Convenient Car car was absolutely hands down the most honest shop I've been to. I called two days ago. I was told from another shop down the street from me, that I needed brakes replaced. Convenient Car Care, Vilius, came to pick up my car, kept it over night to test if I needed anything (it wasn't starting right and had to jump start several times in a couple of weeks). Vilius told me my brakes were fine, the alternator didn't need to be fixed, but that my tires in front may need to be replaced should I be moving out of state. Vilius was even honest to the point of telling me I should get my tires elsewhere so I would be able to have a warranty out of state which he couldn't provide if I moved. So, to have my car driven to his shop, looked at and evaluated over night, driven a few times, was only $99. He saved me hundreds if not a thousand! Thank you so much. I was lucky to get my oil change without an appointment. However, I heard you have to call ahead of time and just check if they have any openings. I experienced a high level of customer service the moment I walked on property. They finished my car in a timely manner and even fixed my license plate light. These guys know how to take care of the customer. I've had my oil changed here before and they did a great job then so why not give them a call. I had a problem with an aftermarket part I had on my car. They were pretty busy on Saturday but they took me in right away and fixed the problem in like 15 minutes. They charged me a really low price for the work they did which really caught me off guard. A lot of shops would charge a minimum per hour for even touching your car. I needed my clutch replaced and this is the first place I knew I wanted to go to! Quick,honest and knowledgable. Vilius the owner told me a quick quote while on the phone with me and it beat every shop around by about half! Couldn't be a better first impression! Dropped my car off late Thursday afternoon and by Friday morning it was already to go. Not only did he replace my clutch, he adjusted the clutch pedal itself, topped off all my fluids, and flushed my transmission fluid (just to be nice) on the way out he noticed my tail lights were out and guess what.... I bought a Groupon for an oil change for only twenty dollars and they were just awesome. Checked my tires and everything and got a quote within 15 minutes for my 60k mile service. The oil change only took a half hour too, which even if it was longer, I wouldn't have minded because the guy who waited on me, Vilius, was super nice and friendly, and the waiting area was way nicer than I've ever seen a mechanic shop, or even some car dealerships. This may be my go-to repair place from now on. Initially, I had an oil change done here (with a G. voucher...very good price). Then my check engine light in my older Honda needed quick attention. The price quoted to me by the repair place where I had just had my alternator replaced, was nearly TWICE what Convenient Care Care quoted and charged me. I won't give them quite 5 stars, because they found a broken wire, which may have been the reason for the check engine light. However, according to the car's computer I seemingly needed a new knock sensor (emissions system) which the place that wanted to charge me almost twice had diagnosed. In addition, this broken wire may have been done by the repair shop that replaced the starter motor, and told me I needed a new alternator. Checking back on my records, THEY REPLACED THE ALTERNATOR ONLY 3 YEARS AGO (I won't name names --yet.) I don't drive the car that much. So the plot thickens. Maybe I should give Convenient four and a half stars. read more
