This was our first time staying at an RV Park. We're beginners and luckily Greg, the host, was so patient and wonderful to us as was his wife Betty. He guided my husband to park the RV trailer. We had great conversations with the hosts and other campers. Everyone was super nice. The park is small but so peaceful and beautiful. Having full hookups made us feel right at home. Gull Lake and June lake were a short distance walk. My doggy loved the park and there were plenty of places to walk him. The market, restaurants, and bars are so close by you could walk everywhere. We're hoping to come back to this park next year and for tears to come.

Great place to visit June lake. Good size spots, great camp host, clean, safe and they offer free extensions if your hookups don't reach. It's a 5 min walk to gull lake and 10min walk June lake. It's also 1/2 block from the June lake brewery and town. We will be returning here.

Great find here with friendly staff. Jan is the best camp host I've ever encountered, she is in her right place. Very peaceful and relaxing RV Park. Only thing missing are bathrooms/showers. Not an issue made us utilize the RV the way it was intended. Beautiful places to explore all around. Would be happy to return someday.

Everyone was super friendly. I'm a new trailer owner and Gary parked my trailer for me and my neighbors were super helpful too. Gull Lake, June lake, brewery literally everything is within walking distance. There's trees and clean picnic tables. You have to sit next to the office for WIFI to work but I switched my phone to 3G and had no issues. I had another campsite at Silverlake but this one was so much better! Everything was perfect. Will definitely come back.

After 3 1/2 months and the help of the Better Business Bureau, I received my refund today. I am happy to finally get it.

We typically do not order off of the happy hour menu, but we decided what the heck prices seem to be better, Let's give it a shot. Keep in mind we've done this a few times here and there's never been an issue substitution wise for ordering tacos, however on this visit, we were told we could not do any substitutions which I thought was kind of odd as I'm not a seafood fan so I simply requested to have one of the other whether it be Asada or Pollo instead of a trio and not the seafood. After many discussions with our server, and then the manager that was on duty, I was told they're absolutely was no substitutions which I thought was unreasonable ,so after a long time customerI decided we would just not order and close out our bill and this put a sour taste in my mouth about LaCosina. They continue to raise their prices and now not offer choices, and not cater to those who do not like seafood. I am saddened to say, but we will no longer be a customer at La Cosina.

I have lost sleep about writing this review. As a Yelp Elite, I try to focus on the positive but…read moreour Mono Vista RV Park experience left a bad taste in my mouth. First off, we are kind travelers. We are military. We are quiet. We park our RV and relax. In my summation, we are great people to have in an RV park. No pets. No kids. No drama. When we arrived at the park, we were assigned our numbers. We were traveling with our dear friends. As we were backing in, a man on a golf cart asked us, "Why are you up here?" I replied, "This is the spot the lady in the office gave us." He retorted something that was inaudible. We didn't just pick a spot, because if we had this wouldn't have been it. The next man drove up on a golf cart shaking his finger at us. The other man proceeded to say something about being in the ruts and to let the driver know to stay in the ruts. When we were set up, there was dog excrement in the area where we were going to eat. I asked the man on one of the golf carts if it was our responsibility to clean the area. We do not own dogs. He acted like I asked him to build a completely new RV park. He was impertinent and upset with my question. The people we were traveling with didn't have water in their RV. They had planned on using the showers and the bathrooms. Due to a maintenance issue, the bathrooms and showers did not work. I know this is not the park's fault. I feel, though, something should have been posted on the website to let the public know. We definitely would have made other arrangements. On the positive side, there are great pull-throughs when you first enter the park. If you are staying here, please try to request one of those. Mono Vista RV Park has the potential to be amazing. The location is wonderful - Yosemite, lakes abound to include Mono Lake, darling town. Fun ice cream shop. If rude customer service doesn't bother you, Mono Vista RV Park will suffice for your stay.

This is a review of the general store and marina area. We did not stay in the campground here…read more I've been following Twin Lakes Resort on social media for sometime now due to the epic community and mountain culture they've cultivated here over the years. It's a place with real roots. Families make traditions of coming here and I can see why. Many of the lakes in the Sierra are hard to access due to limited development and parking, but Twin Lakes has struck the right balance offering opportunities for day trippers and campers the like. Coming up from the valley below the lakes, I never imagined there'd be quite the lively "town center" we came upon. The general store is clearly a central gathering place where fish stories are swapped and visitors can stock up on basics, grab a bite or a bloody marry, and snag all the local intel and tackle they'll need to catch a big one in the waters directly across the street. Unlike the other small stores I visited, the staff here was GOLD! They were incredibly friendly, full of info, engaging and welcoming too! Our kids got to participate in a scavenger hunt and after finishing it got to choose rad prizes. The merchandise in the store is also AMAZING! I decided I'd buy a hat or shirt after I get my first big trout out of the lakes. They also offer boat rentals at the marina with everything from kayaks and SUP to larger pontoon boats. We had hoped to rent a pontoon for the day but got there a bit later in the day and missed out. Apparently you can reserve online (I must've missed the link when looking) and the rates are super reasonable (less than $300 for the day on a pontoon for up to 8). It kind of worked out because the wind kicked up and that would've likely ended our day on the water, but I'd love to do a half day starting in the morning! This isn't a secret of any kind, but it's somewhere more folks from the Reno area need to explore.

The boat rental was great and everyone caught a fish, even the 4 year old. Our 11 year old loves fishing in the stream and we love seeing our family during our stay at Twin Lakes Resort. The staff at the store are helpful and kind. We can't wait to come back soon!
