I have made sure that I would not leave the store without asking her what her name is, having received her incredible SERVICE, and just like her name, April literally brought a refreshing springy breeze to my experience and the lively color of her hair was like enough of a reason for me to visualize cherry blossoms in that swift interaction. This particular UPS store's indeed very lucky to have such a crew member onboard as April, who is totally capable of making you feel happy for still being able to encounter an offline, actual human interaction in today's ridiculously digitized online world; where our social laziness also translates to a serious lack of mindfulness and quite frankly and honestly, I don't know which one causes which. I am a 41 year old man and if anybody told me like even 10 years ago that one day in the not so far future, that I would find myself in rare situations where I would feel the need to say "Thank You" to someone, just for the Goodness in them, I would've only laughed out loud as that would sound odd under the circumstances of being a human back then. They have helped me ship items across the globe and they have all safely arrived at their destinations, unharmed, all in one piece. Yes, the UPS Store and UPS shipping is more expensive than other shipping options, but I do feel you are paying for premium service and quality, as well as a guarantee. I just made a really big move and Johan and his team made sure I got every single box within a week. Given the distance I moved, I was really shocked at the pristine condition of my belongings once they arrived and also with how fast the shipping was! It's the disclosure around it or complete lack of that infuriates me as a consumer. I have a feeling this store intentionally does this without notifying the merchant or the consumer. This is a direct violation of SB478 in California. Update - I called another UPS store in town and this fee that this location charges is up to the store franchisee and their own policy. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The elderly staff member was especially helpful when he recommended that I use a large plastic mailing envelope pouch instead of a cardboard box for my Amazon return to save me money. The clothing I was returning fit perfectly in that large mailing envelope pouch. I plan to use this location again whenever I have to return an Amazon product.

Can be grumpy, but does fine work and provides good service given her conditions. CONS - Only one worker basically at all times. So a line can form, which of course then gets blamed on the one worker. Where's the owner though? Maybe make be there more often during peak hours? - Fees only increase. What we get for those fees has not changed in years. Last service improvement was when they started to send emails when a package arrived. Cool. But that was several years ago. In six years, base price has doubled (outpacing inflation). We're now charged if we receive too many packages. And we're now charged if we don't pick up our package in three days or less. - Costs for additional items (tape, envelopes, etc.) too damn high.
