I have been to Conicelli Honda four times in the last 15 years and each time I used their services I have been disappointed in some part of my dealings with them. The service personnel manning the write up area are "GOD LIKE". All knowing and although I have owned over 40 cars in my life they, the service personnel treat you as if you have no knowledge in your head. They know you do not. Even the utility people are in the same frame of mind. At least the repairs turned out well, but with their prices sky high there are many other alternatives. Smarmy service advisors, garbage service and a bad attitude. It's a shame because the waiting area is really nice, but these guys are the absolute worst. Every time my car goes in, something else breaks. Joe, their service manager, argues loudly and aggressively and says he isn't arguing. Hundreds of dollars later, my state inspection has turned into my car needing hundreds of dollars of work on stuff that was absolutely not broken before the inspection, and my original problems still aren't fixed. If I could give zero starts I would. The sales crew told me my used car was in a major accident and that the trade in would be 1k less. Well I paid for my own car fax report and it came up clean! On top of that they charged a 4k "Covid fee", meaning because of the low inventory they need to charge 4k. What?. Needless to say we didn't return or respond to their follow up phone calls. I took my car to Conicelli for a routine state inspection. They lost the key. They provided a replacement key, but then I had to return a second day in order for the backup key to be reprogrammed. The second day they could not do this in real time, so I had to make a second trip that day. I worked with Doug, and other guy, sorry but i forget his name. they both really nice, and super fast. I drive my car out of there by same day. and there is a bit hiccup in my car registration and plate issue. I lost my temper to them. but they are still help me try to figure out everything. I do recommended this place. but in other hand, i never buy a car before. so there is no comparison. and i do hope that oral promise on free oil change still count. read more

I am writing this review on behalf of my husband because english is not his first language. We want to complain about this car dealership and their unethical sales tactics. I dont know who the sales person was. My husband came in on a saturday on an impulse to buy a car. He doesnt have adequate credit history to get a car loan. If I had not been at work that day I would have never allowed this sale to take place. Because of his inadequate credit history, as well as other factors, my husband did not get approved for a car loan. The sales person applied for loans from AT LEAST 5 different banks. The fact that he was rejected from 5 banks should have told the salesman to NOT sell my husband the 2015 Crosstour. But no, this salesperson has no integrity. He financed it through Honda instead. Now my husband is stuck with a car loan with a very high interest rate for a car he didnt need (he already has a great running Acura). My husband had buyers remorse after I talked to him about the major damage he now did to his credit due to the numerous credit inquiries from all the different banks, as well as his debt to income ratio now being almost equal. We wanted to return the car, however that was not possible because the next day (sunday) the car dealership was closed. And being that my husband is a tractor trailer driver who is on the road for 3 weeks at a time and he had to leave monday morning at 4am to go back on the road, he was not able to return the car during the grace period. Is this partially my husband's fault? Yes he made a bad impulsive decision. But is it also the fault of the salesman who knew that my husbands credit history was not accurate and that he was being rejected by several banks and sold him the car anyway cause he only cared about the sale? Yes, he took advantage of my husband being a foreigner and not having much knowledge about credit and the language barrier. Whoever this sales person was has no integrity! That was the worst experience that I have ever had with the purchase of anything. If my son wasn't so excited about his new car I would have walked out after and hour.  We were made to wait over three hours to sign the paperwork and receive the car. Over three hours!!!!! Truly ridiculous. We made the deal at about 245. Came back at 5. And left there at about 830.  I suggesting going out to dinner and coming back, but was told we would be risking our spot and may have to wait longer. So we had to stay. And wait and wait and wait.  When we finally signed the paperwork it took all of about ten minutes. I have no idea why. No one could answer the question to my satisfaction. The manager at the time was aware. The salesman Ben did his best to entertain us. Literally, he was telling jokes and singing. He had to sit with us through the over three hour experience. I know that it was not Ben's fault. He is a new guy. Just doing what he was told. RIDICULOUS. NEEDLESS. WASTE OF TIME. read more

Car buyers beware!!! Hondas are so reliable but please avoid this location. (Unfortunately I bought a brand new Honda Accord 2 years ago, and 3 weeks later, it needed its transmission replaced.) The customer service is awful. I have never left pleased. They do not communicate well with one another. I recently called to schedule a software update after receiving a notice in the mail on my Accord. The first guy who scheduled my appt said 2pm was fine, the latest being 3pm. I called two days later trying to reschedule it to 3pm, and a Harry was so rude, said no, the service could never be scheduled so late and should've never been scheduled at 2, that 1pm was the latest... although the first guy told me it'd take 45 min and that 3pm was the latest. After having such horrible experiences with them in the past, I didn't have the patience to deal with Harry and canceled the appt entirely. Do not go here unless you want to spend a day feeling like you could rip your hair out!!! read more

