Words can't even describe what kind of atrocious towing service this really is. They feel entitled to charge exorbitant fees... and then feel as if they can compensate with a $1 bottle of water. First of all, I was told on the phone on a certain day that they would be open for me to pick up up vehicle, which I specifically clarified... and when i Ubered all the way there they turned me away... saying they can't release my vehicle... okay??? And added extra fees for the days that they claimed I couldn't even pick it up. They are unprofessional and all obese and very rude... there are no parking spots and they add tacky, yellow marker or crayon on your windows referring to the reasoning for your tow rather than keeping files properly.... I waited hours to get out of there even after paying the extra fees, that were still not clarified to me... other than the day I'm picking my vehicle up (same day) it was not stored... so don't know why I was charged... then they explain to me, that I potentially still can't leave because my car is blocked in and they have no driver to come and move the cars they have surrounding mine... unreal. I told them it's unacceptable.... Furthermore I will never recommend this towing service to anyone, and the uncleanliness of this facility is repulsive, considering I saw a cockroach crawling in the waiting area go back to its hiding spot. The cockroach resides in this dump, because it knows it's a shithole and feels right at home. They've no exterminator to tend to this issue, yet feel they have the audacity to charge ridiculous fees to a beautiful women, who doesn't deserve this malicious treatment from filthy hillbillies. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. Our car died on a freezing cold night in the right lane of a busy intersection. We called Fire and they said they'd be there in 35 min. After 40 min I called and was told 10 more min. Nope. The next time I called it was 25 more min! Finally the driver himself called and said he'd be there in 35 min!! Thank goodness our son-in-law had come to meet us so we could sit in his warm car or we would probably be frozen by then. In the midst of all this the DG police had come by and parked behind our car with their flashers going to direct traffic around our car. We kept them updated regarding what was happening with the tow. Finally they (the police) called another towing company for us (O'Hare) and they arrived in about 10 minutes. We were finally able to go home. I understand that the demand for towing is high during winter weather but if Fire had been honest with us at the very beginning and told us that they had only one driver and that the wait would be well over an hour, we could have called another company. Instead they strung us along until the police officer took charge and got us another tow. read more

While I hope you never need the services of Fire Towing- if you do-know that these are some great people that deal with car hiccups in a professional, calm manner which for me who gets freaked out when my car doesn't function, was greatly appreciated. On a horrible rainy day in Chicago- while trying to avoid a flooded road- I hit a pothole large enough to give me two flat tires and rend my car inoperable. One call to Fire Towing had the towtruck on the way. They said they would be there within the hour and within 30 minutes they were pulling into my location which was no small feat given they are in Westmont and I was in the W Loop area of the city. Rick- the driver, got me safely in the truck, and then got my car up and on the truck in about 10 minutes. We were back in the suburbs within an hour of my panicked call. Needed towing on 12.24.2022. Talked to their girl, gave her all the info she requested and she told me she will send me an email to confirm my debit card. She newer does that. Then I call again, and a guy answers. Says he has all the info, and he will call me back. Then he said that I was talking to multiple towing companies and he will not send his driver to my location. He even told me that he informed the police about my case...?! It was about 5 degrees f at that time and I was sitting in my car that couldn't start for about 2 hours... Useless isthe only word. I got a small limo bus stuck in a culvert at the customers house. The driver shows and right away making a huge deal about it and only talking about COST! Driver issue. One of your drivers decided to do a U-turn through a red light and cut all the other left turners off as we were about to get a greenlight. What the heck? This happened at 10:30 AM by the Arboretum which intersects with the park Avenue in Lisle. You need to teach your drivers to obey the law. read more

Needed a dead jeep brought back home when it wouldn't start after work. In my experience, friendly guys, decent price, and the driver even backed his truck down the tricky alley at my place to drop it off in my driveway. He even helped push it into the driveway since the turn is too tight to make with a tilt bed. I would recommend these guys. read more

After my car broke down I was stuck in the middle of the street so the cops came and he called a towing service which happened to be this one and it started out great I thought I talked to the guy and gave him the info of the place that I wanted him to take the car and he seemed like he knew the place but as I called the next day the auto shop that I called never received my car but has all my info and as I continue to call the other ones they say they haven't received my car either then as I called the towing company they said that they visited three out of the four auto body shops in the area and decided that visiting the fourth one wasn't worth it, so they decided to take it back to their lot and now are charging me for a tow that would have been only about 40 bucks is now over $200 I will not be using them again and I will make sure I can make every post I can I hope you guys feel good about stealing from a mother. read more

I would highly recommend Fire Towing for towing and for jumping car batteries. I spoke with John to set up the towing service and then Eric called me a few times to let me know where he and my car were throughout the process. Eric knew right away that my car needed a new transmission and called me to let me know that the repair shop I asked him to take it to does not do transmissions so I rerouted him to a shop that does. He definitely went above and beyond the call of duty and I love the fact that they truly cared and didn't want to see me get ripped off by having to tow the car again to a different location.
