I am extremely happy with Conroe Appliance!!! I bought a new dishwasher from Lowe's in June 2015. In February 2016 I called the warranty company to come out and fix a loud noise that my dishwasher was making. The noise wasn't effecting the performance, it was just really loud. Electrolux was sent out and they fixed the loud noise ... BUT ... my dishwasher wasn't performing as good as it had before the noise was fixed. So I called them out again .... and again ... and again! Electrolux came to my home 7 times to fix my dishwasher! I kept telling the guy, every time, there is water left in the bottom of my dishwasher. My dishes aren't getting clean. The dishes come out with a soapy film on them. The dishes aren't getting dry. Then, the dispenser stopped opening! The repair guy with Electrolux was always very polite, and it became pretty comical every time he came back every few weeks. He told me that I was just sensitive about my dishwasher. That the way it was performing was as good as it gets and that there was nothing wrong with the dishwasher, it's me, the consumer. As nice as he was he made it sound like I needed a psychiatrist because I was "too sensitive about my dishwasher", (those are the words he actually used). I can't tell you how many times I told my husband that I just need to ditch the dishwasher and get a new one. One last time, I called the warranty company. I told them, "I'm still having the same issues I've had since the 2nd time I called you. I've had Electrolux out here 7 times and they guy does nothing but make me think I'm crazy. I know this dishwasher worked like new, (because it was new), before they fixed the loud noise in February. It's been since then that my dishwasher quit performing like it's suppose too. I don't want you to send the same repair guy again. I need somebody new. They sent Conroe Appliance. Conroe Appliance came out, assessed my problem, or problemS. Listened to my long list of complaints about the dishwasher. Came back again two weeks later with the parts in hand. FIXED IT! My dishwasher is performing like new again! I could not be happier with these guys!!! And I would like to give Erica, (the secretary who answers the phone), a review as well. I have used this company in the past with good results so I referred the company to my daughter for an icemaker problem. They have serviced three times with different attempted fixes (now over $800 in charges). Ice maker still does not make ice. The person answering the phone nor Ronnie (owner?) has returned calls. I have attempted to find and confirm the physical location for the company but adddresses found online search are no longer valid. The company website does not show an address. It is very easy to set up service and pay this company but appears more and more that there might be an intent to insulate person to person contact when service does not go as expected. I am giving them no stars because we had them out at the beginning of the year to replace the sensor in our LG dryer. They replaced the sensor also had to fix the ductwork which they did a great job on that. I'm not gonna lie but the sensor failed to work and my mom's dryer and now they have a second one on order and it is been since March and we are now in November and they will not call me back or give me updates. I called this company two weeks ago because my dryer wouldn't come on. I knew what button was broken and called them to get a diagnosis. The guy was going to order a new timer for my dryer which he said should take 3-5 days. I received no communication during this time. Right before Thanksgiving I called them to make sure that it would be fixed for the holiday. He said that my part had not come in, but it should be there by Wednesday and they would fix it. No communication. Wednesday came and my dryer was still not fixed. He said that it should be in by Monday and he would fix it Monday afternoon. No communication. When you call, it goes to voicemail. No communication or call back. I am already out $172.00 as that was half the charge. I would not recommend this repair place to anyone. By the way, when I told him that we were sure wanting it to be repaired by Thanksgiving, he said you and everyone else. Not very professional. Gave these knuckleheads a pretty good review after they installed a new ice-maker for me. I then had them clean out my dryer vent and found out 6-mos later they did a crappy job as I had to have a real appliance repair firm completely re-do it. I have used Conroe Appliance Repair several times. The first was to repair a Samsung Dryer which went fine. The second was to use their recommendation to helo install a KitchenAid oven which went great. The third time was to replace a KitchenAid Dishwasher pump. The third time was not as impressive. The tech seemed to need to google how to complete the pump replacement. Then he had difficulty re-installing the spray arm. He did advise that we need to replace the spray arm. The spray arm is a 1/4 turn to remove and lock in. The top of the new pump section which had been installed looks damaged resulting in problems seating the new spray arm. It appears that the tech's problem reseating sprayer arm damaged the pump section where sprayer arm seats I've reached out several times to Conroe Appliance, but have had no reply. Sure would like resolution. read more

