Have used him in the past and decided to try him again. So I've been a good customer. Purchased the carpet, while loading the carpet into the truck he proceeded to lift and push a roll of carpet right through the truck window. He claimed no responsibility and pretty much went into his office a shut the door. Now I'm $1000 into a truck window which he should have been responsible. His product, his premises his responsibility, therefore I will take my future business elsewhere. If you do decide to buy from this guy DO NOT assist in any way. You could be next. read more

Bad choice on our part to hire Contractors Flooring Supply. We entered into a contract to have new carpet installed in six rooms (four bedrooms, living room and dining room). George called and said he had ordered the carpet and we had to pay the 50% then, and we were originally told we would pay 50% on the first day of the install and the balance at the end of the installation. We were given an install date and when they were an hour and a half late, we called to find out where they were and we were told we were not scheduled for that day, (Thursday and Friday), but on Friday and Saturday. I clearly remember discussing with George that the job would take two days and possibly an additional half day and if necessary, he would have his guys finish the job on Saturday. There is a very noticeable seam peaking in the living room, and we decided to wait a few weeks before saying anything. Since we had not received a paid invoice or a lien waver, I decided to stop by Contractors Flooring Supply to pick up our copies. At that time, I mentioned the noticeable seam peaking and was told to give it a month or so. Now it is approximately three months post installation and the seam peaking is still noticeable. We called Contractors Flooring Supply and George came out and his comment was he didn't see anything wrong, just moved his hand over the seam to move the fibers. After telling him we were not happy with the seam his comment was "It is called shadowing" and that is perfectly normal and there is nothing to fix. We could have a carpet inspector come out and look at it, but he would say the same. Again we told him we were not happy and he said to look up "Carpet Shadowing" on the internet. I did and this is what I found. Seam peaking Seam peaking occurs when the seam is set, and then stretching occurs as the installation process is completed. When the carpet is stretched, it is pulled where the edges of the tape are attached to the carpet, and the two pieces lift to create a peak. Seam peaking can be minimized, but only if a professional understands how to install a carpet correctly. This is often one of the easiest ways to tell a professional job from one that wasn't. read more

Do not waste your time with this store. They sell faulty product and do not back up their product with any type of guarantee. I am a floor-layer by trade and have laid many floors of many types with little to no issue. This place sells my mother a garbage product that is faulty and refuses to replace or refund the product and says "Well we can have our installers do it for you for an additional cost" They only care abut squeezing you for all of your hard earned money. As someone who does this for a living I know a bad product when I see it. Be smart and spend your money elsewhere. read more
