WONDERFUL little RV Park just steps from Gull lake and a 10 minute walk over to June Lake Marina! Very clean- lots of gravel... the camp host Nando is the best! And his wife alongside him as well as their little Frenchie Nala! A very dog friendly RV park too! Nando is Super friendly and attentive! Truly desires the guests to be happy and goes above and beyond to make sure your needs are met! They have a new spa area, 2 beautiful 1 person bathrooms w/shower, a comfortable community clubhouse with couch, chairs huge tv, coffee, creamers, milk, seltzers-all complimentary! Each site has newer firepits and they sell firewood... small, tidy, perfect!! While there's a long list of rules, the park is so chill - not uptight like so many others. It's all about common sense and courtesy... Also, just a five minute walk to the Local Scoop ice cream, the Deli, the general store and June Lake Brewing, where you'll find the La Parrilla food truck, which is amazing! There are a couple other restaurants as well, but most of them are closed Sunday through Tuesday, which is a bummer. None are dog friendly unless a service animal (but not the general store or the balanced rock cantina restaurant-no dogs PERIOD) June Lake Marina offers boat rentals but Gull lake is a little cheaper and much prettier! We checked out a couple other rv campgrounds and this one by far exceeds them all! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! No need to go anywhere else! read more

Every year I stay her for the 4th and it's the most magical experience for my kids and I. Nando is so sweet and helpful and was always there if we needed something or had any questions. They have a beautiful cedar tub to soak in as well as a cedar sauna, which made it feel like a self-care retreat for me. Their clubhouse is very chic and is always stocked with coffee and fresh filtered water. I can't wait to come back next year.! read more

Stayed last year and had a pleasant time. Reason for the one star review now is I have called numerous times to try and cancel a future reservation and the number is not answered, and voice mail if full. Over a period of several months I have sent numerous emails, all are unanswered. I have called the company used to schedule the sites and they have not been able to get on contact with the owner. Perfect RV park whether you are just passing through for a day or 2, or staying here for a longer time. The facilities are CLEAN, WiFi is fast, and the other guests are respectful. The sites are gravel and offer a fire pit and are clean. There's two updated private bathrooms on site, with a shower included. Stayed at park in Sept. for 2 nights 4 people in a 28 ft C class Pros: Park is well situated and small but sufficient room to enjoy our stay. The young man Alejandro relative to new owners was nice enough upon arrival. All amenities worked {spa and sauna still in process's} bathrooms were expectable. Cons: Upon arrival Alejandro and I agreed to pay the remainder of the charges for our stay with the on record credit card and also give me a discount for first responder and being a Veteran. Which I thanked him for. When I received the bill not only did he not include a discount he charged me an extra $5 doubling the service fee. I emailed him regarding the matter and as you will note they are not good at answering the phone or replying to email. Bathrooms could use a little more upkeep. Next trip plan to stay at the state park for the price a better deal. read more

Beautiful park! A little tight, but the hosts were great and very helpful! Quiet park. The septic was a little far away, had to hook a few hoses together to make it reach, but it worked. A clean and nice place to stay on June lake however the spots are very tight. Be prepared to use all of your RV parking prowess when coming here. The camp hosts are incredibly kind though. Very warm and welcoming. No location is great for walking and the June lake village and walking out to gull lake. We were here at the end of the season when it snowed. They gave great advice about getting out of the park without having to go up a very steep incline that was covered nice. The only reason this isn't a five-star is really because of the size. There are a few RV camping areas around the lake and this one definitely seems to be on the smaller side. But everything works, they have darts available, a community fire pit area. And they're ingenious use of old washing machine tubs as fire pits when the season allows is great. read more

Golden Pine RV Park is located just north of Mammoth on the June Lake loop. Walking distance to the Gull Lake marina and June Lake. The RV park is small, offers a gravel surface which we preferred! The gravel kept the dust down and when it rained there wasn't a muddy mess! Each site has a picnic table (with cute potted plant), a fire pit, and full hookups including cable and wifi. No need to complain about the wifi being slow... do any of you really expect FAST wifi at an RV park? The bathrooms were dated, but VERY clean and orderly. And the camp hosts Crystal and Johnny were FANTASTIC! There are places to dine, have coffee, or cocktails within walking distance as well as a market which offers EVERYTHING you could have possibly hope to find! Each site offers a fire pit as well and every night we used it to gather our group and talk about the adventures everyone had during the day. After a few days our group made friends with other campers who have been caping regularly at this RV park for over 20-years! The park felt very safe and there was a real sense of community amongst the campers. We look forward to coming up every year... this really is a special little spot. read more

Golden Pine RV is a great rv campground in the June Lake Loop in between June and Gull lake. The camp hosts are highly informative about the area and made our stay as enjoyable as possible. The campsite has full hookups for rvs and is nestled in the trees only a block away from Gull Lake Marina. Clean restrooms and they were in the middle or renovations for a family center while we stayed (June 2022) The sites hold plenty of space for a cozy set up and are provided with fire pits. We chose this rv site over Silver Lake resort and we were not disappointed at all. Chip and Kim run a great campground and we are looking forward to booking here again next Summer! Just finished a 5 day stay... loved it and can't wait to come back. Excellent communication with updates related to covid19 and wildfires/smoke. Noticed some reviews mention small spaces... we were actually impressed, compared to beach camping, we found the space to be generous. The grounds were impeccably clean, gravel/rock pads kept dust down. Just beautiful, small, quaint and cozy park. Walking distance to Gull Lake Marina, and the village in general (Tiger Bar). I'm hoping maybe this will get the attention of the campground owners. I have been trying to contact them since the beginning of the month. We were set to arrive in May and cannot safely get there due to snow. The voicemail is full, the phone doesn't ring and they do not respond to my numerous emails. The emailed a generic email the other night saying they cannot open for our reservation. Since then I have been contacting them to get $215 back for my deposits. No response. Please contact me! I understand snow is out of your control but we are less than 3 weeks away from our trip and you've cancelled on us! We have to make other arrangements. PLEASE EMAIL ME BACK AND REDUND ME. read more

