This was our first time eating at Coney Dog Cafe this past Sunday. Let me tell you by saying what an amazing experience we had for lunch. First things walking into this restaurant it is very clean and the staff welcomed us with smiling faces. Our waitres was top notch, could not have asked for a better one. Super polite and checked up on us to make sure we did not need anything else with our meals. The food came out fast and piping hot! All of our food that we ordered was delicious. If I had to pick what was my favorite out of the whole lunch it would have to be the onion rings. They were nice size and had a great crunch with every bite. We will definitely be coming back to try some more great food that comes out of this restaurant with amazing prices. Thanks, Coney Dog Cafe keep up the great work!!

Very underwhelmed. I really wanted to like this place because I absolutely LOVE hot dogs. Maybe I got the wrong things but I was not happy about my purchase. I did appreciate that they made the food to order so it was hot. Here's what I ordered: -onion rings: probably the best item in my order. They were hot and delicious. But nothing I couldn't buy frozen at the store. -Cheese Dog: literally just melted cheese on a hot dog. -Chili Dog: onions and chili on a hot dog I wish the hot dog itself was better, and the bun. The hot dog tasted like a cheap hot dog bought from the grocery store in a pack for $1. Maybe there's a sausage or a better hot dog available? I think if they fried the hot dogs it might taste a little snazzier. I'll give it another try just in hopes that there's something good here.

After seeing so many pictures of the wonderful looking food here, we finally went for lunch. I ordered potato soup and a single cheeseburger with fries. My husband had a single cheeseburger with onion rings. WOW - these burgers are huge and were fresh not frozen! I can't imagine eating a double - but they are on the menu -so someone is eating them! Soup was really good and hot. Service was fast and friendly. We will definitely be back!!!

It's been a while since I've tried this place. This was a quick two coney eat in visit. The restaurant was clean and had update decor. The service was quick ! The buns were steamed as you'd expect - not soggy and slightly firm. The hot dog was fine. It almost tasted a bit too mushy. The coney sauce is difficult to describe. The beef is finely ground and dark in color. The sauce didn't really have a taste that accented the dog...but it didn't detract from it as well. Overall...I liked the place and would encourage you to try

Food was great! Service was great with only a couple employees working. They stayed steady busy and kept calm and got everyone served fast! Would go back.

Several options of hot dog which I intend to eventually try them all. I had the slaw dog, nacho dog, and the coney itself. The place is always busy but super quick and super cheap. Definitely a good little place.

Very inexpensive, great tasting dog, fries and onion rings. Ask for celery salt on your fries - the Chicago way!

I wish I could give this a minus 5 stars. Horrible owner!!! Completely disrespectful to my children who were quietly sitting at a table.

I took a seat at one of the stools at the counter. About those........this place has been around since the early 1900s, and you can tell. The stools were the size to fit people back then. My big ass barely fit on it, and this old timer next to me went to sit down, and missed the stool completely and almost took a tumble (thankfully he did not fall down). I placed my order for 2 hot dogs and a large Dr Pepper. How were they? Delicious! Coney Dogs- These dogs come with a loose meat style coney sauce, mustard and onions all on a soft steamed bun. The most awesome part, they are only $2.00 each! You can't get anything these days for $2.00. The dogs were delicious! I can see how they have been around 100+ years. If I wasn't going to another place to eat afterwards, I could have put down 4-5 dogs, easily. Service was very friendly, and I was in and out in about 20 minutes. Would definitely stop back in if I'm ever near Fort Wayne again!

I wondered what the "select concessions" were... but I guess I would find out once I placed my order. I went to the Ball Park Favorites Concession which sells the following food: chicken tenders, fries, fried chicken sandwiches, grilled chicken sandwiches, cheeseburgers, bratwurst, chili cheese dogs, hot dogs, funnel cakes, cheese curds, pretzels, nachos of all kinds, caramel corn, peanuts, candy, potato chips, cookies, and apple sauce. This concession stand also sells the following drinks: bottled water, sodas, apple juice, as well as premium and domestic draft beers. The family feast special was $2 for soft drinks and hot dogs. I was in the mood for a stadium hot dog, my family wanted chicken tenders. So i got two orders of chicken tenders and fries, a hot dog and fries and three sodas for about $32. The line does get long but the workers hustle, so i may have waited 10 minutes. If your wondering about condiments, there is a condiment station nearby to put whatever you like. I am a purist, so i just went with mustard. The hot dog was plump and flavorful, the fries were nice, crunch and salty. I had a bite of one of the tenders and they were so good! I almost wished I had gotten that instead of the hot dog... and I loved the hot dog. The cold drinks helped us survive longer in the heat... which would not let up even into the night. Great food!
