Konstantine came out on 5/20/23 and diagnosed our Miele washing machine. He promised to call us back with a quote for the part. We didn't hear back from him and we've called and texted several times, with no answer. Our $80 fee for him coming out that was supposed to go towards repair is gone. I wanted to like the service, as the reviews were decent (as decent as anyone else's), but not impressed with no responses, it's now 6/5/23. I chose this company based on the positive reviews although it did have some bad reviews. I figured not everyone has the same expectations so bad reviews are bound to happen. Well, buyer beware!!! After reading the reviews again it appears that the bad reviews pertain to refrigerators. My Kitchen Aid built in fridge was leaking from the back causing it to rust. They gave me a date and time for the technician to come out. The day of the appointment I did not hear from him. After numerous attempts of me reaching out past the scheduled window, he finally calls me telling me he has to cancel with no notice at all. He finally came out the next day and was late again. He then gave me an estimate of $2500! At this point I was in a bind because I was hosting an event that weekend so I paid them a deposit and scheduled a new appointment since they had to order the part. Then the technician cancelled on me last minute again! When they came out to repair, they did the bare minimum to replace the part. They did not replace any of the rusted panels telling me that they are fine. I asked him to replace the filter and he said he was not able to remove it. They did not want to attach the water line from the wall because the valve was only able to stay in the on position so they had me sign a disclaimer in case the valve leaked if I wanted them to connect it. Trusting that they checked everything I paid them after them being there only hour (yes they charged me $2500 for an HOUR of work with the part only costing $500!!) The next day I go to use my water and ice and it did not work. How can the valve affect the water and ice if it is in the open position? I pleaded with him (Vladamir) to please come out and check anyway and he absolutely refused. The next day I noticed water coming out from under my fridge so I called the plumber thinking it was the valve. When he pulled the refrigerator out there was still a leak coming from the back of the fridge and a puddle of water under the fridge. The valve was completely dry meaning the valve was fine. I called them again and sent them pictures. I asked for a different technician which also showed up past he scheduled window. First, he couldn't even figure out how to remove the panel to look under the fridge. I had to tell him how the plumber did it. He looked under the fridge and said there was no water. I pleaded again to please pull the fridge out to look at the back of the fridge and showed him pictures. He then refused to do so because he had a bad knee! They clearly had no intention on looking at the problem because this guy was incapable of doing so. I asked him to leave and called Ann that states this on their Yelp bio. Anna S. Manager I've been work in HVAC/Appliance field since 2012 and my goal is always to bring the best experience for our customers. Communication and transparency along with quality service is my number one priority. I then called them 15 times and because my number came through, they did not pick up the call. (this appears to be their way of handling unsatisfied customers- please see other review) At this point I have been left to call another repair company since they will not stand by their work. Had them come over for an assessment, they were to order the part and we have text confirmation of that. They then said there was a miscommunication and the part wasn't ordered. They then dodged calls, and when you did get the receptionist, she said she had to call the technician to get his answer and call back. It was as if it were part of their script because she did the same thing to my wife and I with no response. I'm assuming this is part of their business model, to take a deposit, apply it to an inflated price they give you for something they might be capable of fixing and take the 85.00 for the 10-15 service calls they likely make daily. I finally pressed her, and she said it was backordered. I called Samsung direct and the part is NOT backordered. They have zero communication, no follow thru and won't return the service call money that resulted in no repair. Waste of time, money, and energy. Take your hard earned money elsewhere. read more

They stole my $500 deposit for repair. I called Constant Appliance to repair my microwave on Dec 31, 2022 (2 months ago). Konstantine showed up and initially quoted me $900. Then later changed the price to $1100 saying he would need a helper. I agreed and reluctantly provided a $500 deposit. A month and several times of rescheduling Konstantine showed up with a helper and worked on the microwave for 20 min then told me he needs one tiny little part to finish the job. He left, and its been a month and I have not heard from him. I have left numerous text messages and voice messages, and even spoke to his office manager. I am now without a microwave for 2 months and out $500. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the State Contractors Board and others. This will not end well for Constant Appliance, I can assure you of that. Stay away from them! read more

Vladimir is very responsive and polite. He replaced a broken door latch assembly on my Kenmore washer. His charge was 1/3 less than a quote from a competitor. And he has the correct part in stock. It's great to have my washer up and running again. read more

Our dishwasher wouldn't drain. They were able to send a tech out the same day and explained what was going on. They did a drain cleaning and gave us advice to prevent the issue from happening again. When we were still having issues they stood by their work and came back out to take a look and fix it again. Prompt, honest and great communication. read more

Vladimir came over to our home to try to revive our broken Kenmore fridge. He did a quick check and gave a fair price and a promise to come back in three days to fix it. He was efficient and tidy and was sweet to our dog. He needed another part at the end of the work and promised to come back at the end of the week. He did, he fixed it and he left. No drama. i have a Thermador built-in microwave which stopped working recently. im pretty good with fixing things around the house, but I decided not to mess with any of my appliances, since its a high end unit (retail over 11 hundred) called Constant on Monday morning and their tech knocked at my door in ~3 hours. Guy was polite and professional. troubleshooted the microwave and said that the magnetron needed to be replaced (it had shorted apparently) got it replaced in no time(2days, previous appliance repair companies made me wait up to 1 week to get my washer/dryer fixed) price was higher than i expected, but because of service quality/turnaround time im still satisfied thanks a lot, Constant. will call again. read more

I had two technicians come out before Vladimir came. He was amazing! We came back from a trip with still a dead dryer. Team was incredibly responsive in booking appointment. In under an hour I had an appointment for the am! He was so thorough showed me other components that could use replacement if I wanted to do while opened up... and I was up and running in about two hours. Wish I had called Vlad first. Like other reviewers, my experience with Constant Appliance began positively and ended poorly. My refrigerator needed repair, and they were able to send a technician very quickly. The tech that arrived was polite and professional, but he also misdiagnosed the issue and suggested buying a new refrigerator instead of carrying out repairs. I opted for repair anyway, and the tech told me he'd put in the order for the (fairly expensive) replacement parts. He accepted the down payment for the parts; eight days later, he said he had the parts and that he'd return the following afternoon to do the repairs. Instead, he not only missed the agreed upon repair time, he never showed up at all. Both he and the main company phone number would no longer answer my texts or phone calls. After a day and a half of trying, I switched to a different repair company that quickly fixed the refrigerator for a fraction of the cost. The fact that Constant Appliance was willing to accept payment, then no-show AND cut off communication is very disappointing. read more