I must say, I think it's quite arrogant to call a business a "NICE" place and actually have "nice" in the name. Definitely ironic considering my experience. My mom has had a bad experience with this dealership, but I decided to give it a try. I called looking for a 2016 Honda Civic EX. I had already gotten many quotes, and the one they gave me was the highest. I told the guy my lowest quote and he said he would match it if I came in Friday April 1st, no problem. I talked to him for a while, and set up an appointment for Friday. After the call I spoke to the same dealership and they offered a lower price so I called Conicelli back the next day. I spoke to Kevin who was rude and unprofessional. I was very frustrated, and at the end of the call he said "it seems like you're angry with me". No kidding! He flat out told me to go to another dealership that was offering me such a low price, and implied I was lying about the quote. I had to ask twice to speak to a manager because he was ignoring me, and talking over me! The manager was polite, but no help. He claimed that there is no way they could give me a price for April 1st on March 31st, because they have no way of knowing next month's price. They must not be in the loop, because another dealership was able to give me that information. I cancelled my appointment, only to be called the next day to make sure I was still coming in! Currently sitting here at Conicelli Honda's Service Center writing this review because I've been here for over THREE HOURS. Is 3+ hours for an inspection, tpms sensor replacement and tire alignment normal/acceptable? I don't think so. My appt was set for 10AM. I got here at 9:50ish AM. I had scheduled an hour, maybe two for this but here I am, 3 hours later. Had I known that this would take up so much time, I would've dropped the car off and returned later. They came out a total of 2 times to update me...the first time was over an hour after I've been sitting here. I've watched people come and go. It would be nice if there was an acknowledgment or apology regarding my long wait or anything from one of the service associates or managers but no, complete silence even when I went up to inquire about the status of my vehicle. I have recommended Conicelli Honda as well as their service dept to many people throughout the years but I'm certainly reconsidering about this moving forward. I bought a brand new Civic from Conicelli Honda in 2004. I regularly took it to their service center for basic maintenance and was pleased. That is until one day when the guy who ran my card accidentally added a zero to the total. What should have been a $300 charge suddenly became a $3000 charge. He voided it and re-charged my card for the correct amount. Before leaving the parking lot, I checked my bank account on my phone and BOTH charges went through. I originally had $350 in the account, now I was at -$2950!! When I went back in, I was told that the way their system works is that the void doesn't actually happen until after the transaction goes through, which takes 3-5 days. On top of that, I had about 7 smaller transactions that were pending and let them know that I was nervous that I'd be hit with overdraft fees. They assured me that wouldn't be an issue and said there was nothing more they could do, so I went home and figured I'd live frugally for the next few days while my negative balance got sorted out. The following day I noticed that I now had 7 overdraft fees ($35 each) thanks to that extra 0. I called and explained the situation but was told that it wasn't their problem. Now I had to deal with an additional $245 in bank fees because they messed up? Not happening. I left work early, drove to my bank and spent a good 2 hours with them but the person I was working with wasn't authorized to override that many fees. On a whim, I drove to a more prominent branch and was able to find someone there who not only overrode the fees, but also deleted the $3000 charge. The whole ordeal was a mistake but they just didn't seem to give a shit. I never received an apology for the time and massive headache this was. I haven't taken my car there since this event and when friends and family go car shopping, I make it a point to share this story and send them to dealerships not under the Conicelli umbrella. This happened many years ago. So why did I finally decide to post this review? Because Conicelli constantly sends me promotional email that sneaks through my spam filter. Normally I'd just unsubscribe, but these slime balls send you to an unsubscribe page that doesn't actually post the request. I finally got fed up with this and decided to share this experience. I had an absolutely terrible experience at this place. Their slogan is "a NICE place to do business", playing off the coNICElli in their name, but I think they should play off the CONicelli part of the name instead. I just want to recount my experience and anyone who sees this can take it for what it is. I will never be returning to this complex for any reason. My wife and I visited the Certified Pre-Owned Honda shop on a Monday night after work to see if they had anything in my price range ($4-5k). I talked with Paul C. and after a bit of discussion, he pretty much told us they had nothing to offer and to check out an auction. A decent suggestion, and I found no fault at this point. Thanked him for his time and moved on. The next day, Anthony, a higher-up in that store called and said they had a 2002 CR-V that would fit the range we were looking for. It was a trade-in and would be as-is. He gave me a price, but said it could change slightly as it needed to be safety inspected on their side. Sounded great, and we were able to go back in Saturday and test drive it. We were pretty happy with it, and put a deposit down ($500) that day for them to start the safety inspection. They called and said there was one issue, and we worked out a bit of price change (they said it was $500 repair needed, and raised my price by $300). I was ok with this as well, figured the repairs would be full price if done at any other shop, so fine. Finally all fixed, they called saying it was ready Tuesday, and we came in at 6:30p that night. On the call, Paul had given me an exact price with tax/tags, which I got a cashier's check for to the penny. After sitting at Paul's desk for two hours, the only thing we accomplished was showing that I had current insurance. Paul was away for a while then came back and said, "We have a problem." He went on to say the "big boss" doesn't want to sell it for that and that Anthony had made a mistake in the price he gave. This was quite infuriating after having sat here doing nothing, cash in hand for what was quoted to me, ready to go. I asked to speak to this manager, Rick i think, and he came out. He said he "cherished us as customers" but Anthony had "screwed up" and, even though Paul made it sound like we would have to pay more, Rick said he would give it to us for the price we had agreed on. Now, after quite an upsetting conversation, they both go away and leave us at the desk for a while again. Paul comes back with the price, which, unbelievably, was higher again than we agreed. He told me that he had made a "clerical error" when he gave me the cost over the phone. I said I got the cashiers check for the exact amount he had told me, but then Paul, to my shock, proceeded to berate me for holding him accountable to the number he quoted me that day (I had him repeat it twice on the phone), saying I was trying to "hang him" for it because it was "in my favor". Listen: Regardless of who's "favor" it was to, I got the check for the exact amount he said on the phone; I didn't ask to check his math, and I couldn't have assumed he would actually do it WRONG, considering it is his JOB. Still, I was trying to maintain my composure and asked to walk outside for a few minutes. I came back in with the difference in cash, and from that point we were able to go to Matt in the paperwork office and finish up. The only person I appreciate from this experience was Anthony, who they made out to sound like a terrible person. In fact, Rick told me I should "get a bottle of wine" with the difference they weren't charging me and "send it to Anthony since he'll be 'getting yelled at' from me tomorrow." Horrible. Horrible people. Absolutely inexcusable customer service, especially for a place with the word NICE plastered on every surface. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The only good part is I have a Honda that I hope is reliable for many years. read more

