We have had MARK her twice for two different appliance repairs. He is pleasant, professional and capable.

Had a crack in my freezer a repair man was to come a try to fix it. I ask if we had to empty and unplug the fridge - I was told no. The repairman came and said he would have to come back because he can't repair the crack when the freezer is cold. So back he came over a week later. We were told to wait 24 hours be for we close the door and turn the fridge back on. Went to fill the fridge and the crack was back. Went to Mannys in Canton CT to pick out a new fridge as I had 5 year warranty. The repairman was there and said it was a 50% chance it would work - not good odds. Thursday I got a call that my fridge is in and it would be delivered Saturday. I never heard what time they were coming so I called the store and they said it wasn't scheduled and next delivery would be Tuesday ugh! Of course I emptied and un plugged the fridge which is a lot of work. So now every time I need something from the fridge I need to get it from the garage floor and downstairs for the freezer. I have referred a lot of people to Mannys but not anymore. Maybe I should just get my money back and go to Home Depot. read more

After 3 years and $5.000 of loyalty, I am all done with Manny's! I have a 3-year-old Maytag Washer retired for backup duty once i repair it that still has 2 yrs of warranty remaining and a 3-year-old Maytag Dryer that has had multiple service calls and still does work as it was designed to and sold as. The extended premium 60-month warranty is worth $0 but cost $160 per machine. Don't buy it! It may be in part due to the unrealistic regulations that manufactures cannot build a machine that last more than 2 or 3 years and therefore the logic to purchase the extended warranty. However, poor performance or featured cycles that do not work over time are just dismissed as "not covered but we can fix it for $$$$ or just don't use that feature" Customer Service is a thing of the past, now I purchase relatively inexpensive washers & dryers, no extended warranties and expect to toss them out every 2 or 3 years; how is that for saving the environment! read more

I brought a washing machine it only lasts for 2 years whirlpool the service is very bad delivery driver people don't speak English come to your house don't know what they doing not professional at all I recommend nobody go to Manny's I was not happy at all no more very horrible experience in my life and I thought manny supposed to be the best place to buy appliances I don't think so watch out read more

I bought a new GE refrigerator, and after 6 months noticed the internal temperature was fluctuating, sometimes up to more than 60 degrees. Service technician came out 5 times, did several things but could not fix it. Then it was referred to the service manager, who also came out several times and did several things. Finally he figured out the valve controlling cold air flow from freezer to refrigerator was stuck, and he replaced that. By this time the 1-year warranty was almost up, and I asked for an extended warranty because I wasn't certain the problem was permanently solved. Note that I could have demanded a new refrigerator, but I didn't, I just asked for an extended warranty. They charged me $300 for the warranty. So I had to pay $300 extra because they had delivered a defective appliance. I was very disappointed in the product and the service. read more

I bought a fridge from manny's during the tax free weekend in august, having been told I needed to wait 2-4 weeks for the appliance to arrive. I waited 3 damn months! If I had known it might take that long i would have chosen an in stock model. Instead I was promised a fridge in a month or less and waited three times that long meanwhile my old fridge was non functional. Someone I spoke to one of the many times I called to check on the status asked me if I "watched the news" when I complained it was taking so long. Like yes I do but the point is I would have bought a fridge they already had in stock if I had only known, but they said 2-4 weeks. Crappy customer service having been chewed out plus having to call multiple times to speak to a person. Very very frustrating experience. I will NOT go back. read more

Purchased an air conditioner and a grill from their website. Both were special orders, which never arrived after 2 months. When we cancelled the orders, they tried to sell us other models, which we refused. A relative ordered a new washing machine which ended up having a major mechanical defect, causing major water leaking. We called mannys to schedule for repairs. Their schedulers kept cancelling and messing up appointment times, causing us to wait for hours just to get a no show. When they did show up, they were know-nothing people who tried to fix the machine unsuccessfully. After 5 unsuccessful repair visits and much wasted time, mannys refused to give us a refund. On our own we finally had to contact the manufacturer who is scheduled to send out a repair person, no thanks to mannys. Stay far away from mannys, they are nothing but trouble. They are are nothing like they used to be. There are other, much much better places to purchase. read more

OK, a few months into the pandemic, I wore a mask as I went to Manny's in Westfield for a refrigerator. I asked 'will the delivery crew wear masks?' The answer: 'that's up to the crew.' Unacceptable. I walked out. Today, I gave them another chance.Walked in, and 3 out of 4 employees were not wearing masks. Unacceptable. I told them I was looking for a fridge, and had purchased from Manny's before....but without masks? NO WAY. And I walked out. First, as a retail business, they are breaking the law. Second, they lost a customer. I went across the street to The Home Depot, and put down $1600 on a new fridge. Everyone there? Was wearing masks. read more

Bought 3 pc kitchen appliances in the beginning of November for Black Friday sale in 2020. This is now end of February 2021 and still no appliances!! Have been calling every 3 weeks to check and just called again and was told 2 out of the 3 were in the warehouse for about a month!! I was never notified, not even when I called to be updated!! Then they were going to make me wait another 3-4 weeks for delivery needless to say my range and dishwasher will be delivered next week!! I only hope they are letting people know now how backlogged they are and truly how long they will have to wait unlike when I bought mine when I wasn't told anything!! read more

I purchased a kitchenaid dishwasher back In October of 2019. While the product is good the installation was not. I have called to try to get them to fix the dishwasher due to the installation but they want me to take time off of work so they can come and fix the problem that I never should have had in the 1st place. I think they should make an effort to repair the machine and get it operating properly during a time that works for me. I should not have to take time off from work so they can properly finished the installation. read more

