Absolutely terrible experience at the Verizon store in Forks Township, PA. The salesman assured me multiple times that I'd get full trade-in value for my old phone and that my bill would only increase by a few dollars. After monitoring the order on the My Verizon app, I discovered I was only getting $8.28 in trade-in credit--toward a $1,000 phone! On top of that, I was told I'd receive a free Samsung watch, but instead it was quietly added to my bill at an extra $10/month. My bill didn't just go up "a few dollars," it shot up $50/month with the phone and watch payments. None of this was properly disclosed when I signed. This place runs like a used car lot--misleading, and dishonest. Verizon itself clearly backs these shady practices. Avoid this location at all costs unless you want to be scammed. read more

Have gone to this location for numerous phones for my family and to get a watch for my daughter. Everyone there has been super helpful, making sure my new phone was set up and all my pics and contacts were transferred to my new phone. Love the fact I can get in and out quickly and no longer have to navigate Rt 22 to do my Verizon transactions. read more

I wanted to take the time to thank Ash, the manager of this Verizon location. I made a mistake that hurt me deeply and he took the time to listen, contact whomever was able to reverse my error, and make it right. It took time and a lot of paperwork but he did it. I was so happy when I got his call that he was able to help me. This meant a lot to me. He didn't have to do this. It was my error, after all. The reps at this location are second to none. Our NJ office goes through this location for purchases, etc. They know what they are doing and have answers to your questions. They sell you the phone that meets your needs and not what meets theirs. Reason why they don't get five stars is because Verizon is dropping the ball by having kiosks and not full fledged stores in the area. read more

This is not an actual Verizon store. They are independent and use the name R-Wireless. They did not honor Verizon's price and charged more for my new phone. Amazon sells their accessories cheaper even with their 20% discount on 2 or more items. Buyer beware! read more

I'm generally not that excited that Verizon dropped its unlimited data plans, but as far as this kiosk goes, service is great. My family has been on the Verizon cell phone plan for years, but we were looking to save some money and update our phones. Verizon rep Samantha really took care to analyze our past usage and get the best plans for us, even though that meant we would be saving money and Verizon would be losing money. We're really satisfied with the service, and Samantha helped ensure that we'll be sticking to Verizon in the future as well. read more

Not pleased at all with this outfit. They sold me a charger that they charged double for. The charger did not work because it kept coming out of the port. I took it back the next day and they said sorry no refunds. On the contrary, the manufacturer said the unit was warrantied, and Verizon corporate says the accessories are refundable up to 14 days but you must go through thempoint of purchase and they refuse to refund money, exchange the item, or even credit the purchase. So if you want to be overcharged for items you can't use and cannot return then this is the place for you! read more

If I could give this place a negative review I would. I had to call my credit card company to get a refund for a defective charger. Even with the receipt and well within the 14 day period, the clerk would not do anything or offer any solution other than telling me to call the store mgr tomorrow. Buyer beware. read more

Finally able to upgrade my son's phone! I cannot give enough praise to the staff at Verizon Wireless in the Palmer Park Mall (especially Lauren, but also Marcus and Benjamin)! They managed to accomplish something that 2 other Verizon Wireless retailers, an online chat with Verizon, and a "Customer Care" phone call were unable to accomplish! They managed to upgrade my son's phone! It all started with this attempt to upgrade my son's phone ( http://www.yelp.com/biz/the-cellular-connection-verizon-wireless-premium-retailer-phillipsburg?hrid=Csr3RU3P3VKi_xrpkBqPkQ ) ... After returning that phone, my Verizon Wireless account records were apparently left in an invalid state (corrupt?); it still showed a record of the earlier upgrade attempt -- a record that blocked attempts to initiate a new upgrade. I still wanted to take advantage of the Moto Droid Maxx promotion that was offered, so I proceeded to go to a bigger store (and, this time, a "corporate" store instead of a "Premium Retailer") in Clinton, NJ. Unfortunately, after quite a bit of discussion (some of it heated!) and failed attempts on the part of the staff and manager there, I was left in limbo. The staff in Clinton told me a handful of things: 1) I shouldn't work with the "Premium Retailers" ( http://www.yelp.com/biz/verizon-wireless-clinton-9?hrid=vjw2r8RC1QLZXlQsN4Rq6Q ) , 2) they couldn't correct my account records; 3) they wouldn't call the "Premium Retailer" to try to work together to correct my records; 4) the account support people that they called also couldn't correct my records; 5) nobody was able to override anything in the system. Their only recommendation was to check back "in a few days" -- perhaps the changes simply hadn't propagated yet. (IMHO, Verizon employees are very much slaves to their IT systems...) So, I went home and started working on the problem online and by phone. I had a helpful online chat with a Brittany from Sales that directed me to call Customer Care. After waiting on hold for a while for Customer Care, the attendant there was *apparently* able to quickly correct the problem... This should have meant that I could now walk into any Verizon retailer and initiate an unhindered upgrade. After all the problems thus far, I was skeptical of the ease with which she fixed it -- rightly so, as it would turn out. The next day, I went to yet another store, this time the Palmer Park Mall's corporate Verizon store. There, Lauren soon hit upon the same wall. However, this time, she and her colleagues worked harder on my behalf! We called Customer Care together and went through the whole history again; they were able to tell Customer Care exactly what they saw as the blockage. Finally, Lauren was able to do something (not sure exactly what, unfortunately) that the system *didn't* block! At that point, we were finally able to initiate the new upgrade with a factory-sealed phone! read more

We needed to transfer information from one phone to another. The phones are older and it was a challenging situation. Hayden worked tirelessly for an 1hour and a half. He tried four different programs before he was able to find the right match. We are so appreciative that we are able to use the same phone and not have to purchase a new one. Hayden and the rest of the staff at this store are always willing to take the time to help. read more

I will never return to this Verizon "kiosk" I was there twice today. I came around 10:30 to get a new IPhone. Since I didn't know my AppleID password the employee advised me that she would not be able to recover any of my data my contacts, texts, emails etc. and to go to the Apple store in the Lehigh Valley Mall stating that I would just have to show ID and fill out a few forms to retrieve my Apple password because they are " very secure". This was not a big deal I was completely fine with it. Until I drove 20 minutes to the Apple Store and was told this is NOT how the process works AT ALL. I was there for entirely too long to get absolutely nothing accomplished. When I explained this process to them they looked at me as if I had three heads. I drove back to the Palmer Mall at this point I couldn't have cared less about my contacts, email or texts I just needed a phone with my number that I could call or text I would worry about the rest later. Same employee ... saying she could not access the account which the number was under. After trying several different passwords and having the person who's the head of the account on the phone she still could not access the account. Thankfully the Verizon Store on Airport Road South has it together all I had to do was call and told them I was on my way, gave them my phone number and the name the account was under. I was in and out with a new IPhone in 30 minutes. They were more than helpful, knowledgeable, and competent than anyone working in this vending machine of a phone service in the Palmer Mall. read more
