This is a late updated review from a year ago, but was going through my drafts...I hate to have to give this updated review but I was very disappointed with the last appliance inspection. I've used Rishat multiple times with great success. He always answers or gets back to you very timely. I do think he's a bit expensive but he was worth it if he can fix it. I had him check out my washer that was leaking. He tried to replicate the problem but did so on an empty, small load and it didn't leak and was ultimately unable to diagnose the issue. I still had to pay the $100 estimate fee, which is part of the agreement, but frustrating. With all the business I have given him in the past and being a property manager, I would have been happy to continue to recommend him if he could have waived his fee as a one time customer service or at least waived half of the $100 fee...since again, he could not resolve the issue. I was able to find another company and their technician was able to diagnose and fix the issue. I will be using them from now on. read more

Beware of this company they do crappy work. I had Rishat Sayfullon come to my home to repair and oven and microwave. After he left I had a gas leak and the microwave still didn't work. He called and claim to do a diagnosis over the phone and said it was nothing he did that he has over 23 years experience. After threatening him he came back and he found the gas leak where he installed the valve and the part he installed was not connected to the microwave. A few days later the microwave did the same thing and made a loud pop. He won't come check it he's claiming it's a different issue just like he did at the beginning. RIP OFF they charged a lot of money to do the repair that lasted less than 60 days. read more

I used Rishat and his company to diagnose my GE Monogram Fridge.  He charged me $100 to come diagnose my problem and said if I use him for the work for repair, he would apply that $100 to the job.  He came to my house and said the reason my fridge wasn't working is because two of the boards were burned out and said I would need to replace both of them to get it working again.  I found it odd that the fridge was working just a week ago and that now two boards had gone out.  I brought this to Rishats attention and he said that's what it is - but didn't give me a great explanation of how two boards can go out like that at the same time.  It's like getting two flat tires at the same time.  One is random enough,  but two at the same time - I felt it was unlikely.   Even though I have very limited knowledge of appliance repair - my gut told me this wasn't right so I ended up getting another technician to come from another company for a second opinion.  On the phone, this second technician also found it odd that Rishat said that two boards need to be replaced.  The new technician came over and confirmed that only one board needed to be changed. Only one board was changed out and now my fridge is working again.  I let Rishat know that I felt he either lied to me that two boards needed to be changed out or he didn't do his diagnosis correctly as clearly - only one board needed to be changed, not two.  He proceeded to give me excuses why he felt he did his job correctly but obviously he didn't.   I told him I paid him $100 to diagnose my issue and he didn't do it correctly (possibly even fraudulently up charging me) so I asked him to give me my $100 back.  He wouldn't.   I would NOT use Rishat again.  He either tried to cheat me or he didn't know what he was doing.  Either way, I had a poor experience with this company.   The technician I found actually cost half the price from a labor cost standpoint and he fixed my problem.    I never write bad reviews but I felt this needed to be written so this doesn't happen to others in the future. read more

ABSOLUTELY NOT. First of all, is this the same company as Appliance Repair Pro? They seem to be the same in some places and not others? But if it is the same.....DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY! It was a 100% scam! I called a legit phone number- got an appointment for the service man to come out. He did. Was extremely nice, knowledgeable and said I need this and that and he had to order the parts. Okay.....how much? He said $2100. I gulped and said maybe I should just buy a new refrigerator. He said....no, you could never get a sub-zero like this quality, etc....better for the repair, etc. Okay....so I agreed. He said he would put in the order and the company would send a link for me to pay half- $1000. Okay....Sure enough, I got the link and paid. And today.....today when the service man was "supposed " to come back and do the job.....NO ONE EVER CAME. I called and there was NO information on their end about my name or service. I called another number- just in case "I" made a mistake, NO information. And another number....NO information. Bottom line, I am disputing the charge and it was a total scam. I don't know how the number -might- have been switched to the scammer?? I don't understand any of it except that I paid- and have the proof of payment and no one knows anything about who did this????? ZERO stars read more