I had priced around for a Pre-Certified 2016 Honda Pilot, and landed up here. Honda's sell themselves. David Stephenson was my contact person - first contacted on the phone, and then in person at the Dealership. This is the first time that I've been in to a Dealership to buy a vehicle and drive out in exactly 2 hours (time I walked in + test drive + talk price + apply for Finance, etc.)! One usually gets stuck in the Finance office haggling extras, but it was the quickest and a pleasant experience. There were a few things to follow up post-sale with David and the Service folks; thus far it has been respectful and efficient. read more

I was here to receive a service for a recall on July 10th and after the work was completed, I discovered numerous scratches all over my dashboard. They even attempted to use a black marker to conceal them. As I was in a hurry for an appointment, I did not notice this damage until I returned home. In addition, the glove box will now not open properly. There was a cable stuck on the left hand side, so I had to remove everything and then push in the cable to open my glove box. I am extremely upset at what was done to my car and consider this work unprofessional. read more

The words "nice" and "respect" are a joke at Conicelli Honda: I would go lower than one star if I could. We tried to negotiate for a new car and trade my current car. The manager told me my car was garbage, and we said we disagreed. The manager became rude and embarrassingly loud. When we tried to leave (no point in staying), the manager followed us outside and continued to rant about how terrible my current car is (btw, it has a perfect title, Carfax, etc.). My wife needed to get her transmission fluid flushed and we had asked them to take a look at one of the wheels on the car that was making a grinding or squeaking sound. She received a phone call quoting her $1,400 worth of work. It should be worth noting that I recently had her car inspected and it passed inspection. We were not told that anything was wrong or needed to be fixed. Work that we were told that needed to be done by Conicelli Honda 1. Change oil - (never asked for this to be done) 2. Transmission Fluid Flushed 3. Change Rotor ("it was such bad shape that it could not be resurfaced") 4. New Brakes ("Brakes needed to be changed. They would not pass PA inspection") 5. Brake Fluid Flush 6. Change Spark Plugs 7. Squeaking was a bearing issue on the wheel ("Not safe to drive") Honda Approximate Total - $1,400 I called another local auto mechanic that we have dealt with in the past and they advised me to only get the transmission fluid flushed. They do not do this service but would be happy to give us a second opinion about everything else. I should also mention that they changed my synthetic motor oil which we did not approve and replaced it with conventional oil. The next day we took it to the local mechanic and he had a very different opinion. One break pad needed to be changed, Rotors are ok and spark plugs were changed but still could have been used. Brake Fluid was flushed. Work done by a local mechanic 1. Only changed one break pad. 2. Change Spark Plugs (optional) 3. New bearing in wheel Local Mechanic Approximate Total - $600 read more