Great experience. Ronnie and his apprentice came out last week to fix a fridge in our garage. He diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and came back today to install it. They just left. While they were here, he also adjusted the door so it shuts easier. The reviews left for this company scared me. These guys did what they said they would for the price they quoted in the time period they promised. If I have any other appliance issues, I'm going to call them. read more

From 2 star to 1 star! The only reason this company was hired, was because it was a company listed on my Sears home warranty. This is during Covid, and all correspondence has been handled through text message. I have never spoken to anyone from CAC, Conroe Appliance Center. The tech came out and fixed the E24 error on my Bosch dishwasher, but ended up breaking a portion of the door mechanism causing it to drop straight down if it's opened a third of the way without telling me. He kept opening and closing the door so he knew there was a problem, then left it in the 9 minute rinse cycle so I didn't know there was a problem until after he left. There were also a lot of white plastic shards on the floor. I contacted the shop immediately. The technician called me and said he knew a piece, or pieces, had broken off when he told me parts had been ordered but thought the door was okay, which was obviously a lie since he kept opening and closing the door and saw the attached plastic and string fabric could not be connected. I understand it's plastic and plastic gets brittle and breaks. See attached pictures. This could have potentially cost me money. If the tech had owned up to it, I wouldn't have even mentioned it in my review. Same tech installed the new spring(s) on the door. A couple days later same E24 error. Tech came out and replaced drain pump. I noticed tech doing something under the sink, but just thought he was checking the drain connection at the disposer. Ran the dishwasher and got a watertap error at the end of the first load with no code. Water was at the bottom of the dishwasher. (I contacted my plumber before I ever called on my dishwasher to make sure my drain was clear.) I looked under the sink, and the tech had pulled a bunch of the drain line from the dishwasher through the hole in the cabinet between the dishwasher and kitchen sink drain. I pushed a good portion of the drain line back through towards the dishwasher and cleared the error. Why was the tech even messing with this? On my second load in the dishwasher after the new drain pump I have the E24 and water tap error again! I am calling Bosch directly tomorrow and not going through the warranty company. Also of note; CAC has an A rating on Angie's List. I will never get talked into a home warranty package again. They apparently only use companies who can't get work any other way. All the companies my home warranty recommended had Better Business Bureau and Yelp complaints. read more

I was assigned this company to fix my Kitchenaid oven by Sears Home Warranty. It has been over 4 months- at least 4 trips to my home- multiple guesses on parts (all wrong so far)- missed cooking the family Thanksgiving dinner AND Christmas dinner- headed for missing Easter at this rate. I am convinced if it isn't plug and play they have zero idea of what to do to actually repair an appliance. My suggestion- Conroe Appliance should find a new line of work- clearly they are not good at this one. They keep "dropping the ball". No kidding - do ya think! read more