This man is a scammer and a thief. I never write reviews but this situation absolutely called for one. My roommate and I needed our dryer fixed so we searched online for a repair man to assess the damage. After sending a deposit of $104 to Rishat, we ended up not needing to move forward with the repair. I canceled the order within a few hours of ordering the part and was told by this man that I would not be refunded because of restocking fees and that the part had shipped - which it hadn't. He then proceeded to text me inappropriate and unprofessional messages regarding the fact that he was not planning on giving me my money back. Extremely weird, rude and uncomfortable experience. Well, Rishat, undisputed appliance repair PRO came through again yesterday for my washer component of my stacked fridgedaire combo washer/ dryer. Washer started making a strange noises and upon opening lid the agitator wasn't working. Called Rishat immediately and over phone he immediately gave me 3 scenarios: burned motor, bad transmission or simply broken drum belt. First two are prohibitively expensive to keep repairing washer-- forcing trashing it and facing CONSIDERABLE unexpected expense during holidays. I removed the front cover and saw broken belt ! Called Rishat and over phone he had me do a main pulley test to see if it moved ..and it did ! He then knew what exactly to bring to fix it in ONE visit. His pandemic health precautions are very satisfactory. So I'm rolling some more time with this unit after his new belt install and pulley lubrication. Thanks Rishat!! If I could do less than one star I would I agree with Dennis this company is stealing from their customers I have dealt with Gene in the past and he seemed to be an upstanding professional I think he sold his company to these people who just come steal your money shows up to fix my microwave door the only thing wrong with my microwave was the door when he left now my microwave doesn't work at all I could hold the door shut while it was cooking before can't do that anymore and the control panel is loose and not attached correctly I spoke to him about this he complained that it took me long to complain about it I complained the day I got home from work and found it like this it took them this long to get back to me this company is absolutely terrible they do not stand behind their word their work their credibility is out the window with me please do not use this company you will have a bad experience they're only multiple star reviews are probably family and friends these people are absolutely corrupt read more

Rishat (Appliance PRO) is reliable, honest, and worth every penny. He called to confirm and arrived within the window period he gave on our first call (trustworthy). His experience became apparent within the first 5 minutes. He completely disassembled our machine in the same period (competent). Amazing to witness. He could have charged (on a Saturday) what he wanted due to my inexperience with dyers and washers. However, he was honest (rare). All my repair required was a simple reset. He charged accordingly. I called Rishat to help with a stove and dryer that needed repair. He got there pretty quickly but the issue is after staying at the place 10 minutes, I owed him $120. Because of that I was forced to have him do the repairs which totaled over $700. The first part was incorrect so I waited a week for the second. Both repairs took about 30 minutes total to complete and he charged me $320 FOR LABOR ALONE. Are you kidding me??? He told me, well I had to drive here. So I'm paying him $100 an hour for him to drive to my house??? Let me repeat that. . .he charged me $100 an hour for DRIVING time. What company ever does that??? C'mon. I don't begrudge people from earning a living. I'm happy to pay a fair price for a fair job. But I don't think its right that you get raked over the coals for repairs that take a few turns of a screw to finish. It's not right. So beware, as soon as you agree to have him at your place, you are locked into whatever price he wants to charge. . . including driving time! If you are good with that, by all means use him. PS. He was going to give me a $20 discount but since I am writing a bad review he said he won't and he'll say mean things about me on his reply. You can see what you are dealing with. The guy showed up more than an hour late. After spending 15 minutes inspecting my dryer and ice maker, he said I owed him $135, which would be applied to the work that might be needed . Next day, he texted a confusing list of numbers he said was a "quote." The quote involved only a $45 credit toward the work that needs to be done. The other $85, he said after the fact, doesn't apply. Finally, when I asked for how he would consider fixing the situation, he told me to hire someone else. His tone was snippy and rude. His visit was basically pointless, confirming what I already knew. Wish I could give zero stars. read more

DO NOT TRUST, RIP OFF! Rishat was the guy who came out to diagnose and repair my kitchen aide microwave/vent. He unscrewed a panel then unplugged and plugged back in the wire to the main control board. It rebooted, then initially it looked as if it was working. Rishat charged me $145- that he only accepted a personal check for. He didn't accept credit cards. As soon as he left, my microwave started acting crazy again. The control board lights were flashing on and off by itself, if started to turn the fan on maximum by itself. Started beeping and programming itself. The buttons stopped working, I unplugged it from the outlet. I contacted Rishat within 24 hours via text, because he wouldn't answer my phone calls. Honestly this was the next morning. Let him know that it was still broken and that he did not fix it. He didn't offer to come back to look at it. He only gave me an estimate for a "possible" repair which totaled about $630- which included an additional $250/ for repair. So what about the $150- that I just paid him? ? He offered to take off $50 off the next repair. What? He never repaired it when he came out, yet was still keeping my money. I texted him kindly to ask him for at least my $50- back because he never repaired it, I texted that I felt I had been taken advantage of. His reply was that he didn't take advantage of me and that he did repair it! What? ?? He didn't repair it . He rebooted it, walked out the door and my appliance was still broken. I am still $145- of a loss! I never got to hear anything in the microwave. Still broken! Give me my money back!!! RIP OFF/ Scam artist/ Do not trust and do not have this person convince you that he can repair things. He will only take your money, over and over! No integrity!!!! read more

