were a bit scarce because housekeeping never had them on their carts and directed us to the front desk, where they told us to ask housekeeping. Because single bottles of water were like $12, MG walked down the street to a bodega and bought 2 gallon bottles for $3 each and we just refilled our own. Front desk staff were not ever helpful and it started to feel like we were pests. Be aware no one at the hotel will help you change a bill - like a twenty for five ones? Nope. Neither will the bar. They claim they are cashless but they are not. Mildly irritating. The pool area is small but the Infinity pool was pretty cool although shallow and narrow. The pool deck is in the sun by 10 but out of the sun by 2pm. We ended up only eating one lunch from the restaurant Social, served poolside. We did have their much hyped Social cocktail the afternoon we were leaving and it was good enough we had two. But the kick in that cocktail was supposed to be a flower-infused foam that makes your mouth tingle; instead it was a topped with a tiny bud that when sucked did have a tingle. There really isn't much of a beach, just a narrow strip of sand flanked by enormous rocks. The wind was so strong when we were there the beach was closed because the waves were enormous. I wouldn't go back to this hotel, I think I'd opt for an all-inclusive with an actual beach.

We stayed at the Condado Ocean Club for several days this month. Nice place! The staff was very responsive and friendly, very accommodating! The room was spacious and nice. Clean and modern! Nice bad! We had an upper floor king room overlooking the beach. If we went back, we'd opt for a 2nd floor room (I think it's the 2nd) ocean view, those rooms have balconies. Nice restaurant (separate review), serving food all day! The hotel is centrally located in the Condado area, lots of restaurants, shops, night spots within walking distance. We'd stay there again... recommend the Condado Ocean Club!

My friend and I came straight from the airport to eat and spend time by the pool. The service we received at the restaurant was pretty poor. The hostess and our waitress were very rude, and the worst part was that it took them a long time to take our orders and bring the salads we ordered. We arrived in the morning and there were two other groups, a woman and two men, sitting there who had already eaten and paid their bills. I don't understand why there was such a delay, but when two white families arrive, Yesenia wants to be punctual and attentive. They came, ordered their food, and their food arrived almost instantly. That's not how customer service works. Every customer should receive high-quality service, especially if they choose to spend their money at your establishment. We were not rude or displayed any kind of off putting behavior so I don't understand why our service was so bad. All that, for the Caesar salads to be basic and not that good. The only reason I'm leaving two stars, is because Alejandro at the Bar in front of the pool was spectacular. He was extremely personable and attentive to all of the guests.

Stayed here 4 nights during my most recent trip to Puerto Rico. I am glad I didn't read the reviews before booking my stay here. Some of these reviews sound nothing like the experience I had here. The hotel is extremely clean! The decor is fresh and inviting. The staff is so friendly, they greet you with a smile and are happy to fulfill all of your requests. We did book last minute so the only king sized bed they had was a laguna view but it was still pretty amazing. The room is spacious. There is a couch, desk, mini fridge, safe and coffee maker. As others have noted there is no microwave, but to be honest I think that's a trend now. I haven't seen one in many rooms at other hotels either. The room was cleaned every morning. The only thing that could have been improved is one morning they took all of our towels and didn't replace them. They brought them up quickly when I asked for them though. We were on the 9th floor, so maybe we were just too far up to hear, but I did not hear loud music or this "party" atmosphere other reviewers complained about. I was in the pool most nights until it closed and it was a very relaxing time every night. I enjoyed not having any children running around. The adults only atmosphere is honestly so perfect! We did take a video of the room upon departure because I was scared we would get overcharged, but all of our deposit came back. No issues there at all. The beach is beautiful to look at and lay out and catch some sun. However, it is rocky so going into the water may not be a good idea. It is an eco-friendly hotel though. I find that hotels like that don't mess with the natural environment of the beaches. Not a big deal to me because there are plenty of other spots nearby to get into the water. If you're not planning to ever leave your hotel this may be a turn off for you.

One of the best hotel experiences I have had so far and all because of the staff. The staff is great and caring and are all professional. Issac with valet/front desk and Giovanni with the bar/restaurant both deserve a raise. They were both awesome and went above and beyond for us. Thank you guys!

Bar tenders Karla & Carlos! They are great!

They recommended so many amazing places to eat and shop, in and out of the property. The prices for food on the property were reasonable and there were a lot of different options for food choices. The big Concha restaurant on the property is absolutely gorgeous at night but it is a bit pricier than the other food options on the property. There are 4 pool ameneties you can choose from, with one being adults only. I loved that you have the different pool options. However, I wish the pools were bigger. I felt like it made more sense to have fewer pools but, bigger to fit more people but, we were comfortable in each. The beach is beautiful and every day there were plenty of surfers riding the high tide waves. It wasn't the best beach for swimming since the tide was so high and waves were really strong but, lifeguards are on the property to help those who have trouble getting in and out. We stayed close to shore to prevent any accidents and enjoyed watching surfers ride the waves each day.

