I am writing this because I received five-star service from Conroy's florists and their delivery person Saul Ponce. My Vet sent me flowers due to losing my beloved Big Guy! My Dog who was part of my family! Well, Saul called my cell phone, and when I told him that I worked 2 miles from my home. He said I can swing by your business! I was disappointed by the lack of selection here. I was at Ralph's before coming to Conroy's, and I figured I could count on fresh flowers and a bit more variety. It turns out Ralph's had more selection, it's just that the flowers were all wilted and dying there. The flowers at Conroy's are always fresh, but the associate working today wasn't very helpful at all. She checked for a specific flower I was hoping to get, and then continued doing her work behind the counter after she told me there wasn't any more of the flower I was hoping for. Which was totally fine, I didn't mind at all. But, I was under the impression she would be able to help me find something, or tell me... something. But she stayed behind the counter until I settled on something. The checkout process was awkward and rushed. I ended up with a cute bouquet and I was happy with the price, just not too happy with my overall experience. I probably won't come back. read more

Just walked into this place and there were 3 girls working. I smiled at one girl who just looked at me and then got on her cell phone and the 2 others were just standing around. Walked into the store and was kindly greeted by this one blonde girl with light eyes. She promptly asked me if I needed help with anything to which I responded "yes I want something for my grandma for her birthday" and asked her to put together an arrangement that will last and looks aesthetically pleasing and something a grandma would like. I called yesterday ( a Sunday) because the florist I often use was closed. A close friend's dad passed away and I wanted to send a gorgeous plant. I spoke to Claudia, who was bright, personable and went the extra mile. Within two hours, my friend and his family had the plant and Claudia had called me to tell me it had been delivered. Honestly only giving a rating because of Justine/a, she worked with my Mom and I on a couple flower arrangements we needed super last minute to showcase in church and she was super nice working with us. But her coworker, I did not get her name, who had just arrived for her shift at around 2pm today was extremely RUDE to us when we were asking Justine to fix the flower arrangements to make them look similar. As I point out, these arrangements were going to be placed in church and we obviously wanted them as SIMILAR as possible (and we also understand that they weren't going to be identical, bc the 2 pots were different sizes) so when my mom said "They still don't look similar," the lady would begin to argue with us and even stated "Are you a florist?" and "It's nature, we can't make it look identical." I then said "I know they won't look identical," but still persisted. She also said rude comments about the protesting going on (not to sound political and don't want to state what she said, bc I know it's her own opinion) but comments like that should not be stated in public with how sensitive the topic is right now. Bottom line she made us feel bad and displeased customers. If we didn't need these arrangements right away, I would've took my mom elsewhere. For my birthday in January I received the most gorgeous Orchid ever! Knowing how very difficult it is to keep an Orchid thriving, I went in for some expert advice. I was greeted warmly and noticed a busy, friendly helpful staff working with all the customers there. Kera assisted me; I showed her pictures from my phone of my many orchids. She laughed understandably when I called orchids a beautiful bourgeious flower. Then Kera gave me many tips - be sure its in the right room, not too much direct light, do not over water, etc. I crossed my fingers and did exactly what she told me. Well its now a week shy of April and I have blooming beautiful petals on my Orchids. I delighted to see new bulbs on one that never bloomed before. Each have thick beautiful green leaves and my home is more the beautiful because of the expert advice I got from Kera - kudos to Kera who I now refer to as Orchid Care Kera! read more

I needed a last minute floral crown for a maternity photo shoot and Destiny was my florist. She was so helpful in putting together the floral idea I had in mind. I was able to email her pictures. And when I picked it up she made sure that the flowers were what I wanted. The price was very reasonable compared to what my photographer was going to charge me. Kera and Destiny are absolutely amazing. To these two girls you are not a customer they treat you like a friend and will never truly know the impact they have on some peoples lives. Every Saturday at the same time for The last two months I have come to this store. I could drive to the flower shop across the street from my House but I drive the extra distance specifically for these girls. I lost the person who I have loved more than ANYONE my entire life and the most important part of my week is making her final resting place beautiful. Kera and Destiny help me choose the most beautiful flowers and specially put together multiple bouquets every week. Naturally no one wants to talk about a cemetery and anyone can stop and pick up any bouquet anywhere but I choose to go here, because of these girls I am able to make my loved ones final resting place absolutely beautiful and not with something I can get anywhere but with flowers that have been picked and put together with care, I can make her resting place beautiful with something made special just for her ..... Kera and Destiny thank you for the time and care you put in for me week after week, without knowing you play a big part in something that is most important to a total stranger. Today is my mom's birthday and I thought it would be great to get her a bouquet of all her favorite flowers. Conroy's was the first place I went to and I'm so glad I did. I walked right up to woman standing behind the counter (I didn't catch her name, but she was cute hehe) and told her what I wanted. She was very friendly and showed me all the fresh flowers they had stored. I told her which flowers I wanted and she worked her magic and put together a beautiful bouquet in less than 15 minutes! They also had a good selection of cards and other gifts. Not to mention, if you check it on Yelp you get $11 off any arrangement!! I have nothing but positive things to say about the store. When I first walked in, i was greeted by one of the nice girls behind the counter, Claudia, and I couldn't help but notice the cleanliness and organization of the store. There were plenty of options and I almost had difficulty choosing from the many options the store had. It was mother's day and I had wanted to get a bouquet for my grandmother. From what I described, the lovely ladies, Elizabeth(?), yeah, Elizabeth and Destiny, were able to create a beautiful arrangement for me and my grandmother for a very reasonable process. got flowers (short-stemmed roses in a little mini vase) here previously and they dropped over and were almost dead the next day. Conroy's refunded the price of the flowers--very kind, but I wish I just got flowers that stayed alive. With the credit from Conroy's, I decided to order flowers (long-stemmed roses) from them again. they came on Saturday, and by Monday, they were already starting to bend downwards. Overall, I don't think I will go to them again, despite the very kind people who work there. read more

I purchased an orchid plant that I sent out to a loyal client from my office for $129.99. Of course I would at least think my client would be receiving an ultra high end classy Orchid plant with some type of elegant pot fixture, but BOY WAS I MISTAKEN ! My client sent me a picture of the plant and It was inclosed in some type of cheap looking wood box case that smelled of spray paint and the orchid plant itself had very few blooms mostly wilting, it clearly looked like most of the blooms had already been snipped off !! I immediately called the store and the young lady on the phone told me she could not do anything about it but would notify her manager.....weeks later and I have yet to hear from a "manager." Very disappointed and embarrassing, I will definitely not be returning nor recommending this store to my colleagues. read more