Manny's delivery service is terrible. The delivery people would not bring my washer dryer up a flight of stairs for a disable person (me) and complained about how they would hurt themselves doing it despite telling them at the time of purchase it would be installed upstairs and they agreed to do so. Never going back to Manny's appliances after more than 30 years of doing business with them. read more

Great prices.. And a good location for comparison shopping. Started at Manny's. Went across the road to Home Depot. Returned immediately to Manny's to buy my dishwasher and microwave. Cannot beat Manny's prices. Delivery is a bit of a problem because of Covid, but that's true of Home Depot and Lowes...appliances are not being delivered from manufactures because of the problems getting parts. But, if you can wait (and everyone has to) Manny's has the best prices and a pretty extensive selection. read more

Right from the start awful experience. The delivery person asking for my number to be phone buddies, the refrigerator didn't come with an ice maker. I guess that was a separate piece that the manager didn't tell me, even after we talked about making ice. Then when they had to come back to install the ice maker they arrived after the window period that they gave me, 25 min late with no courtesy call to let me know. Would I go back to mannys? No I would not, I think all around it was very unprofessional I think Manny should go work in the Westfield store instead of pushing his olive oil. read more

We purchased a stove, refrigerator, micro wave oven. and last but not least a DISHWASHER we have had the repair man three times the 1st time it cost us $99.00 second time 62 dollars. the issue is still not resolved however Ed in the parts department has gone above and beyond trying to resolve this issue, We purchased all LG products according to consumer affairs it was suppose to be top of the line. just bought a refrigerator, it has an ice maker, which I guess they all come with now. If that ice maker isn't in off position it will make a horrible noise. I had this happen to me. They sent a service man out right away after I complained. problem solved make sure ice maker is in off position if not in use. its underneath in freezer next under box it comes with for ice. Thank You Manny's service dept. now I can sleep ! Love my new refrigerator read more

If you can go elsewhere, please do so. I have never had such a negative experience in my life. We were told of a promotion for a refrigerator on June 4th and if we could wait for delivery until June 21st we would save money. What we were not told was they did not have the product they were selling in stock at all. Numerous phone calls were made. they do not answer their phone, still no refrigerator. We bought and paid for this product on June 4th. Today, July 28th they show up at our doorstep with the refrigerator full of dents. We just sent it back. Manny's still has our money and we have no refrigerator! Do not believe any of their promises. It is a bold face lie to promise delivery of a product, take a customers money and do not delver on your promise I will never and I repeat never step in that store again and will also advise others not to do so also. read more

We bought a refrigerator from Manny's in Westfield. It was back ordered which we knew from the start. On the delivery day it was scheduled between 3-5. They did call once to say they were on their way which was approximately 4:45. They were 15 minutes away. They didn't arrive until almost 7:00. That was issue #1. Upon removal of the old fridge they scratched my wood floor in two places. The driver made note of it on the receipt. We heard nothing back so we called the store after a week. Got the run around again. Two weeks later we have not heard anything. Very disappointed in Manny's as we chose to use a local store. Never again. read more

This is the worst customer service that I have every dealt with. I have a dishwasher that has been broken since November. They have been out to our home 4 times to try and fix it and have not been able to. I understand that mistakes happen, but on top of not fixing my dishwasher, I have called 5 times asking for an update since my last service on January 17th and am given a response of, "let me look into this and I will call you back" and no one will call me back. I have not received one call back. I even called and asked for a manager and got sent straight to voicemail. Shop at your own risk and if you do, I hope your expectations aren't very high. read more

I bought a refrigerator in August 17, 2019 and was told that they didn't know if they could get it from the suppler. That seemed odd. So I asked if I could buy the one on display. They delivered it as planned, but two shelves were missing. I called the salesman who I purchased it from and he said he would send an email to the manufacturer and they would ship them to me. I waited a month before calling again. The salesman said the same thing. I again waited. A month later I drove there to speak to the manager. He said that he would take care of it. It's been 5 months and still nothing from Manny's. Good delivery services, but horrible customer service. Their ads say that they "live here" implying that they care about their local customers. I disagree. They seem to only care about making the sale, then you're on you own. read more

I had a turned off the water to my GE machine while I was away for a few days, came home and forgot the water was off when I loaded the machine and started a cycle. I then turned water on and somehow caused the machine to lock-up. I tried everything I could think of and finally decided that I needed to call Manny's for a service call. Ed answered the phone when I called and was incredibly pleasant, friendly and helpful! I explained in detail what I had done, and he listened to what I said,he made a single suggestion, walked me through the "reset" and presto! IT WAS FIXED!! ED, YOU ARE A ROCK STAR! I ordered a double oven that I was told would be in on Saturday for pickup. Went there to pick it up around 3ish and was told the truck doesn't arrive until 5 pm. That's fine, our mistake for not finding out time. Go to pick up next day and the appliance is not there. Manager says the "guy in the warehouse misread the order"! Not his fault he says! Why he didn't confirm the appliance was/was not on the truck the day before is shocking to me. The manager said we can go to pick it up at the warehouse or wait for the next day. They don't have drivers to spare - even after their mixup! No thanks, he did however after pushback take $100 off the price of the appliance for our trouble. So for the third time we drive down to Manny's (over 30 miles one way) to pick up appliance. I agree with another reviewer - if you are able to shop elsewhere, its worth it not to deal with very bad customer service!! Oh and after leaving a message for the front office in Wilbraham, no return call from them. read more