I called them out because my dryer was not drying properly. He says the dryer isn't venting enough. That's great news. We don't need to buy any expensive parts. I'm paying you $100 to come out go so ahead and add the remaining $20 or whatever and do the cleaning. Nope. "I'm too old to get on the roof" he says, Give me my $100. So to sum it up I would recommend calling a capable technician who can handle any needs to may have and are willing to pay for. He was not some feeble old man. It's obvious that he didn't want to do the cleaning cause he wasn't going to make much more $. The service fee/charge is taken from any work done. The cleaning charge would only have been another $20-$30 so he didn't want to do it. Cleaning is one of the services they offer so I know they can do it if they want. I had PROBLEMS right from the start with this company. 1. When front desk person called for appointment, she was not giving me any time slot that I asked for saying that they are booked for 6 months on Saturdays. Finally I was forced to take a 2 pm to 4 pm window for the next day, Thursday. I had to take half day out of work, drove for one and a half hours to get back on time. 2. It was 3:30 and no one had showed up or called me. I called them and she replies " It's only 3:30 pm now. They will be there before 4pm". It was 5 pm and no one showed up or called. 3. I called Desiree and left a voice mail about this and asked to call back next day since they were closed at 5pm. 4. No one called me next 3 days until Monday. The tech install a white panel on my black microwave. I complained and they said they was not responsible for cosmetics. If they had order the right part I wouldn't have cosmetic problems... Terrible service. They were called by my Home Warranty, apparently repaired my dishwasher and within no time it failed again. The technitian not even wearing a mask. He left a mess in my house and touched every single surface he could. When called to repair again I asked them to send someone with more knowledge and wearing proper PPE, they told me they have 3 technicians, one refuses to wear a mask and the others have apparently medical excuses. The worst customer service I've ever dealt with . Took a day off of work last Monday . After previously leaving two messages for them to call me back which they did not. Monday morning I called them to ask them if they were coming which they's initially said that I was not on the schedule. Then realize their mistake and said that they would be there between eight and 11 which they did not show and I call them at 1 o'clock. They then told me that someone would call me back from service and at 3 o'clock when no one called me back I called them back. I've actually dealt with Conroe Appliance Repair through my Home Warranty company... In the last year, my microwave went out and then my dishwasher went out. For the microwave, they sent a couple of repair men out... maybe one was an apprentice. He said my problem with the sensor was fixed, but after he left I went to pop popcorn a few days later and still had the problem. So I called them back. They sent another man out and he said it was the motherboard and he would have to order a new one. He did tell me that it could take up to 2 weeks. About 2 weeks later, they called me and made a next day appointment. The technician came out and fixed it. This time for good. I haven't had a problem since. Then they came out for the dishwasher. This time they needed to order a part too. 2 weeks later I go a call from them and he came out and installed the part. It's been good ever since. So overall I give them 4 stars. It took them a couple tries on the microwave, but other than that I had no problems with the service or their communication. They gave me the 2 or 3 hour time window.... but they also actually called me 30 minutes before the tech showed up, so that I could run home from work. They did that on all 3 occasions. I'm going to try them again... But this time it's not covered under my Home Warranty. So we'll see how it goes and I'll update my review. read more

Conroe has been out twice to fix our dryer (two separate issues). Great Son/Dad team! Both times they arrived in their allotted window...something that is big in my book. The first visit they were able to repair my dryer immediately as they had the part on their truck. Second time they didn't have the part (we have an old dryer) but were back in 2 days replacing the part/fixing the machine - something a previous repair company said they could not do and reported to our home warranty company that we had not maintained the dryer. He repaired my brand new washer (of 8 months - that's a story for another time) which has been down for 5 months and that has been serviced three times (by another appliance company). After six attempts over three months to get my GE refrigerator fixed, a GE repair guy came out and said that the repairs allegedly done by Conroe Appliance were never done at all, and the parts they allegedly replaced were old parts. I received a call from Conroe Appliance Repair about a repair appointment I had made with Sears for warranty work on my washer. The appointment I made with Sears was for Friday, February 12 between 8 and noon. The person calling from Conroe Appliance Repair said the appointment had been moved to February 16th because that was their first available time. I asked what time that would be for and she said she could not say only somewhere between 8 & 5. So I'm supposed to just wait around all day? Not acceptable. The repairman entered my home with a terrible attitude. I had parts delivered to my home that needed to replaced on my refrigerator. The repairman did not use any parts and was telling that nothing is wrong with my fridge. Wrong! There are five things wrong with my five month old fridge. He told me that the refrigerator door is heavy and will not close like the freezer door. He also said that when using the ice dispenser clean it out after every use to stop the frost from accumulating near the ice maker. He did not even address the noise issue. They came out and did the evaluation, collected their service fee, ordered the parts, scheduled the installation. At the hour they were scheduled to arrive they called and cancelled, they offered a return appointment that was not available for me, and when I complained they contacted my warranty company and refused to service us further. Had to start all over again with a new service vendor.
