Extremely disappointed. I have been a loyal customer since this bakery opened and have purchased birthday cakes for my family for years. Today I went in to place an order for a cake for Saturday and was told they are not taking weekend orders. For a bakery that sells celebration cakes, refusing orders for the busiest celebration days of the week is frustrating and disappointing. Loyalty clearly means very little here. I went in on 9/5/25 to place an order for a rectangular cake for no more than 8 people. I was quoted $150 for a plain cake that would only have two numbers on it. The staff told me the price was because of the shape, which made no sense since I've ordered 5-6 cakes a year here, often larger, and have paid around the same. I asked to speak to the owner for clarification and to see if a fairer price could be given, but the owner refused to come out. Why ask how many people the cake is for if the price doesn't reflect that? At that rate, it's cheaper to just buy slices than order a cake. There is nothing special or complicated about making a rectangular cake. The owner's unwillingness to communicate shows a lack of basic customer service. They've permanently lost me as a customer. I'll be taking my business elsewhere to places that value their customers instead of overcharging and dismissing them. read more

These guys are the absolute best! I love them. I have to say, I usually go in there for a breakfast brioche, or a tiny dessert for myself on days I want to treat myself... nothing special. But the food is ALWAYS top notch and fresh. I bring my family members into the store and they fall in love with literally everything like they're at Disney land. Recently I had my 50th birthday party. I had them fix me up something special because I was going under the knife 3 days after my party for a breast reduction, so I had them make me a boobie cake. I stopped in to place an order of 18 cupcakes for my Sons bday. The woman in the front was very nice and helpful, she was by herself so she had to help me and another patron who was ordering a few things which took a little longer than anticipated. Nonetheless we got our order placed and paid in full there. I wasn't able to pick up the cupcakes myself but my husband said they were ready and in the back when he arrived. They were really good, decorated and packaged nicely. They tasted really good as well the cream wasn't too sweet and the cake was moist. We did notice the Oreo cupcakes were more moist at the bottom but the others werent so not sure the reason for that. Lastly I would def recommend them and order cupcakes from them again! read more

The freshest daily bread one could want. Angel's sourdough is brilliant but so are the "farmers' white," which belies its delicate almost brioche texture. Challah: YAY...and the olive loaf. I swoon over this master baker's offerings. But I warn you, stay away from his pastries. Addictive, particularly the chocolate mousse or the "lava cake," or the mini pecan pie. Angel is a master. Picky to a fault in his ingredients and care and spotless cleanliness of the kitchen and the front service area. During Covid lines were out the door into the street. For good reason. After hearing good things about the bakery from my cousin, I decided to stop by the bakery with her when she wanted to get a piece of cake. Upon entering, the bakery is spacious and the bakery goods are displayed on both sides of the cashier in glass display cases. There is a variety of cakes, tarts, and pastries and some bread which all looks very appeasing. There is also a drinks menu consisting of some standard drinks which one can usually find. In the end, we ordered the guava puff, chocolate croissant, red velvet cake, bearclaw with almost and a cheese filing (do not recall the exact name of this pastry.) Returning home, I tried each of the items and thought they were each very delicious, but the chocolate croissant was my favorite. I think this is a nice bakery and I would return to the bakery again when I am close by to try the other items there. Confectionaires Bakery stands alone in the neighborhood as a place to hang out and enjoy a cup of coffee and a pastry or two (or three...). My coworkers and I come here almost every day for an afternoon pick me up in which we talk shit and enjoy some time in their sunny environs. The shop is super cute and the cakes and pastries are high quality. I've had their cookies, tarts, cakes, and stuffed breads as well as some delicious sourdough as a free sample. Yesterday I picked a StarWars galaxy cake for my little brothers birthday and let's just say, we were all in awe. It was amazing. They truly outdid themselves. I placed an order for this place 2 weeks before I needed my cakes. Granted it was mothers day so I placed my order 2 weeks early. Friday before I needed the cakes I was told they weren't sure if they could do my cakes and I was not told a price until the very last minutes It worked out where I was able to get my cakes. Fine. I originally asked for 12pm but was told I couldn't receive them until 1:30. OKAY. The day of the initial picking up of said cakes. I was called at 1:30 on the dot and told to come in at 2 pm. I got there at 1:50 and did not leave the establishment until after 3. I was constantly told 3 more minutes or 10 more minutes. My poor Niece and Nephew were late to their own birthday party, hence causing me to miss out on the time I paid for at a venue. I asked for a manager while I was there and I was told they did not have one. I called the next day (Today) asking for some sort of compensation such as 20% or so, because I was upset about the way I was treated. The girl on the phone proceeded to giggle and tell me "I should be lucky the baker did my cake in the first place and if I want some sort of compensation or refund i should bring the cakes back." I have never worked with a more unprofessional or rude group of people. I honestly could have looked past all of this but the cakes being dry was my last straw. 10/10 would not recommend. read more

When you walk in, you're greeted by sweet smells. I've gone here twice, each time ordering a latte. The prices are on par with Starbuck's but the quality is higher. My fiance ordered a cookie with his coffee, which was melt in your mouth quality. The place sells cakkes, fresh baguettes, cookies, and individual-sized desserts, which I've not yet tried. I went today again because I couldn't believe this new business has fallen off so quickly. OMG the place is beautiful, clean and the presentation is EXCELLENT; the cakes and danishes are FRESH. They are hard and stale. You would enjoy eating off the street vendors food truck for fresher better tasting choices. I love the Bear Claw danish $3.50 but it was hard as a rock. Definitely overpriced. The girl behind the counter is nice but always on her phone with some sort of drama. They bake on premises but the stuff stays there until it sells. They won't be in business long. I asked why the danish was so hard she stated because it needs to be in room temperature but after sitting there for 20 minutes I asked for a refund but all sales are final. The danish was awful.