We have stayed at Golden Pine a couple of times now and each stay has been fantastic. Lindsey (park owner) could not be nicer or more accommodating. The park is clean and just steps away from Gull Lake marina with boating and fishing. The little downtown area of June Lake has a general store with a little bit of everything, a few restaurants (and June Lake Brewing should you have a hankering for some craft beer) and is maybe a 5 minute walk from the RV park. We recently camped here for three nights for my birthday. The location is great if you want to be in close proximity to grocery store, restaurants, and the lake (Gull Lake). The bathrooms/showers and grounds are kept very clean, and they even have cute pot of flowers on each table. It was a nice touch. The host was very welcoming and helpful. The campsites are a fairly good size (we had a 20 ft trailer). Being able to walk to the lake in the morning with our coffee was a plus, there are a lot of trees in the area too for nice shade in the warmer months. The only con would be that this is a pretty crowded area. And because it's located in a neighborhood with cabins just across the street, the nights weren't as quiet and serene as we had hoped for. Someone had a house party until 2:30 am and even with all the windows and trailer door closed we could hear it. You can easily hear your neighbor campers conversations, and there isn't a ton of privacy if you want you hang outside of your trailer. If you make plans to stay here, just know you are definitely surrounded by a lot of people. If you're fine with that, this place is perfect! But we were hoping for something a bit more private, this was one of the only places we could find last minute, so we had to stay here. Other than the close proximity to town/other cabins, it was lovely. read more

Tight Rv park on a slope that feels like it was once a car park. Small gravel spots at 20'x20' mean you cant park your car with your rig. Parking spots are then allocated and there's a problem with other people parking in them as the place is so tight on space. Generally old and run down with minimal maintenance a sign asks you to 'watch your step' over a crumbling concrete step. They'd rather put a sign up than fix it. Plastic furniture table cracked and burned, Disappointing. Advertised with toilets and showers but these are not available to you. There's a code on the bathroom that is guarded with secrecy - its 6101 btw. Currently whole load of covid restrictions. Be aware if you think you will be able to use shower and restroom - you may not. The lake is a couple of blocks away but inaccessible at this point with marsh and weeds, further along is a marina. Theres no banks nearby easily accessible for fishing. Did I mention the 2 pages of petty rules you are handed on checkin ? The priority it seems is on policing you to adhere to these rules rather than welcoming you and helping you settle in. Bathrooms were black with grime and despite the multiple covid 19 signs and water/bleach bottle left out its clear no-one is actually prepared to scrub the bathrooms clean. Anything that requires any effort to fix or clean here just gets ignored. Not for us we will not return. Popular with older folk who are fine to look past its failings. Plenty of camping spots right on gull lake that are half the price and much less hassle. read more

This place have us what we needed: a place to park the rv for a night. In that regard, this place is great; 5 stars. I'll give 3 stars, though, because I wouldn't recommend it for camping for any extended amount of time. The only reason being that it is very cramped and crowded. Crowded camp sites is the only issue here. Some great things about this place: close to the lake, close to the town, close to restaurants and bars, close to everything. If you are looking to camp for one or two nights, this place is a gem. If you are looking to plan a week long family trip, go somewhere else. read more

We absolutely loved our week long stay here. October is a beautiful time of year in June Lake, full hook ups kept us warm at night. There's quarter laundry, and free showers. They have communal games available and each spot has its own picnic table and fire put. Location is perfect between June & Gull lake and within walking distance to everything. Really loved it here. My wife and I just spent two weeks at Golden Pine RV Park and can not say enough great things about the new owners Ryan & Lindsey Charging. Lindsey is the onsite Manage, she is outgoing and as a Manager she is outstanding. She wants to help you in anyway she can and always seems willing to go the extra mile. We ran out of doggy ..... bags and went to ask her where we could buy some in June Lake and she offered us a roll of bags she had for her dog "Ted" and would not let me pay her for them. I wanted to include the information above to show the type of people the new owners are. As to the park, it's great. It has full hook up, flat pads, plus a good TV line up. The bathrooms and shower rooms were spotless, They also have coin operated washers and dryers. The nice thing is you can walk to both Gull and June Lake to fish or just to have a nice walk. The town which is between only about 3 or 4 blocks long and can meet most of your needs. Check it out, we have come 5 or 6 times to this RV park and have to say that this has been the best year of them all! read more

The location is perfect as it's walking distance not only to the lake, but to town and all of the little restaurant, cafés, shops, and the micro brewery. Within walking distance to Town, June, and Gull Lakes. We scored and got what I thought was a perfect spot on a corner with only one neighbor. Host was gracious, directed me perfectly to park the rig. Couldn't have asked for a better place to use our 19ft. trailer for the first time. They had pancake breakfast for all One morning. We were within 1 hour of most sites we visited. During our stay we visited Bodie Ghost Town, Devils Post Pile, Yosemite Valley, Glacier Point, Olmsted, and went fishing. read more
