This was our third time dining with Condado, and our first takeout. Everything was fantastic. I had the 4 hard taco bundle. Corn shells. Two ground beef and two chicken. They were incredible. Very moist with a tangy spicy sauce. Each wrapped in foil. My wife had the Southwest West bowl with chicken. She loved it. I had a bite. It was delicious. We also had queso and guacamole. Both were delicious and came with their own bag of chips. Everyone I came into contact at the location for pickup was friendly (eg ASMR). The place was busy, inside and outside. They had the screened garage door up. Very nice touch. Highly recommend. We'll go back for sure. read more

First time here and it was pretty good! We sat outside because we had our dog and this was waiter service. They were fast and efficient. The food came out very quickly and overall we liked it. I would try something a little different next time - my bowl was a bit dry, it needed a wetter salsa or something. But I would return! Also plenty of parking. read more

We stopped into the new Condado Tacos for a quick drink and appetizer while shopping around the area. The new building is a great layout with some crazy artwork around the perimeter. We sat at the bar, had a super nice, friendly, and attentive bartender, and ordered the chips and three dip app. The salsa and gauc were good but the queso with chorizo was wonderful!!! The next time we might just get a big bowl of that! We would love to go back and have lunch or dinner there and try out some tacos. read more

It does pay to download their app, because you do get special deals, for example yesterday was national guac day and I got an offer for a free small guac. I also have a coupon in there for another free queso to use by the end of the month. You accrue points on dollars you spend and then you get money off your visit once you accrue a certain number of points. The positives are their different quesos, I like their traditional guacamole & their chips are fresh & crispy. The 3 Buds with 3 different dips is good. Tacos there are hit or miss for me. I did like my chicken verde bowl yesterday. I like their margaritas, but I don't like when you order a "house margarita" and they try to upsell you by making you get a more expensive type of tequila! The whole point of ordering house anything is because it should be well tequila and it should be cheaper than the other margaritas on the menu. But I've been there twice and ordered a house Margarita and the first time the bartender said do you want this type of tequila or this type of tequila? And not being a tequila connoisseur I said I don't know which do you think is better? I was also thinking that's really weird. I've never been given a choice of tequila in a house Margarita . So of course she picked an expensive tequila for me and I was astounded that I ended up paying like $20 each for two margaritas!! I'm guessing the bartenders must be asked to do this, because I had a different bartender a couple weeks ago and now I knew their trick and I ordered a house Margarita again and she asked me what type of tequila I wanted and I just blankly looked at her and said house. Because I think that's kind of a scam bar trick to use when someone orders a house drink. If you're gonna want a fancy tequila, you're gonna just order a margarita and specify a specific tequila in my opinion. Yesterday was not busy during my visit by my server although friendly & checked back often, would be rushing away before I was finished ordering. Which was weird. Then they didn't take off my coupon for the guac so I had to mention again. Also FYI, Condado, uses all plastic take out bowls, sporks, etc so it feels like take out even though you're eating in. And their cheap metal barstools are SOOOO uncomfortable. Anyway I stop now & again when I get coupons. My food has always been ready quickly, but I'm never there at busy times. read more

I'm thinking the in-restaurant experience is better than the takeout experience? I've gotten takeout twice and been disappointed. The first time they forgot items in my order and I wasn't impressed with the tacos I got. The second time I got a burrito and it was pretty bad. 5 tiny slivers of beef and all rice, beans and cheese. I guess eating at the restaurant is a better experience, not sure. So maybe I won't get takeout! read more

