For years I've called and been tossed around to another agent that replaced my last one because they were not good...but the "new" one would do right by me...Now I actually need their help and they recommend a restoration company that is HORRIBLE and will NOT help me through this process! Never really needed to use my insurance as I've had no accidents.. but when I did need to contact them, they were unresponsive. Trying to add a vehicle to my policy a few months ago was like pulling teeth. It felt impossible to get in contact with this company. I left several detailed voicemails on multiple lines, Emailed the company and now after exhausting all forms of communication, I'm leaving this honest review. My first order of business was about 6 months ago when I decided to get the same type of life insurance policy as my boyfriend. I went in there knowing zip about life insurance and left feeling confident. I felt great about my future! Wayne for life! (pun intended) =) Later I decided to be a big girl and get my own car insurance as I had just bought my car on my own. Camie who took care of me is absolutely AMAZING! I wanted to let you know about a recent experience I had with the Conrey Insurance team. I have been a client for quite some time now, and ever since a gal named Jennifer Whittle left I have never had the same type of customer service. She was wonderful! Also, Wayne Denned, is extremely knowledgeable and caring. Back in April I spoke with a guy named Matt, who was extremely hard to get a hold of and rarely called me back when he said he was going to, about my jewelry insurance policy with Traveler's. He never really seemed to know much about what was going on and I had to repeat my scenario each time we talked. He even said things like, "Well if you had other policies with us, we could save you money." After I had already told him that I just left to go to Progressive, so obviously that was not the case. My premium was due in March, but he told me I had a minimum of a 30 day grace period so not to worry. I specifically asked him if I was still covered, and he said yes, don't worry about that. I told him I was shopping other companies to make sure I was getting the best deal. He let me know that my policy didn't have a deductible, so I decided to stick with Travelers. On 4/20 I made sure with him that all I had to do was send in my check and my policy would reinstate, and again he reassured me not to worry. I went on my bill pay through Wells Fargo that same day and made the payment. Yesterday, I received a check back from Travelers for the full amount due to policy cancellation. I called Matt today and spoke to him and after he did some research with Travelers he lets me know that I was already cancelled at the time we spoke on 04/20. Here's why I'm upset. Matt never let me know this when we spoke - otherwise I wouldn't have sent in the money. He also didn't let me know there was a $20 late fee, hence why my policy didn't get reinstated. I wasn't covered for an entire month. This is what upsets me the most. My diamond is a family heirloom - in fact it is a World Series Diamond. It is extremely important to me and my family that my ring is covered at all times. I asked to speak to a manager, and of course I get Camie, whom I had prior issues with. She is extremely unfriendly. She starts the conversation off my repeating the conversations that were noted between Matt and I. I proceeded to tell her all "of the above" and asked her to at least cover the $20 late fee due to it being a mistake on Matt's part. She says she won't do so and "M'am, you only have one policy of $445 with us". I felt offended by this comment to say the least. In my experience, you should always treat all customers the same. I felt like she was calling me a liar, was not willing to try to resolve the issue, and furthermore told me it was probably best to take my business elsewhere. I let her know that I actually have a life insurance policy through them. She seemed to change her tune at this point. I don't expect anything in return, and even if I have to pay more money for a policy somewhere else, that is what I'm going to do so that I don't have to deal with her any further. My advice - if you can deal with Wayne on the financial side you are in good hands, but stay clear of Camie if you want to be treated with any type of kindness. read more
