Looking at our home today, you would never guess that it was a complete disaster just 7 months ago. Let me start by saying our project was not an easy one. Our home was damaged significantly in the Creek Fire and between the burn and water damage...it was a mess. Securing a really good contractor after a disaster of this magnitude was tough -From our 1st meeting with Richard (Owner & President) we were confident that we had chosen well. Throuout the process everyone we dealt with at CC demonstrated real caring and concern. Richard became an advocate when working with the Insurance company and provided sound council when needed. From start to finish, we were kept informed -- Wendy & Angie in the office are amazing-- scheduling is flawless so all sub-contractors could get what they needed to done on time, without running over one another. If there's a delay, you know why. Crew boss Moe and Julio are phenomenal as is Sego -- all are craftsmen that treated our home as if it were theirs. Hard working and always pleasant. These guys are expensive the highest from at least 10 other companies. I was looking for a complete re-roof, restroom remodel and drywall quote. They didn't provide an estimate never heard from them again Instead they referred my contact information to someone else without my permission. the other company said they charge less because they didn't have a high over head cost. After some thought I hired the guy who turned out to be a scam. He demolished my project and raised the price by triple. I had to fire him as he was trying to make fool out of me, had no contract writing skills nor a man of his word, and unprofessional. :-( read more

I am very impressed with my 17 new windows for my home. Julio installed my windows and was very professional and courteous. The job was postponed a bit due to weather but the job was done in an afternoon and morning session on successive days. Casey was extremely knowledgeable. Don't let Casey bring a presentation to your home or you will be getting new windows. They are just that impressive. The windows definitely pop out in the neighborhood and are reasonably priced. We used the HERO program to finance the windows and received tax credits at tax time. The only reason why I am not giving a 5 star review is bc this is my first review and I thought communication could have been a bit better with the company, but overall solid professional work. read more

We first worked with Construction Concern in 2018 - when we decided to re-do our daughter's bathroom. Waylan was our primary contact. He was charming and easy to work with and we were pleased with the crew & the work. When we decided to tackle remodeling more of the house towards the end of 2019, we called Construction Concern again. This time we met with the owner, Richard, and we learned where Waylan got his charm. We discussed several projects and Richard was patient and helpful in determining which items on our long list we would be able to accomplish with our budget. The scope of our project was fairly extensive and while there were challenges throughout the process - they were due to the subcontractors. Construction Concern always listened to our concerns and did whatever needed to be done to resolve them. The office staff, Wendy and Angie, are delightful, positive & caring. The construction team, Mo, Julio and Sego, are all wonderful to work with - respectful, helpful & skilled. Richard is attentive, thorough and committed to fulfilling & exceeding expectations. I hired Construction Concern to convert my bathtub shower combo into a walk in shower. The craftsmanship was excellent however the customer service and scheduling was extremely disappointing. It took over one and a half months to complete the conversion when it was originally contracted to take no more than two weeks. One day when I came by they were cutting tile on my balcony with the door to my living room wide open coating my entire place with dust! They also installed the wrong door and lied about it. After catching them in their lie they agreed to replace the door and when that day came, they called after they were supposed to arrive to say they would be an hour late. These are some of the many examples in poor scheduling, communication and poor customer service. If you are looking for a construction company that has ANY concern for it's customers STAY AWAY. Save your money and save your time by choosing to work with someone else. read more

I had windows installed by this company 5 years ago and the work was very good. Now, however, I need a screen replaced and they have taken the information and said it would take a couple of hrs. To get back to me. Two weeks later, I still had not heard back. I called again and got the same answer and now 3 days later I still have not heard from them. I finally got the screen replaced elsewhere and it took 5 minutes to make! read more

Construction Concern Inc., installed double pane windows throughout my two bedroom and den condominium several years ago. They did a great job. The insulation rewards were wonderful resulting in my electric bill going way down as I did not use the air conditioner or heater nearly as often. The owner of the company, Richard, was a pleasure to work with and priced competitively with other quotes we received. The true testament however is owed to the crew who worked on our project. They were extremely kind and considerate and took extra special care to not disturb me as I was home almost the entire project with some health problems. I purchased the top of the line anderson doors with a lifetime warranty. The door never closed properly from day one and it has gotten continually worse. After 5 or 10 calls asking for help two gentlemen finally showed up and said the hardware needs to be replaced. That was in August. One or two calls a week over the past several months and nothing happens. Now its late October and Im getting pissed. Debbie says she completely understands and will make it her personal responsibility to make sure my door is fixed. Another 3 weeks goes by. I call once a week. Todays Nov 18 and nothing. Im always promised Ill get a call right back within the next day or two and it never happens. I spent over $40,000 on work with Construction Concern and they wont even repair my broken door. read more