We booked an "ocean view" room, which was really more of a nice 45-degree angle looking down the length of the beach. Still enjoyable, just something to keep in mind when booking. Some reviews mentioned dirty rooms, but our experience on the 8th floor was the complete opposite. Our room was spotless when we arrived, and housekeeping returned it to that same condition every day. Honestly, it was probably the best housekeeping service I can remember at a hotel. On the other hand, we had the same A/C issues others have mentioned. The room simply wouldn't get cool enough the first two nights, but the engineering team fixed it when we finally inquired. The room itself worked really well for a family. The pullout sofa was surprisingly nice, the shower was very spacious, having the toilet behind its own separate door made getting everyone ready much easier, and the room key is a wristband, so it's easy to keep with you all the time. Unlike some of the other places we visited, it's also removable if you'd rather not wear it. The only other area I'd mention that could be improved is the front desk and concierge. There were a few times they seemed unmanned when we walked through the lobby, and while everyone was friendly, we didn't get the sense they had enough firsthand knowledge of the area to tailor recommendations to different interests, ages, or travel styles. The hotel definitely has a nightlife vibe. Every evening the lobby filled with people heading out in club attire, and the casino is a nice little bonus if that's your thing. The lobby itself is large, clean, and often had a good balance of customers being served and available space for others. The pools were nice, though I'd like to see the third pool reopened before maybe considering it a four-star stay. The beach is pleasant, with plenty of room to relax in the sun, but be warned that the hotel advises against swimming, and multiple locals elsewhere told us the same thing because of the currents. Plenty of people were wading well out or swimming close to shore, but I'd be nervous if I had kids venturing out very far or swimming alone. If swimming is your goal, there are safer beaches just a short Uber, taxi ride, or even a reasonable walk away. (I think the closest one recommended to us was about a half mile to the west.) The location is another big plus. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, Old San Juan is just a quick Uber away, and the sushi bar in the hotel was surprisingly affordable and much better than I expected for hotel sushi. Overall, I'd probably stay here again if visiting that area. It has a great location, comfortable rooms, excellent housekeeping, and enough amenities to keep most people happy. Just go in expecting a lively atmosphere, and hopefully get a room with an A/C unit that's already behaving itself.

The only logical explanation is that this policy makes the room prices appear to cost about $200 a night less than the real charges. Otherwise, why not just raise the advertised price by 20%? There is no doubt the property is in a gorgeous location, sitting directly on the ocean. The buildings are in good condition and the staff is courteous. But, I experienced several shortfalls compared to my expectations for this price point. The suites are provided a "butler," but the available hours are 10am to 6pm. The service would be more accurately described as a concierge. Bringing coffee in the morning is not on the list of duties, nor assisting with unpacking or packing or other typical butler activities. Sending out laundry the day before my departure, I asked to have it folded so it would be easier to pack. Everything came back on hangers. My room did not receive turn-down service and fresh towels during the third night of my stay. I asked to have a car booked to the airport from the hotel. The butler got it backwards and booked it from the airport to the hotel. Good thing that I took a close look at the confirmation and noticed the routing was backwards. The breakfast restaurant, Ola, is extremely crowded in the morning with a 30 to 60 minute wait being typical in my experience. The front of the property is in a skeevy neighborhood so walking somewhere else for breakfast isn't a realistic option. It's not bad, but also not a top tier. property.

**Workers Entered Our Private Balcony and Saw My Wife Changing**…read more We paid about $5,000 for a penthouse at The Condado Plaza Hotel expecting a relaxing, private, and comfortable stay. Instead, we experienced a series of serious issues that made our visit stressful and unacceptable, including flooding, ants, constant construction noise, and a major invasion of privacy that should never happen at any hotel, especially one at this price point. On the first night, the air-conditioning unit flooded the room, leaving water on the floor and creating an uncomfortable and unsafe environment. On the second night, ants appeared throughout the space, adding to the frustration and making it difficult to relax. Each morning, we were woken up by loud drilling and construction noise directly outside our bedroom, making it impossible to rest or enjoy the room we had paid so much for. The most alarming issue involved our "private" balcony. Construction workers entered the balcony without any notice or permission. They knocked and then proceeded to look directly into our bedroom. After the first incident, we contacted hotel staff and the police were called. We were assured that this would not happen again and that our privacy would be respected moving forward. Unfortunately, it did happen again. During the second incident, my wife was in the bedroom changing clothes, and the workers could clearly see inside. This was deeply humiliating, frightening, and a complete violation of our privacy and sense of safety. We reported these incidents multiple times to hotel staff, including security and the front desk, but no manager took meaningful responsibility or provided a proper resolution. At checkout, we were promised that our entire stay would be fully comped due to the severity of the issues. That promise was never honored. We followed up with Hilton Corporate several times through calls and emails, but we never received a response or any form of accountability. This experience represents a complete failure of safety, privacy, customer service, and basic hospitality standards. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting a secure, respectful, and professionally managed stay.