Never bought a car here but went in for service for the first time for my Honda. The service was done quickly and the whole process was mostly smooth. I took a stars off because when I arrived, I didn't know where to sign in (big U with workstations) and the staff that was there ignored me (4-5 people there) as I looked around with a lost look on my face for a few minutes before I went up to a clerk and asked if they could check my car in. It felt awkward and uncomfortable that nobody acknowledged me for that long except for the guy at the door who asked where I parked my car. Not the worst thing in the world but not exactly pleasant. I received very poor customer service from Mr. Garcia. He made it clear that he should have went home at 5pm and would show us the car real fast. We asked about the cost of the car before we got in the car & he told us that it was another price. Although I had a text message from a CSR with the pricing. After I was visibly upset that I was given incorrect info Mr. Garcia did nothing to help the situation. He simply said "ok" and turned the car off. Be aware of Conicelli & their false advertising. I've leased as well as purchased 2 CRVs (George was my salesman both times. His patience and excellent knowledge and rapport made what I consider a scary experience, easy!) at Conicelli and couldn't be happier with the process as well as the excellent service I experienced. Yesterday I brought in my 2016 CRV for the scheduled Oil B service. Valet folks are the best! Friendly and helpful, as well as caring. Makes that process of dropping off your car easy/Peasy! Once my car was in the shop and I had been waiting for a short while, team manager Steve came over to me and discussed what else would be needed to maintain my car's good "health" (my words, not his, but you understand!) and suggested getting the state inspection/emissions while there as well as some other filter changes,etc. Steve worked with me on a more affordable approach to the extra services needed which I truly appreciated. Very disappointed with my experience trying to buy a used car. I bought a used car from them years ago and was very happy, this time not so much and I won't be back. We were there for over 2hrs being told that a 2016 Nissan Sentra works for what we were looking for and payment wise. Told we needed $2,000 down which we had the next day. I call to let them know, they then call me back 5 minutes later to tell me the car was sold back in May.......Really??!! Almost 4 months ago!!! Not happy at all, then was told they would look for another car that would work for me and call me right back......2hrs later no call. Not very good customer service and very disappointing. Plus while we were there our sales rep went to check my boyfriends credit, probably a half hour or so later he comes back and says sorry for the wait but I had to run a car over for another customer......which he then says is his sister in law. Really? Why don't you finish up with us before taking care of her and making us wait even longer?? We went to another dealer and am very happy with the service we received, they also told us we are not the first ones to come in with a complaint about Conicelli so I know it was not just us. We decided it was time to get new cars and both love Hondas so we decided to browse here. Online the deal seemed too good to be true, 2015 Honda Civic LX $65 a month lease for 3 years. $3700 down or trade in plus taxes and tags. Got to the dealership with a pretty good idea of what we wanted and prices for 2 new cars. Turns out $65 is for manual (understood) so tack on an extra $35 per month for automatic. This is where the car dealership shtick came on. Kevin our sales associate was very patient with us, as I'm in a sales role myself, we had a LOT of questions about where the prices came from and how it fit into the deal we saw online. Lots of "I'll talk to my manager" 15 minutes later... Here's the new deal. Eventually the manager just came out and talked to us directly. We traded in 2 cars and unfortunately had to pull up Kelly Blue Book on my phone as trade in values were worlds apart. However I will say Conicelli is a fair company and reasonably re negotiated our values. All in all process took almost 5 hours and a second trip back for detailing our cars. I would say 5 stars for Kevin, the receptionist Sue and the sales manager but a couple things I was too exhausted to ask about. My gas tank was half full, figured a new car I would get a full tank (also the one I traded in had a full tank) & my friend whom also got a lease there got door protectors installed. I like conicelli and absolutely love my new car. A few minor tweaks and this place will re write how the car buying process should be! read more

The first two times no call saying they were not coming; the third time they called, but only with a question about my car which they thought was in their facility when it was in my driveway waiting for pickup. Very dishonest. The Conicelli Protection Plan is a racket. It does not cover anything of value and cannot be cancelled. Do not purchase it. They will push and use pressure tactics to, but it does not cover anything you actually need and is essentially useless. Also - if you need anything from Conicelli - it's best you visit, because unless you are buying something then and there, you as a customer are not worth their time and are considered unimportant.