A very professional job well done from the initial contact, to the presentation and the eventual installation. The workers arrived on time, worked hard and finished ahead of time. One window had been scratched at the factory and was not noticed until it was installed. The company came out immediately, saw the problem and the window was replaced free of charge in a short time. My husband and I recently acquired an older home (1953) that is in dire need of TLC. We needed to have new windows, a new furnace and a new cooler installed. We found Construction Concern, Inc. and from our initial meeting with the owner we knew we found a good company. The owner came out to evaluate our needs and go over our options. He was very friendly, accommodating and genuinely concerned about fixing our problems and the prices were well within our budget. There were two separate crews scheduled for the work, one to install the windows and one to install the furnace and cooler. Both crews were polite, professional and hard-working. Each crew was on time and stayed until the installations were complete and cleaned up promptly after. We are very happy and satisfied with the results and with Construction Concern, Inc. I have been a homeowner for almost 7 years. This is my first construction project and of course I have heard about nightmares from other people that had bad experiences in the past. But not Construction Concern. They are EXCELLENT and pricing is reasonable. Richard Herron was very personable, kind and a pleasure to work with. He gave me a peace of mind that you cannot add a price tag to. He would call throughout the project to ensure I was pleased and if I had any questions. All of the people I came in contact with or talked to (Rachel, Debra, Julio, Mo and all the other employees) were absolutely wonderful, polite and informative people. The office personnel kept me informed about everything, the workers were nice, professional and clean. They replaced 13 windows, 3 doors, painted the exterior of my house and built me a beautiful sunroom including fencing around the open patio. Everything is absolutely beautiful. Purchased windows from this company in 2002 with a limited life time warranty. Track in master bedroom cracked and broke do to over exposure to the sun. This was in 2012, just under 10 years after installation. Called the 1-800# on the the warranty pamphlet and explained my problem. After a week, I didn't hear back so I e-mailed the person that I talked to on the phone and still nothing. Called back again and talked to a supervisor who apologized for not getting back to me and then said that company that manufactured the windows was no longer in business and no replacement part were available. Was also told that it probably broke because of something that I did. Well if opening and closing a window causes it to break, than I guess it was me. Emailed Construction Concern and told them everything. Never heard back from them. Be wary of this business. The other window on the same side of the house is also starting to crack. $6,500 worth of crap windows that are not honored by the warranty company or Construction Concern. I will like to share the excellent experience that I had with Construction Concerns. My very close Brother passed away in May, 2015. He lived in his home for 15 years. During the last 2 1/2 years of his life, he battled with a very difficult cancer that was throughout his whole body. During the many years of living in his home he took very good care of it. He had plans to do some improvements that he dreamed of, however he did not have the energy or the wellness of body to accomplish it. I have been in the Real Estate business well over 30 years and assisted many clients. This time it was a lot more difficult, it was personal and painful. I contacted Construction Concerns, Inc. for an estimate, as I needed to upgrade certain items in the home to market a home that reflected all of the love that he put in it. I accepted the estimate, and I am truly thankful that I did. Constructions Concern, painted my brother's home inside and out. Installed new eaves, installed new carpet, plantation shutters, mirrored closet doors, fixed existing kitchen cabinets and also installed Granite Counter tops and back splash. Re-keyed locks and replaced light fixtures. It looked absolutely beautiful. All of the work was completed in a timely manner and exceeded all of my expectations. Not only that, Construction Concerns, worked well with my budget and they were extremely patient with me paying them slower than I expected. I could not have hoped for a better company to work with and be blessed with outstanding results. My brother's home now has a new family that is totally thrilled and excited to live there. My dreams of making my brother's home something he would be proud to sell, could not have come true without the excellent customer service and understanding that I was provided.
