We had an issues with the track drive coming loose. I called Conejo who fit me in the schedule that day. They came out and quickly determined the issues with the support on the outer garage wall that is primarily drywall, but we're able to install some steel supports to reinforce the facia board providing a good anchor point for the front drive support channel. They reinstalled this anchor, ran the door to insure it ran smoothly and quiet, reset the stop points and it is now running better than when new. I have used them many times for my current doors and others and always had great results. I would highly recommend them due to their ability to quickly ascertain issues and make the proper fixes and with very reasonable pricing. I would highly recommend them! read more

They were very fast to send someone out to check the issue that I'm having with my door opener, but he was also very fast to tell me that I needed a whole new system for BOTH of my doors...only one is not working! The garage door spring failed, on schedule, over the weekend. While a weekend service call was not necessary, we just wanted to get the repair scheduled for early the next week. When I called on a Sunday, I was just hoping to leave a message and "get in line". I was surprised when Jim called back and we were able to get it set up for Monday. Once at the house, Jim was very patient in that the two cars that were in the garage (one a collector car) needed to be moved so he could get access to the door hardware. Jimmy was able to schedule our new garage door within one day of our call. Chris, the installer, was knowledgeable and efficient. Our new Liftmaster is so quiet and we really like the light that comes automatically on when we go out to the garage. Brett's diagnosis was that the bottom panel of our garage door was damaged, and recommended that we replace the garage door. After getting a quote for a garage door that was in the thousands, we decided to get a 2nd opinion. He looked at the garage and did not agree with Brett's assessment of the damaged bottom panel that warranted a new door, give that the door slid up and down easily when detached from the motor. A new motor was installed and the garage worked well for over a year now. We won't call Conejo Genie Door Company again given that their assessment called for a major expenditure that turned out to be unnecessary. read more

I'm sure business is tough right now but that doesn't mean you have to take it out me, a potential 3500 dollar customer. For me, giving money to a business means I am supporting that business. I refuse to support this individual. I have no problem including his text and detailed photos of me calling his office with no response. I called him multiple times to no response. Then he has the nerve to text me and call me a liar that I called him three times and no one answered. After I sent him the screenshot of the times I called his response was "sorry it didn't work out". You may be sorry but I am not. This company came to my home and repaired my garage door in Jan .2018. In early May 2018 it would not work again. After three phone calls with no return calls they finally sent someone to take a look. He assured me he would work up an estimate for repairs and call me back that afternoon. Called with a problem. Jimmy came out and told me that I needed a spring and rod replacement. He wanted to check that he had the parts. Was going to call me later that day and come out the next day. Never heard back. I had to call him several times. Finally spoke to him. Told me he had the parts. Scheduled an appointment for a morning appointment for the next week. Never showed up. Called to rescheduled for the next day. He came out late and looked around and then told me he wouldn't do the job! Didn't like the way the mechanism was installed. He wouldn't touch it even though he saw the same thing the first time he came out. The job would take too long for him. A half day's work! I always support small business and this one didn't disappoint.Jimmie,the owner and Chris came out within 24 hours.I had a rat problem so needed to replace the seal on the bottom of the garage door.The door is over 30 years old but they didn't try to sell me a new one.They added a strip on the top of the door as well as the bottom trying to seal off any openings for the rats to enter.They also noticed a place on the fascia board that rats could get in.They were both really nice.They arrived when expected and it was a pleasant experience.I am grateful for the work they did. read more