4.5 stars, rounded up. We love Condado! My wife is a vegetarian and Condado has so many options, she is excited by the variety when she makes bowls, and can't get enough of the jicama slaw. The flavors and combos are great. Shout out to the Lucy's fire tacos, I always add one on to my take-out order. We've only been in to eat a few times, but service has always been good, and the staff is friendly. The only .5 star we'd knock off, is because we never know just what size our bowls will be. Great food, I have been wanting tacos for about 3 weeks and this place hit the spot! Great food, great service and clean restaurant with friendly staff. The waitress personally made my last taco I ate as I requested it to be the hottest taco they can make, which was quite good but sadly not super hot/spicy. My Fiancée ordered the "make your own Nachos" and they were quite good. The chips and all the ingredients were all fresh and well made and gladly not soggy. (Hate Soggy Nachos) (My waitress could have added more to make it hotter but didn't because she didn't want to charge me for extra stuff without my permission which I really respect.) Condado Tacos is a chain restaurant that has locations in several states. Please see my attached photos for the menus for their appetizers, tacos, sides, and beverages. My husband and I ate lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. At the host stand, an employee immediately smiled and greeted us, and then he seated us at a clean and spacious table. The restaurant had a section for a bar, and the walls showcased colorful murals that were hand-painted by local artists. Soon, our friendly waitress introduced herself and gave us menus. After a short wait, she took our orders and brought our beverages. After another short wait, she brought out our appetizers and entrees. Throughout the meal, she checked in with us to make sure that we were satisfied. She mentioned that the restaurant has a rewards program. Here are my reviews for our foods: Queso blanco - 5 stars - This queso was gooey, and it tasted extremely cheesy in a wonderful way. Guacamole - 4 stars - This guacamole was fresh, and it tasted good, but it could have used a little more flavor. Tortilla chips - 4 stars - These chips were slightly overly baked and oily, but I liked them. Power Plant taco - 4 stars - This taco contained veggie chorizo, poblanos, lettuce, pico de gallo, jalapeños, cheddar, and sauce. I thought that it tasted decent, but it was not my favorite. Dutch Dragon taco - 5 stars - Two shells--one hard and one soft--contained guacamole, portobellos, tomatoes, jicama, cabbage slaw, jalapeños, and salsas. For a plant-based taco, it tasted very good. Bad Habit taco - 3 stars - My husband ate this taco. This taco contained steak, rice, lettuce, queso, chimichurri, sauce, and no pico at my husband's request. He described this taco as "OK." Saw this place next to Firehouse and figured it would be a good dinner spot. I saw the reviews and figured I'd try it out. The hostess was a bit brash but I figured she was having a bad day so I passed it off. My waitress was nicer but not very engaged to provide more information about the food. I ordered the sweet Lucy with orange chicken which was good but the description mentioned cheese and quac and never saw the quac between the hard and soft taco, I guess they were conserving it for other patrons. The smoked cheddar dip was tasty with a little heat but it came out cool and instead of a dip it was more like a spread because it was very thick like pudding. The waitress said most people order two tacos but the dip and the one taco was plenty of food. The restaurant was a bit messy when I got there, several tables were still dirty with empty bowls and plates but my table was clean. We enjoy stopping in and getting some grub that isn't your everyday fare. There is a lot to take in with the wall art and the tvs so the kids are happy as well. We've never waited long so it fits into a busy shopping day or as a break during errands. The beer selection isn't too bad and usually has some extras to discover. Okay, so would you care about eating with plasticware if you were eating at a dine-in restaurant that serves alcohol? I don't think of myself as a snob, but plasticware and drive-in quality napkins from tabletop dispensers disappoints me. The food is not portrayed as drive-in and isn't inexpensive. How many other ways can ownership cut corners and not leave patrons feel under-appreciated? To me serving your meal in plastic baskets with paper liners is in the category of cheap. Spending $10-20 per plate, be it lunch or dinner, for what appears to be nuvo-mexican is reasonable. Just not consistent with how it's presented for drive-in eating. Came here for happy hour on a Friday and our server was super accommodating. We had our fifth person coming a bit late and they were more than happy to just take our orders (fifth person included), and serve us when said person finally arrived. We had the strawberry and pineapple margarita pitchers and the strawberry was by far my favorite. I'm fortunate that I know my allergy and my reaction is mild, but this indifference could kill someone. The seats in Condado are also super uncomfortable because they try to turn tables over quickly and want to get you out. My friend and I love Mexican food and frequent all of the restaurants in our area. We were so excited to try Condado so the disappointment was unexpected. The ONLY bright spot was the service. Our server was excellent even though she was new! Perfect in every way!! But the reality is that the food is the reason we go and it was a fail. There are no photos of the food on the physical menu but the photos online look wonderful. My friend ordered the Fire Roasted Bowl and I built my own bowl and both were unbelievably BLAND and amounted to a bowl of plain white rice. In order to add any taste we asked for additional containers of salsa. That didn't help either. The bowls are large, however, they are 85% base. The toppings are so skimpy that most of the base is exposed. I can only assume that the management is trying to cut costs because there is no other logical explanation for the quality of the food we received. Sorry Condado, we will not return. read more

I'm basing my review solely on takeout as I've not eaten in the restaurant as of yet. After three tries, I think I'll stick to other tacos in the area. I do like that many of their tacos take the double taco approach (hard shell and soft shell) and their queso is quite good, but that's where the rest falls apart... Of all the tacos I've tried, they are all cloyingly sweet in flavor, it's as if every sauce is full of sugar or lime (without the citrus tartness you'd expect). This also extends to their elote side which practically tastes like fruit salad (and not in a good way). Their guacamole is putting it mildly... Gross. Condado is consistently good. With Cranberry opening the week I went I wasn't sure how it would be. Often times new locations need a little time to work out the kinks. That wasn't the case here. We went late on a Saturday to avoid some of the new venue crowd. The place was somewhat wide open which was great. I started with a half order of smoked cheddar queso and it was great. Next ordered two tacos. Korean bbq and my go to Lucy Fire. The Korean bbq was decent. The Lucy Fire was awesome as always. Not the best beer list. But this location is so much more convenient than the others. Will be back. read more

My friend ordered one of the predetermined tacos (chicken with soft shell) and he said it was good. I got build-your-own (brisket with soft shell) it was good. Neither (we both decided) was anything special. They tasted like something I make at home. The service was friendly and attentive. Very efficient. The ambiance is fun, but bar-like. Condados Tacos is incredible! As someone with gluten and dairy allergies, they have everything labeled on the menu as containing dairy, vegan, gluten free, spicy, etc which is incredibly helpful! I love the build your own taco option. I usually get 2-3 build your own tacos and a side of chips and salsa or guac. I really love the pork and chorizo tacos. The spicy shells are also really good! You can't go wrong with any of their salsas or guacs either! read more
