New taco spot in the area. Decided to stop by for lunch. Service was great! I was greeted as soon as I walked in by the owner. Food came out at a reasonable time. Ambience Was good. The outside is very inviting. They have outdoor seating. The shop is clean, and organized. The menu was easy to read on the screens above the counter. They also have paper menus if needed. Pricing is good for a street taco. Love that they have taco Tuesday deals! I ordered Adobada, Carne Asada, and pollo. I got a total of 6 tacos for my husband and I. They were all very delicious and filling. I love that the tortillas are handmade. They are generous with the amount of protein given. Parking available since it's in a small plaza. They have a drive-tru that isn't opened yet but they are working on the logistics of that. Happy to see a new spot in the neighborhood. Looking forward to working our way down the menu. read more

Good food. Unfortunately the customer service is horrible. It was 2145 last night when I arrived, and I was trying to order food and the cashier locked the door on me saying it was already close. But the hrs of operation are stated till ten, so which one is it? Another time, same girl also packaged my food right after handling rugs from the floor and not wash her hands. Tried giving this place another chance but what a disappointment cause the food is good. But employees need to be kept on check and held accountable for their bad service. read more

Holy cannoli, that was one of the best burritos I've ever had and I consider myself a Mexican food connoisseur... It was so creamy and yummy and all three salsa that came with the burrito were so fresh and deliciously spicy with different notes of different peppers... My review is long over due. This is my spot! So happy they revamped the menu. My only complaint is working on creating a better hot sauce ( not the chipotle sauce). Their customer service is top tier. I've had their rolled tacos all potato, beef and chicken. Chipotle shrimp taco, surf and turf fries , carne asada fries, chicken quesadilla, chips and a side of rice and beans, street tacos , pineapple agua Fresca , Cali burrito and their newly added crispy chicken taco. My first time at contodo I got the surf and turf fries. The food tasted very fresh and different from typical taco shops in southeast San Diego. The French fries were crunchy, the carne asada and shrimp were tender and well seasoned but not salty, and the guacamole and pico de gallo were vibrant and fresh tasting. Overall the food was delicious but I took a star off because the total came out to about $18, the portion was much smaller compared to other tacos shops, and the drive thru wasn't open today. I ordered inside and waited about 15 minutes for my food to be prepared. They played really good music to listen to while customers wait or eat. I'd come back to try other items. read more

She recommended me some items on the menu. I'm a huge fan of anything surf n turf so I tried their tack that contain shrimp and asada ! Also had 1 fish taco and 1 spicy shrimp taco! All amazing. My wife had the carne asada fries and she loved it saying it was flavorful. I took a bite of her fries and she was right. The meat was well prepared and tasted so flavorful.
