They do however have a lot of name brand items but all still high prices: Tory Burch purse over $100, Nike sneakers $35, Kate Spade cross body purse $55, coach wristlet $35 (they cost that brand new on Coach.com). Lilly Pulitzer and Lulu lemon again $25-$40 a piece. The store typically has a lot of selection but definitely more boutique pricing for used clothing.

I have never felt welcomed going into the store when selling my clothes. I come in, I say hello politely, and are generally "welcomed" with a stare or weird facial expression. Today, I go in to sell my clothes (which I had many spring/activewear apparel...which apparently are the only clothes they are buying at the moment) as well as some jackets and miscellaneous items. she seemed very excited to let me know that they will not be taking any of my items. it's really not the fact that my items are not being taken by her, It's the micro aggression behind her letting me know. I have enough discernment to know when someone is being nasty towards me versus when they are being genuine/authentic. With that being said, I will NOT be selling to this company anymore.

The gentlemen that take your donations come to your car in the drop off area. They unload everything and if you need your boxes, bags, or containers back, they will gladly transfer it to their own bins. I went inside just to check things out and was wowed by how much of everything they had. The store was orderly for housewares, clothing and kids toys but I didn't find the flow of the store to be easy to find that "hard to find " item. I didn't make any purchases but I assume the value was good as the store was pretty busy on a Tuesday morning. The customer service was good but they too didn't seem to know where the odds and ends would be displayed. The store also had a bit of a used item flea market smell that I noticed when walking in. The parking lot is well marked and there are plenty of parking spaces.

Life's Treasures is an adorably named small thrift store in Tampa (one of several)…read more It may be small, but it's certainly packed to the brim. In that regard, and like most thrifts, you then have the dilemma that there is a lot of junk, but a few "treasures" to be found here and there. They had a lot of decor and kitchenware that was really nice and well priced. Same goes for the shoe collection. Other than that, it's really really random array of stuff. Maybe more random than most. But they are in support of some hospice businesses so I more than respect their mission and purpose.

Watch out for some of the employeES. Some of them have very old 1960's mentalities. An elderly…read morewoman named Debbie who works here went out of her way to come up behind me as I was shopping and dramatically switched the garment off of a dummy that was about five feet or so away from me. It was odd that she was changing the garment in the middle of the day (almost 3:00 pm), but what took me aback was when she hit me with the garment because of how dramatically she was swinging it about. No apology, but that would have been disingenuous because I suspect she did it on purpose. The same employee then yelled something at me rudely as I was having a conversation with someone else. By this time I was seeing a pattern. I'd decided at checkout time I'd avoid having to deal with her because I try to avoid nastiness if I can. Well there was a nice couple in front of me. They we're speaking another language, but they also speak English. They kindly let me go ahead of them because they were paying with cash and I was using card, so they we're waiting for Debbie (the employee I've been speaking of) to stop having a leisurely conversation with another customer who'd brought dogs into the store. Debbie was petting the dogs and talking like me and the nice couple were not even in line. I thanked them and took them up on their offer. The lady beside Debbie who had just waved me over then left me to go and talk to the lady with the dogs. It was an act of disrespect and just plain inconsiderate. If I hadn't gotten her attention she would have kept me waiting, especially since there were only me (black America) and the brown couple waiting. That's called a micro-aggression. The being hit by the garment, that was just aggressive. I'm telling this experience 15 minutes later, but legend has it that other nice couple is still waiting for Debbie to stop talking to those dogs. Be careful folks.

I came here one weekend and found some great deals and was super happy with my experience. Even some Goodwill stores have higher prices and Tampa Thrift seems a little more boutique style then it is true thrift so you just have to come in with that mindset, or don't come if you don't like it. What I like that they do here is a lot of big sales. Each day there's a specific tag color that's 50% off, and this is where I found some really great pick ups. They also have one weekend each month where the whole store is 50% off, which is super cool and probably the main time I'll come back. I thought the store was fairly clean overall. They do have a couple dressing rooms if you prefer to try stuff on, and a bathroom. As with most thrift stores, there's at least twice as many women's clothing options then men's. But as a woman I was impressed with the selection and range of brands they had here. They had a good selection of blazers, not only for men but specifically women's too- I found a super nice one almost brand new for $10. There were quite a few shoes as well- sneakers and sandals and in between, I snatched a cute lil pair of heels for like $7. Another nice thing, they had a lot of kids stuff here. I've found at most thrift stores it just depends if they have kids items, especially clothing but they had a whole section here for kids clothes, as well as toys and stuff. I was happy with my visit here and will definitely be back.