I have used Rishat many times, he is amazing. He will generally come to fix your appliance the same day. The ice maker in my Sub-Zero started dumping ice on the floor of my freezer. I called the factory approved repair service and they were not able to fix it after 4 expensive trips to my house. They replaced the ice maker with a maker that was not Sub-Zero, that did not fix the problem! Then the next repairman from the same company came out twice and charged me and did not fix it, he told me I needed to replace the entire refrigerator or he could replace the back of the refrigerator. Took weeks to get the parts and it did not fix the problem. Finally, I called Rishat who had the exact correct ice maker in his car and was able to repair it in one visit. It has been perfect ever since. This is not the first time that he was able to miraculously pull the correct part out of his car and fix an appliance on the spot. I called Applicance PRO Repair since my Bosch refrigerator with leaking on the floor. Rishat answered and at first let me know it'd have to be the next day before he could come. But I'm let him know that I was concerned that it was an emergent issue and he said he could be there in 2.5 hours. Needless to say I was very happy to hear this. Rishat gave me a 30 minute window for his ETA. He was on time. He replaced a cracked plastic tube that was connecting the waterline to the water dispenser and reseated my water filter that I had replaced but not correctly. His pricing is fair and he is polite and friendly. Hopefully I won't need his services in the future, but if I do I'm going to be calling Rishat at Appliance PRO Repair! read more

I'm so disappointed in this service that I received. I made an initial call and clearly explained that I had a fridge that was intermittently leaking from the bottom. I would like to have someone come take a look at it, but they most likely would not see the leak happening since it only happened once every 3-4 days. I was sent a technician, and he looked at my fridge for about 2 minutes, I don't even think he got on the ground to look at where I said the leak was coming from, and told me that he thought the water was leaking out of the water dispenser (and then dripping down the entire door). I explained that I was sure the water was coming out of the bottom, but he told me that until I did a complete defrost he couldn't be sure and wouldn't be able to help me any further. When he saw how frustrated I was, he told me that if it was still leaking after the defrost, he would come out for another service visit without charging me. So I paid him the $65 and he was on his way. I then did follow his instructions, did a complete defrost and the leak still happened. I was able to capture it on video and sent him a video, and he still said that unless he could see it in person he would not be able to figure out what was wrong. At this point I feel like he was doing anything to avoid coming out again since he said he wouldn't charge me for a 2nd visit. I also wish he would have just told me this the first time, before he came out and charged me $65!!! I then called another appliance repair company, who came and within 20 minutes of actually looking at my refrigerator was able to diagnose the issue (he also, did not see the leak happen). He ordered me the parts, came and fixed - and I haven't seen a leak since. I see all the good reviews out here, so maybe if you have a simple issue Appliance Pro will be able to fix - but if it's more complicated this guy definitely isn't willing or isn't able to figure it out! read more

The day of our scheduled appointment, I receive a phone call from Rishat stating that he forgot what time the appointment was and wanted to reschedule. This was very unprofessional. There's nothing like coming home from a luxurious 9-day trip to Maui, unpacking your suitcase, throwing a load of laundry in the washer and then following up on the mail, pile of newspapers you forgot to put on vacation hold, returning a bunch of missed phone calls and replying to a bajillion emails. Then coming back to the washing machine only to find - sigh - the drum is still filled with water, the dang thing won't drain or enter the spin cycle and it's Sunday so all the repair outfits are closed and it's going to have to wait to get it fixed. Dang it! Chun P. and I have no, and I repeat, absolutely, no handy type skills whatsoever and after troubleshooting a few basic things knew we were screwed and had to call for help. In the meantime we knew we couldn't let the clothes just hang out there in water for days because the fabrics would get weird so we painstakingly rinsed them all out in the kitchen sink a few times and placed them in small batches in the dryer because they were still a bit too wet and heavy and we didn't want the dryer to break a belt. (I now have a newfound admiration for our washing machine, and for what my foremothers went through before it was invented!) I called my regular repair person on Sunday and got no response, which wasn't a surprise being Sunday and all. But I also called on Monday morning and got no response. By late Monday afternoon I knew I needed to contact someone else, so I went to my most trusted resource, Yelp of course, and found Appliance PRO Repair. I called the number and left a message. Less than an hour later my call was courteously returned and an appointment was scheduled for first thing in the morning. On the day of, the Repairman, Rishat, called me and asked if he could arrive a little earlier than our scheduled time, which was perfect for me. (I'm sure you've waited like I have for hours for cable/repair/SDG&E and other people and to have someone show up a little early was a welcome treat!) Rishat quickly diagnosed the problem, replaced the washing machine actuator/lid switch, checked out all the rest of the washer's vitals and promptly put it back together, even re-positioning my washer and dryer to be more symmetrical in my laundry room. Then he had me put it in a few cycles to test it out to make sure everything was 110%. I had a $20 off coupon from the website which was great, though the repair price was reasonable already. Friendly service and quality, affordable repair definitely places Appliance PRO Repair at the top of my list! Now time to get to all that vacation laundry... read more

Our 20 year old Sub-Zero refrigerator was declared dead by the factory authorized repair company here in town. They said they would not work on it anymore because it was a 20 years old. They said it would cost thousands to fix. Rashad fixed it for around $700.00. The guy is a genius! Don't read all the nitpicking reviews that say negative things about him because of a few dollars here a few dollars there. Keep in mind that a new Sub-Zero refrigerator would have cost us over $13,000 and they're no different than the one that we have. read more
