I purchased a 2013 RAM 1500 from Travers Automotive GMT in March 2025 with a 30-day warranty…read more Within 15 days, the brake system completely failed. I was forced to bring it to their affiliated garage, Premier Auto (required to keep the warranty valid). They told me the brakes had been inspected and repaired. Only weeks later, the brakes failed again. This time, they told me it was just a defective caliper. Then, just a couple of weeks after that, the brakes failed for a third time. At that point, both the shop manager Mike and the office manager Mike told me my brake pads had worn down so low they had actually "fallen off," causing the calipers to overextend and leak fluid. That explanation makes no sense for a truck purchased less than three months prior -- and one they had supposedly "fully inspected" twice already. Instead of honoring responsibility, they lied, shifted the story each time, and then made me pay $600 out of pocket for that third repair, even though the problem had never been properly fixed. Less than 48 hours later, the brakes failed yet again. During this same period, the tie rod end separated, which led to uneven tire wear and a dangerous highway blowout. I had to tow the truck to Dobbs, spend $585 on two new tires, and another $600 in electrical repairs for problems caused by a dealer-installed device and a defective key fob. Altogether, I've spent thousands in repairs for a truck that remains unsafe and undriveable. As an independent masonry contractor, I've also lost tens of thousands in business because I cannot transport materials or equipment to job sites. And to make matters worse, when I called Sales Manager Brian to ask for a solution, he literally hung up on me. When I asked him if Travers sells bad cars and doesn't care, he responded: "Yup." Travers Automotive GMT and their affiliated garage, Premier Auto, have shown a pattern of lies, deception, and negligence. They sold me an unsafe truck, failed to repair it, shifted blame, and treated me with disrespect. Their conduct has endangered me and my family and caused devastating financial harm. I strongly urge others: avoid this dealership at all costs.

Instead, this experience has been financially and emotionally exhausting. Because of the constant brake failures, tie-rod separation, and electrical problems, the truck became unreliable and unsafe. This all started within 48 hours of purchasing the truck! I worried constantly about my granddaughter being in that vehicle, knowing the brakes could give out at any moment. The stress of that fear alone has taken a serious toll on my well-being. When the truck stopped being drivable, I had to start Ubering to work, which has caused additional financial strain and disrupted my routine. Between the repair costs, transportation expenses, and the emotional stress of watching my son lose business over this situation, this has affected our entire family. Travers Automotive GMT and their affiliated shop showed no accountability, no empathy, and no concern for the safety of the people depending on this vehicle. What should have been a dependable purchase has become a financial and emotional nightmare for both of us. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone.

It appears my review lines up pretty perfectly to the way others feel about Napleton Honda in St…read more Peters! We love the vehicle we purchased, just hate everything about the dealership! We inquired about the Costco Customer pricing program for a new vehicle. We were told only one particular salesman could discuss Costco pricing with us, so we scheduled an appointment time to meet and go over options. When we arrived, this salesman was trying to squeeze one final sale out of an old lady so we were told to take the car for a test drive for as long as we wanted. After about 20 minutes we finished our test drive and were satisfied with the vehicle. We were ready to buy. The salesman was still with this woman for an additional hour and a half! When it was finally time to talk shop we found out the Costco Pricing did not qualify for the vehicle we wanted. It only applied to the base model. So then the stereo-typical back and forth negotiations began. This included several, "Lemme talk to my Manager" breaks. It was another 2 hours of that nonsense before we finally agreed on a price. Then another 2 hours of selling us on extended warranties and financing. When we finally left it was close to 9pm, the dealership had actually closed for the night. We had no dinner and we were exhausted both physically and mentally. This was 2018 when we bought our new CR-V, still have the car and still love it, but unfortunately are still dealing with the dealership. Just last week my wife scheduled an emissions test at the dealership. She scheduled the appointment for 1pm, when she arrived they told her they hoped to have it done in 3 1/2 hours and should be ready around 4:30. No one contacted us by 4:30 so we decided we would just pick it up the next day. At 5:55pm 5 minutes before close we still hadn't received a call that the emissions was even complete. We called them and they told us the emissions machine went down and they hadn't even performed the test yet, no call, no voicemail. When my wife picked up the car the next day, they gave her a car wash voucher for an independent car wash in St. Peters. P.S. they have a car wash at the dealership. Will never purchase another car from this dealership.

We reached out several times and his responses were he's working on it and will reach out the following week. He never did. It's been 4 months and still no second key fob. The last time my mom and I reached out to him separately he ghosted us. HE'S A LIAR AND A SLEEZY SALESMAN. During the sale we mentioned the car payment was above our budget. We did make a deal on the monthly payment since it came with unlimited car washes and oil changes, however, these car wash tickets my elderly mother has to pick up to use and go to the actual car wash at a different location. Each time she has gone to pick up tickets they give her only ONE. She'll ask for more and they hand her just one more. She is clearly a senior citizen give her more tickets! Avoid this place they obviously sell you with all these perks that they either lie about or are a huge inconvenience.

The mechanic that answered some questions for me was very nice. Everyone was polite. Finance and sales always answered my questions even after the sale, including when I decided to cancel the extended warranty. They provided Car Facts on the cars. The not so good, but not unexpected either: Long wait times. Some possibly tall tales, like "we just can't find the keys to that car" and "the car you wanted was JUST sold." Overall: Pretty okay place. If you're not auto savvy bring someone who is, read the fine print, and don't be in a hurry.

It's going on almost 2 months and I only heard once from service saying they would call me to set up appointment and talk to sales about loaning me a vehicle while my was being fixed, it's been 3 weeks since I heard from anyone and I even left a VMM for the sales Manager last week. Also, the vehicle I traded in was never transferred out of my name and was in an accident May 22, which i got a certified letter from the tow company with the state of Missouri contact information. I do most of the work myself, including replacing the suspension front and back, spark plugs, oil changes, etc. I needed a coolant flush, and since I live right behind this dealership, I made an appointment. I could have done the flush myself, but I suspected a leak and needed a pressure test to confirm it, which I couldn't do at home. I brought the van in, informed them of the mileage (about 315,000 miles), and mentioned that I personally maintain the vehicle and stay on top of everything. Tanner checked the mileage and sent me on my way without any issues. A few hours later, I received a call saying, "Hey, there are too many miles on the vehicle; we are refusing to work on it." This was odd, as the mileage wasn't a problem earlier. I thought they might give me a specific reason when I arrived. However, to my shock, they didn't provide a better reason. Instead, they said, "They didn't want to do it because other problems may arise." Isn't that the point of taking your car in for service? If another problem arises, we diagnose and fix it. It's very odd for a service shop not to want to do what they are genuinely there to do, especially on a Chrysler vehicle. I hear that the parent company doesn't like it when dealerships refuse to work on their vehicles without a valid reason.
