This company wrongfully towed my Tesla even though it was properly registered with my condominium association. When I provided proof, they refused to take responsibility or reimburse me. To make matters worse, the vehicle was towed improperly (not on a flatbed as Tesla requires), putting me at risk of thousands of dollars in potential damage. Because of their negligence, I had to take a full day off work, pay out-of-pocket for towing, storage, and a $160 Tesla inspection just to make sure my brand-new car wasn't damaged. I have all of this documented on video and will be filing complaints with the Illinois Commerce Commission, the Better Business Bureau, and pursuing small claims court. This is a predatory and unprofessional business that takes advantage of people instead of taking responsibility for its mistakes. I would strongly warn anyone to avoid using them. read more

I have gotten my car towed, which has resulted in damages to my car. They changed their parking system out of nowhere, in which the new system does not send you reminders to pay for the permit before it expires like the last one. They have no regards for the wellbeing of any resident nor their vehicles. Since the tow company, I have had to deal with a tire that is consistently going flat and the part that keeps debris from my engine is destroyed. Typical towing racket looking for any reason to fleece people out of money. I'm in the middle of a kitchen remodel and they towed my electrician's clearly marked work truck parked on the street outside of my home citing neighborhood HOA policy of no street parking. There was no guest parking available in the lot and other contractor vehicles were parked in my driveway. Guy was working out of his truck with his tools and equipment and they could've cared less. Wasn't blocking anyone or creating any kind of dangerous situation on the street in front of my house. I saw them getting ready to tow my vehicle. As I ran out with my keys in hand, I stood in front of the driver where he could visibly see me. I was yelling and waving my arms. As he was finishing hooking up my vehicle to the tow truck, he got in his truck, drove AROUND me and took off. He was supposed to stop, leave my vehicle and charge me half of what they usually would have but he didn't. Instead, he ignored me, drove around me and took off. I'd give zero stars if I could. we've had two unjust towings in the past year by this company. We had to go through our neighborhood association to get our money back because their customer service is atrocious. the most recent time they towed was August 1st of this year. they towed our car from our court parking lot because our license plate sticker was expired by 3 hours... yes it was expired July 31st and they towed it August 1st at 3am. This place misuses their authority and makes you cough up $240.70 to get your car back, then makes you wait weeks to get your money back. Towed my car ON CHRISTMAS EVE for my parking pass not being visible from the front of my car, EVEN THOUGH THEY AGREED IT WAS VISIBLE FROM THE SIDE OF THE CAR. Complete criminal company in my opinion. Had to call the police to make sure it wasn't stolen (though it essentially was). My car was in my registered spot in my complex, where I've parked for months with no issue. They claim to be open 24 hours, however my friends and I called numerous times just hours after my car was towed (again ON CHRISTMAS EVE) as well as on Christmas Day and no one answered - their phone tree kept looping. We even showed up ON CHRISTMAS DAY and no one was there. Then when we were finally able to speak to someone on the phone on 12/26, they said they agreed they could see my pass from the side of the car but claimed they were still "open 24 hours" so they had to charge me for 3 days (even though we could not get anyone on the phone nor in person) - they wanted to charge me $380 in total! I asked to speak to a manager because we had been trying to pick up the car since the day it was towed - they said their managers were in meetings. At 9:30am the day after Christmas? Sure... By the time I got there to get my car, they magically said they weren't going to charge me the $45/day storage fee but still *had* to charge me $240 for the tow. if I could give 0 stars I would. let me start off by saying they started to tow my van the other day and must of realized I had a pass so they put it back. I only knew that happened because when I went to leave to work the following morning it was parked reversed in and I had parked it face forward. Now today when I got home I checked the online pass and it said it expired at 9:31 pm. So I set my alarm for 9pm to renew the pass. My neighbor knocked on my door and 8:30 PM and told me that they just towed my van. I immediately started to call them but no one answered. I called for an hour and no answer. Meanwhile, my sister drove up there for me and was there since 9:20 and nobody was up there. finally when the tow truck driver got there he told her that my pass expired at 8:31 PM. Even though the website said nothing about it being expired at 8:31. like I said, when I checked the website it said it was due to expire at 9:31. If they're running an hour ahead time or something or whatever time they need to let people know because it doesn't say that nowhere on the website. I have stage 3 colon cancer and barely went back to work last week after being off for months due to surgery and doing chemo therapy and this is not what I need right now. This company is a joke. (it was towed for no permit from the lot it has been in for 6 months with the permit) they claim the permit was not displayed, that's not the issue, that is a my word against the driver, unfortunately) The issue is It took hours to locate the car. A towing company must report it to the police with in an hour. Preferably to the correct jurisdiction. The city told me to contact county as the address is not city jurisdiction. The county had no record so the car was listed as stolen. It took me a bit of work to locate it. Turns out the address on the paperwork was wrong so it was reported to the wrong authority. You would think the towing company would know what parking lot they are in. (that might come under the heading of responsibility) Further they should read the laws regarding signage. These are governed in Illinois by section 5/4-203(f) volume 625. Also Illinois legal aid online breaks them down for you. It is very specific as to location, size and even print on the signs. This mess took up my entire day, I work for a living! Further the people I dealt with were abusive. (Was I unpleasant, yes I was, especially after hours of being given the run around and that was my bad, did I swear, threaten or personally attack anyone, absolutely not) Apparently, because I slammed my license down, and I own that. I was told that because of that, I would have to wait for 20 minutes (exact words: "Did you slam that? Well now it is going to be another 20 minutes, I have other things to do". Keep in mind this is a filthy unheated waiting area with a rusty hole where the doorknob should be. I had previously had the storage charged waved due to the problem with location, the woman at the site reran my card and made it clear she was charging it because she did not like my attitude. Then I was told to find my own car alone to a dark unlocked lot with ankle deep muddy water. Complete disregard for peoples safety. I was not aware that the employees are authorized to abuse unwilling customers. Guess what, you work at a towing company impound lot. Most of your clientele are not going to be happy campers. I know there is a labor shortage so maybe this company should invest in training employees on how to handle people who are upset. I encourage anyone who is put through this to know your rights and report violations to the Illinois department of commerce. the form is on the back of your receipt, if not, they must supply you with one. I have also filed a complaint with OSHA regarding the unsafe practices in the lot. If you have to deal with these people, make sure you keep ducks in a row, document, record, photograph and file. Need to get someone towed because it's snowing out and someone is in your spot or the wrong spot? - no one answers the phone. Any other time - these guys wait out in the lot any given night, sometimes early morning, just looking for reasons to tow people. Have heard from other residents , if you have a reserved spot in our lot, that if you don't ALSO have the parking permit, they will tow a vehicle from that reserved spot. That someone pays for. So if any relatives or friends want or need to stay over at your place, they can't even park in your reserved spot. The people in the office have been fairly good to deal with, but its apparent the business model and the drivers are predatory and nothing more. There is no "service" provided here, other than them looking to make money. If you see their sign on any property, watch yourself to the "T" and know the ins and outs of the rules of your complex and lot so that you are not towed - they do not pull any punches. read more
