However, once I got to the mall I discovered, to my horror, that my iPhone would not charge. I then realized that I was standing 10 feet away from the Verizon store, and being a Verizon customer, stopped in to ask for help troubleshooting my device. I dropped off my completely dead iPhone XS Max with Nic. I'd spent the last weekend watching it get stuck in a pattern of trying to reboot, overheat, and then ultimately die and refuse to turn back on. I expected Nic to tell me that it was toast. From my first interaction with him, I felt comfortable, which is important when you hand over what's essentially become another limb to a stranger in hopes it can be fixed. He is very easy to work with, great attitude, put me right at ease. But even more importantly, he's very talented. Within a day or two, my phone is back in my hands, back from the dead. I am so grateful that Nic has saved me from spending a ton of money on a new phone and cannot recommend him enough.

After monitoring the order on the My Verizon app, I discovered I was only getting $8.28 in trade-in credit--toward a $1,000 phone! On top of that, I was told I'd receive a free Samsung watch, but instead it was quietly added to my bill at an extra $10/month. My bill didn't just go up "a few dollars," it shot up $50/month with the phone and watch payments. None of this was properly disclosed when I signed. This place runs like a used car lot--misleading, and dishonest. Verizon itself clearly backs these shady practices. Avoid this location at all costs unless you want to be scammed.

Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had at a Verizon store…read more I went this weekend to try to get my phone upgraded or replaced because of a cracked screen (which they couldn't do because of the restructure of financing plans - but, that is outside the scope of this post). I went Saturday morning and they were under-staffed. I worked with a blonde woman for about an hour. It was very clear that she had no idea what she was doing. She sold me a new phone but was having issues with the computer so she called her manager (who had taken the day off) in front of me, where she sassed him and gave him a hard time. It was literally right in front of me and was astonishingly unprofessional. After an hour, she told me she actually couldn't give me the new phone and took it back. When I got home, I realized that my original phone had completely stopped working and had been disconnected (she clearly didn't reactivate my phone). A couple hours later, I return to the store with my husband to have them fix the phone. The woman acted like it was an inconvenience to her that she had to deal with a problem that she had done. She spent an additional twenty minutes (and numerous phone calls to her manager) trying to figure why the 10 new SIM cards she had tried in my phone weren't working. Finally, the other rep walked over to her work station, looking down, and goes "you're using non-iphone SIM cards." I wish he had just helped me in the first place, he was clearly more competent and this would've never happened in the first place. After an hour, she finally got my phone back to working how it did before I had come in originally. She wasn't even apologetic for wasting four hours of my time. Furthermore, when I was being helped the first time, an older gentleman came into the store saying that he did an update to his phone and it had stopped working. She actually just told him she couldn't help him (not even suggesting taking into the Apple or anything) and turned away. The poor guy had no idea what to do. I doubt she'll be there long but I would say go to a different Verizon store if you can :(

I had almost the opposite experience from the one described here, so I wanted to chime in as…read moreanother customer. First, this is not some random third-party place like Best Buy or Target that just happens to sell Verizon along with everything else. It's a Verizon Authorized Retailer, which means they use the same Verizon systems and can basically do the same things a corporate Verizon store can -- upgrades, new lines, activations, SIM/eSIM, billing changes, troubleshooting, etc. I've gone to both corporate Verizon stores and this location, and the big difference I noticed is how much more time they spent actually helping me. At corporate stores I've often been rushed, told to call customer service or "do it online," and sent on my way. Here, they actually sat down with me, explained my options, and took care of everything right there -- including on a phone I didn't even buy from them. There are times when specific SIM cards or certain inventory can be limited, and that can definitely be frustrating, but that doesn't mean they're "pretending" not to have them just to force a sale. In my case they explained the difference between physical SIM and eSIM and still helped get me activated without trying to push a random phone on me. Also, from what I understand, Verizon has been moving more and more everyday service over to authorized retailers like this one and relying less on corporate stores. So it actually is in people's best interest to get familiar with these locations -- they're going to be the face of Verizon for most of us going forward. Everyone is entitled to their experience, but painting all authorized retailers as "only wanting to sell you something" just doesn't match what I've seen at this store. If you're reading these reviews and are unsure, I'd say at least give them a fair shot before writing them off.

After 7 days of waiting for the phone that we had paid for all we got was more and more aggravation. Not one staff member showed an ounce of empathy!!! When there were legitimate questions asked , what we got back was " there is nothing we can do"! If they thought your questions were asked again everyone of the staff told us they were being disrespected. They took no responsibility for the delays and told us we could not cancel the order.
