The customer service here is unmatched and is becoming increasingly hard to find. The phone is answered immediately by an actual person! Not a Bot. Not a recording telling me to leave a message and someone will call me back within 2 days. Not a recording that asks me to hold forever. Making an appointment was very easy. Dr. Christine Wilson, our audiologist, is a skilled clinician who expertly guided us through choices that we needed to make in an area that we knew nothing about. When i called their office to report that i had recently lost my right hearing aid, Peter at the Conejo Hearing Center, abruptly responded "your warranty has expired" . My ENT recommended that I go to CHC as a first time hearing aid patient. I contacted Ann who was quite courteous, patient and informative. I had an episode of acute one sided hearing loss which was a little nerve racking. I was inquiring about having a set of Phonak hearing aids re-programmed until my hearing stabilizes to get a new set of modern digital hearing aides. I was told that their equipment and software could not do it, but were kind enough to schedule a consultation. In the meantime, I received a call back from Connect Hearing who told me that they figured out a way to get their equipment to handle the job. If that didn't work, they gave me other solutions as using demo aids for 3 months until my ears reached a baseline. I was impressed with their desire to find a solution for me, and even researching old software to get a temporary fix for me. As a physician, I know that sometimes extra time is needed to research tricky problems. Conejo Hearing Center may be good for routine standard hearing issues, but I feel that they don't have the flexibility i truly appreciate for unique situations. read more

I bought my hearing aids through my regular doctors office but after disappointing service, lack of knowledge of devices and several frustrating appointments trying to get the sound adjusted, I made an appointment with Christine Wilson. She listened to me and was able to adjust the sound so that the high tones weren't skirtchy and upped the bass tones and was able to give me clear, sharp clarity. I had questions about the tails on my hearing aides that had been installed by a provider in another state. Peter installed the correct tails; Christine checked them, and explained how they should be installed. Afterwards I could notice a distinct improvement in my hearing since the aides had not been properly seated. I needed to get my 91-year-old mother new and improved hearing aids. My insurance company highly recommended Conejo Hearing in Westlake Village. In fact, they spoke so well of them that I made an appointment for myself as well. I arrived to find plenty of free parking just a few yards from the office. The outside of the facility was cool and calming with a babbling brook just outside, occupied with a few relaxing ducks and beautiful Koi. Inside was clean and air conditioned. The receptionist, Mary Noble, was welcoming and very pleasant to me and Mom. She attended to us without delay and offered us cold bottled water & chocolate. The examination was conducted efficiently and professionally by Audiologist Linda with the results we expected...No surprises. The recommended devices were the most up-to-date models and were covered by insurance. A few days later, Lab Tech Peter notified us on the arrival of the hearing aids. Audiologist (and business owner) Christine Wilson presented the aids to my Mother and spent a substantial amount of time making sure she, the elderly recipient, understood the proper operation. Furthermore, she scheduled a follow-up appointment to make sure everything was working as it should be. This was the most comfortable office visit I've had in years. After suffering through tinnitus and hearing loss the past few years, I finally realized I needed to do something about it. I was missing what people said. I have also been studying French for 7 years, for travel and personal enrichment. i was having a hard time catching the nuances of the language in conversation with people in France and with my French teacher here. My physician ordered a referral for me and that brought me to the Conejo Hearing Center. I've been very pleased with their caring, professionalism and ease in getting me to accept my problem. Why not correct a hearing problem if you easily correct vision issues with glasses or contacts? I received a comprehensive exam and was set up with a demo pair of the Oticon hearing aids to try. Ray Ann went through the inserting steps, adjusted them and setup up the app. I was thrilled that they can be controlled with the Oticon app and are paired with my Bluetooth on my iPhone. I looked over the Oticon website and saw that there are rechargeable aids that can be cradled, thereby avoiding changing batteries every 5-6 days. And the charger has both a Euro and US plug, as Oticon is a Danish company. This is perfect for my travels. I highly recommend Conejo Hearing. The staff, including my Audiologist Ray Ann and the owner, Christine, have made me welcome, comfortable and have given my top notch service. My aids and the rechargeable dock are ordered and will be set up soon. In the meantime, I have the demos to wear in the interim, now that I just can't live without them! read more
