There's a camp host that drives around to check you in. They give you guidelines as well. Rules to follow and such. Quiet time is 10pm to 6am. Well...some folks didn't care about quiet time and they were right next to us and were playing monopoly or some board game and were loud till about midnight. Totally was not cool. I felt like the sites were too close to each other. That's my only complaint. The lakes themselves are beautiful so make sure to check those out as there are many in the surrounding area.

Each spot came with a bear box and a bunch of water spigots around the campsites. The hosts were great and very accommodating. Recommendation: Definitely reserve a spot ahead of time if you want to get the sites closest to the creeks. Otherwise it's a great place to stay. We had site #77 and loved it. Keep in mind we've done this a few times here and there's never been an issue substitution wise for ordering tacos, however on this visit, we were told we could not do any substitutions which I thought was kind of odd as I'm not a seafood fan so I simply requested to have one of the other whether it be Asada or Pollo instead of a trio and not the seafood. After many discussions with our server, and then the manager that was on duty, I was told they're absolutely was no substitutions which I thought was unreasonable ,so after a long time customerI decided we would just not order and close out our bill and this put a sour taste in my mouth about LaCosina. They continue to raise their prices and now not offer choices, and not cater to those who do not like seafood. I am saddened to say, but we will no longer be a customer at La Cosina.

Okay, the parking is terrible but if you're patient and parking lot pimpin', there will be an open spot for you! The water is freezing here in the summer but that is why I love it so much! I love being the 1 out of 3 people who swims here lol. If you want to fish here, I promise there's no fish here. We can never catch anything here! 10/10 will always visit again.

We planned a 5-day weekend trip in Yosemite /Eastern Sierras and decided to stay here with a large…read moregroup. Some experienced campers, some new but we all enjoyed our stay. Campgrounds are very well maintained, the bathrooms are clean (no soap though when we were there), potable water spigots all arounds, and campsites have plenty of space. Car ports were a bit tight (he had 2 per parking space) but we managed. Hosts drive around all day and make sure things are going smoothly, some people may like that, others might find it a little annoying. Place is walking distance from a Starbucks and a short drive to the 2 main breweries but oddly does feels secluded enough. Enjoyed our stay and will be back!

The water is cool to cold (depending on the time of year) and refreshing. Highly recommended
